Chapter 2535: Chapter 2544: Lawrence Corporation Terminates Cooperation with EZ

Without a trace of distress, Wendy tossed the few-thousand-dollar foundation into the trash can, reorganized her handbag, and stood up.

She didn’t hurry to leave but first walked to the washbasin to check herself in the mirror, subconsciously glancing at her own face.

Upon seeing her pale complexion and evasive eyes, her chest felt increasingly tight. Emilia Goldsmith’s words echoed in her ears, each one stabbing at her heart.

Damn it! She couldn’t remember ever offending that woman, but Emilia had come looking for trouble out of the blue.
