Chapter 2632: Chapter 2641: Sweetly Shopping Together at the Supermarket
She didn’t get it?
Adam Sinclair furrowed his brows.
She didn’t get the endorsement, so why did Prada say Olivia Lewis is their spokesperson?
Olivia seemed to see what he was thinking and explained, "I didn’t get the regional endorsement, but Prada felt I suited her personal brand style, so she invited me to be the spokesperson for her personal line under her own name. Today was a total coincidence, I don’t have as wide a network as you think. I just happened to hear about this ribbon-cutting event from Prada before, and when things seemed off, I gave her a call asking for a little favor. If she came, it was mostly for Enna’s sake, it didn’t have much to do with me."
She made the call to Prada when she saw Natasha Phillips.
She called Prada just in case, because she thought Natasha gave off the same vibe Alexander Sinclair gave her, not in looks, but in demeanor.
At the time, she already suspected Natasha was the mistress Sydney Sullivan mentioned, she worried that Natasha had ill intentions and called Prada just in case, asking for help.
Who knew she guessed right, Natasha really was up to no good.
The key thing was, just as she thought, they intended to use her to strike at Adam Sinclair.
Ever since Adam put her in the car, Alexander must have notified Natasha, and Natasha then successfully persuaded Leah Rivers, leading to this situation.
Adam looked at her deeply, his dark eyes growing more profound by the moment, and said in a hoarse, pleasant voice, "Usually at times like this, women would modestly say something touching, so the man becomes more devoted."
Olivia touched her nose, her eyes crafty, "Really? Oh, that’s my fault for being too honest. I’ll remember to say something nicer next time."
If she’s honest, then honest people don’t exist. It’s amazing she can say these things without turning red or skipping a beat. But... Adam’s mouth couldn’t help but curve up, finding her thick-skinned manner surprisingly cute.
"What are you laughing at?" Olivia got goosebumps from his laughter, rubbed her arms, and stood up, saying, "I’m hungry, is there anything in the fridge? I’ll make a fruit salad."
"Can you get full from a fruit salad?"
"Of course not, have you ever seen a female star eating until she’s full? I’m not a comedian after all." She headed straight for the fridge, casually opening the door.
She assumed the fridge would be packed with all sorts of ingredients, but to her disbelief, upon opening it, there wasn’t even a trace of anything. She turned back in disbelief and asked, "Where did everything in your fridge go? Didn’t you have someone buy stuff?"
He had such a big fridge, and yet it had nothing inside, not even a single green onion. Why keep it running, wasting electricity?
Adam walked over beside her and said, "I’m either traveling for work or socializing outside most of the time, and the rest of the time I’m with you, at your place. So I haven’t had anyone buy things."
Olivia twitched her lips, still feeling frustrated, "But aren’t all wealthy people like this? Enna’s Young Master Lawrence always has the fridge stocked full, even if unused, so things are available when needed. That’s how rich people should live."
"I don’t need that, I’m not rich, I only have you. I’m counting on you to support me." Adam’s lips curled into a playful, mischievous grin.
Olivia, "..."
After teasing, he took Olivia’s hand, tucked it into his own pocket, and said leisurely, "There’s a supermarket outside, let’s go, whatever you want to eat, let’s buy it together."
