Chapter 3332: Reward Order

Chapter 3332: Reward OrderEditor: Nyoi-Bo Studio

"Hey, Brother Fang Heng, letting her go won’t cause any problems, right?"

"Shouldn’t be, but we still need Augustine to send someone to keep an eye on her."

Fang Heng glanced at the quickly departing Olivia, then swiftly gathered at the front of the battlefield.

Soul warrior spirits were useful.

By farming points, he could exchange them for gold to purchase more Heroic Spirit Orbs and holy gemstones, summoning additional soul warrior spirits.

As the number of soul warrior spirits increased, he could use them to fight Netherworld creatures.

Most importantly, high-tier soul warrior spirits could eliminate Netherworld creatures.

Once their numbers reached a certain threshold, he could use them to help expand the fusion passages between the Death Realm and the Netherworld.

Of course, Instructor Nois was a complication.

But that would be resolved soon.

Fang Heng thought this as he nodded slightly to Zane beside him, "Watch him. I’ll go take a look around."

"No problem."

Over three days, he had accumulated a substantial amount of faith power in the sea of consciousness. Additionally, the S-level Netherworld temple he had previously connected spiritually had been added to the guarded domain of Church No. 177.

It was time to test the temple’s second conversion effect.

More than half an hour later, Fang Heng entered the temple.

Compared to three days ago, the aura of death surrounding the temple had grown denser.

Two Pillars of Black Fog had been established at the temple’s periphery, each guarded by five squads of death knights.

Fang Heng flicked his wrist, summoning a rune paper in his hand, which he hurled forward.

"Bang!"

The rune exploded midair, revealing a Licker.

The Licker quickly formed a flesh cocoon and reverted to its normal zombie form.

The conversion was visible: its decayed skin receded, its grim expression softened, and its skin gradually turned pale. Two faint blue soul flames appeared in its empty eyes.

An undead clone.

[Hint: The player expended 5,000 King of Gods’ points. This clone has now converted to undead form; all prior modifications based on zombie form have been cleared.]

Fang Heng raised his right hand, pointing at the clone.

Faith conversion!

The faith power in the sea of consciousness resonated with the temple. The entire temple blossomed with dark light, and the surrounding Netherworld aura surged toward the undead clone.

In an instant, the clone was enveloped in the dense aura, forming a black levitating sphere in midair.

Within seconds, the dense aura of death dissipated.

[Hint: You have completed the faith conversion of an undead creature into an Underworld Hunter.]

[Hint: Your zombie clone has now been transformed into an Underworld Hunter. To solidify this state requires 100,000 King of Gods’ points (it will remain an Underworld Hunter even after revival).]

Underworld Hunter?

Fang Heng stared as the Netherworld creature gradually emerged from the black sphere.

It was an agile undead unit skilled in assassination.

Its size was roughly that of a shorter human, but its frame was extremely thin, wrapped in layers of white bandages that obscured its face, leaving only a pair of ghostly blue eyes visible through the gaps.

Hmm?

Fang Heng raised an eyebrow.

The Hunter gradually faded into the Netherworld air until it completely disappeared, fully blending into the environment.

It was not in ordinary soul body form, but a special technique of the Underworld Hunter, allowing it to conceal itself within space.

Since it was in the Netherworld and had no blood, even Fang Heng had to exert effort to perceive it in a hidden state.

Fang Heng quickly opened his system panel to check.

[Undead clone: Underworld Hunter.]

Additional skills: Death Concealment, Night Demon, Insight, Shadow Hunt, Shadow Blade, Death Cross, Ambush, Spirit Evasion, Foresight, Death Rebirth, Spirit Form Transformation, Critical Strike, Undead Clone.

Description: This creature is undead and cannot be modified using the Seed of Ouroboros.

Not bad.

In Fang Heng’s view, the undead clone inherited 80% of the main body’s basic attributes.

Terrifying.

With such a large attribute bonus, the base attributes of the transformed body were less important; even ordinary evil spirit skeletons could possess terrifying stats.

He focused more on combat skills and form transformations.

Seeing that the Shadow Hunter possessed a range of skills immediately piqued his interest.

Its level was likely no lower than that of a death knight.

Especially the skill: Death Concealment.

It must be the key to hiding its main body.

Fang Heng thought for a moment and issued a command for the converted Underworld Hunter to attack him.

"Whoosh!!"

The Underworld Hunter suddenly appeared beside a death knight, slashing a cross-shaped imprint through the air with its bandaged right arm blade.

"Boom!!!"

The death knight had no time to react and was instantly killed by the cross-hunting skill.

Shadow aura condensed nearby, and the death knight resurrected again.

Very good!

Fang Heng nodded silently, his eyes gleaming with excitement.

Its effectiveness against infinitely respawning Netherworld death knights was not yet fully evident, but at least he knew it was not useless.

Ideally, he could have his God Clan subordinates’ oracles test it further.

As for the downside...

The main issue was cost: one Underworld Hunter required a full 100,000 King of Gods’ points.

He still had half of his King of Gods’ points left, but the bigger problem was the consumption of faith power.

It was massive.

With his current ability, he could not summon in bulk.

Fang Heng flicked his wrist, reabsorbing the clone into a rune paper.

No matter.

With the church’s help, he believed he would soon secure a foothold in the Netherworld.

...

Only a week passed.

It was the church’s semi-monthly settlement day.

Instructor Nois learned that Adam had unilaterally obtained over a hundred extra domains for the church, tripling the Netherworld territories under the church’s responsibility. He was furious.

"What!? Who allowed him to do this!? Olivia! What’s going on?!"

"Adam said he had your permission."

Olivia had anticipated Nois’ reaction and presented the report. "This is the Netherworld guard report for this month. The church has issued us rewards and additional points."

"That idiot Adam! When did I ever say that! I’m going to send him to the Judgment Hall for trial..."

"Huh? You said what? Rewards? What rewards?"

Nois froze, instinctively taking the report from Olivia. As he read the contents, surprise appeared in his eyes.

"The church actually issued us a commendation?"
