Reborn in the Eighties as a Housewife with a Space

Chapter 2815 - 2813: What Did She Dream About?

“Chu Molin, don’t.” Qin Xue shouted as she watched the scene unfold in front of her, waking up in the process.

“Xue’er, I’m here. What’s wrong? Did you have a nightmare?” Chu Molin awoke the moment he heard Qin Xue speaking in her sleep.

He wasn’t sure what she had dreamed about, but she was drenched in sweat.

“Chu Molin?” Qin Xue blinked, looking at the person before her with uncertainty.

“Yes, it’s me. Don’t be afraid, I’m here now. No one can hurt you.” Chu Molin replied to her question, gently patting her back.

“What’s everyone staring at? Never seen someone have a nightmare before?” Lin Ziqi was also startled awake by Qin Xue’s shout, but upon noticing the surrounding people’s gazes, he spoke out to stop them from staring.

Though he was curious about what Qin Xue had dreamt of, he knew it wasn’t his place to ask. After dispersing the crowd, he turned away from them, but held his breath, hoping to hear what they might say.

“Chu Molin, don’t do anything foolish.” Qin Xue murmured as she buried herself into Chu Molin’s embrace.

“Alright, I’m not doing anything foolish. Rest assured, I’m here and doing well.” Chu Molin comforted her, gently patting her back.

He was squatting on the ground, allowing Qin Xue to lean into his arms. Though it was somewhat strenuous, he maintained his strength and did not let her topple him over.

Upon hearing Qin Xue’s words, he continued speaking to soothe her emotions. Apparently, she had dreamed of him, but something he did in the dream frightened her so much.

“Yes, you must take care of yourself.” Qin Xue felt dizzy, clinging to him, murmuring as she soon fell back asleep.

“Xue’er?” Chu Molin waited for a while, and when he didn’t feel her move, he called to her softly, but the person in his arms did not respond.

Supporting her, he pulled back a little only to find out that the young lady had already fallen asleep.

But her grip on his clothes was exceptionally tight, not letting go at all, demonstrating how much strength she had used.

Chu Molin tried to pull his clothes away from her grasp, but after several attempts, he failed to do so. Ultimately, he chose to give up, gently reclining her and sitting beside her to keep her company.

Xue’er, what exactly did you dream of? Chu Molin gazed at the girl furrowing her brows, unable to know the scene in her dream. His heart tightened, reaching out to smooth her brow, contemplating waking her as sweat beaded out.

However, after considering it, he refrained from doing so, thinking that her falling back asleep so quickly might be related to the previous dream. If this was the case, waking her might not be good.

It’s difficult to endure the agony of wanting to know something but having no way to, and now she might be dreaming the unfinished part of the previous dream.

No matter how the dream turns, please don’t let it upset you so much, alright? Xue’er, take care of yourself, don’t let yourself get hurt, okay?

Chu Molin stayed with Qin Xue the whole time, his thoughts unbeknownst to her. However, upon seeing her brows no longer furrowed, he finally felt some relief.

This wasn’t something he had a say in but rather depended on what her dream was like. Seeing her upset no more, they could wait until she awoke to ask her what she’d dreamed of.

Chu Molin continued to sit beside her, watching her sleep, until they reached one of the stops where passengers got on and off, prompting him to finally move his slightly numb body.
