Capítulo 478: Infinite Source Transcendence
Xiang Yu appeared in the chaos outside. He then teleported to the edge of chaos.
Here, he released the chaos inside him. There was no need to have it inside him anymore, as it didn’t help him. Besides, he was the Absolute Source, so it didn’t matter whether it was inside his body or not, it was always inside him.
After releasing this chaos, he waved his hand, initiating other reactions that spawned more chaos. Now there were ten chaos arranged in a circle. And at the center of the circle, he made another chaos.
This would be where his wife and him would stay.
They had already spent millions of years with the sect and resolved their issues from before. Now it was time for them to move out. The sect was already doing great. Having broken characters like them there wasn’t good for anyone.
He then facepalmed. Besides, the sect system broke completely when they were introduced. He was the Grand Elder but also the Ancestor. His wife was the Sect Master but also the Ancestor through relation to him. His martial nephew was also his martial brother.
He shook his head and descended to the newly created chaos. He then pulled his wife from the other chaos and brought her here.
“Husband,” she called out.
“This will be our new home. What do you think?” he asked.
“I love it,” she said, hugging him.
She waved her hand and created a huge estate for them. She didn’t need to be in a world and just created it in the void. The two then floated into it.
…
A million years later, Xiang Yu sat in a meditative posture. He opened his eyes as his wife approached, hugging him from behind.
“Husband…” she spoke softly.
“What is it?” he asked.
“Why are you always cultivating?” she asked. Although her husband always got up and battled her whenever she asked, he would always go back to his cultivation.
“I need to become stronger,” Xiang Yu said.
“But isn’t Husband already invincible?” Li Yao asked.
Xiang Yu thought that she was right. At the moment, he had reached his goal of invincibility, but he still felt that something was missing. Maybe it was just about potential. For some reason, he felt that this wasn’t his limit – he could go even further.
Why was he even doing this? He was already invincible anyway.
He smiled. He already knew the answer. It seemed his obsession was not just invincibility but strength. He would always want more and more power. Such was the sort of person he was.
At the moment, the path he was using to pursue more and more strength was through creating chaos. Now, there was almost an uncountable amount of chaos that he had created. He was doing all this to increase his mastery over the Absolute Source, though he felt like it hadn’t helped.
He thought of planes of existence. He decided to layer in planes of existence on the many chaos he had created. He thought of all these as one entity and decided to base that on a plane of existence.
After a million years, he managed to establish the first complex plane of existence.
It was made of virtually infinite chaos, and each of those chaos had countless planes of existence within it. He decided to call the initial countless chaos Level 0.
After establishing a complex plane of existence through it, it became Complex Level 0.
After creating this, he felt that he had bypassed a certain threshold inside himself.
He decided to continue like this.
…
Another million years later, he used the Complex Level 0 to create a virtually infinite amount of them, just like he had done with the chaos. Then he was back to square one. This collection of virtually infinite Complex Level 0 was named Level 1.
He then started the process once again, basing a plane of existence off this, making a Complex Level 1.
He then continued like this for another million years, using the Complex Level 1s to make Level 2. Then basing a plane of existence off of it to make Complex Level 2.
He continued doing this for an unknown amount of time, to the point where he had Infinite Complex Level Infinity.
He opened his eyes. He had transcended the Absolute Source.
He looked at himself. He still felt that he could get stronger even after this. But first—
“Husband… dinner is ready,” Li Yao called out.
Xiang Yu got up and walked over to eat dinner with his wife.
He wasn’t in a hurry and would always respond whenever his wife called him, even when transcending the Absolute Source. There were no enemies after him, and he had all the time in the world.
“This is so good,” he thought, shedding a tear.
It was really good – not like the one she had cooked back in Chapter 4.
And she had reached this level with just her own effort.
“Husband, why are you crying?” she asked.
“It’s nothing. It’s just so good,” he said.
If even Li Yao can improve her cooking, then can’t anyone do the same? Though it had taken her an uncountable amount of years, it was still something.
“Wife, Husband is proud of you,” he said.
“Why are you behaving so strangely?” she asked.
…
Later, he was back to practicing.
He observed the Absolute Source concept that he had transcended. His power was based off the Absolute Source concept before, but now that he had transcended it, he had no base of power, and there was no higher concept to grasp.
Although this usually meant that he couldn’t get any stronger than this, Xiang Yu didn’t let that stop him. He had an idea.
If he couldn’t become stronger because he didn’t have a basis of power, he would become the basis. His previous realm was Absolute Source, and his current realm was Source Transcendence. He needed to create a higher realm.
But even after he did that, wouldn’t he encounter the same problem of lacking a basis? That’s why he decided to become the basis.
He summoned his entire concept. This was what he was – something of infinite complexity. He compressed this infinite complexity into a single point of ultimate simplicity but still maintained all its properties and complexity.
After that, he layered infinite complexity onto the condensed core, making it expand infinitely.
He then condensed it once again into a single point. He then rewrote this to be his existence.
He called it the Infinite Source Transcendence.
It was just like the name implied – it was a realm that infinitely transcended itself.
Now, just by being, he was gaining infinite complexity before transcending this and gaining even more layered complexity, and the cycle continued… He was endlessly transcending himself.
In just the first cycle, he already felt the unattainable power he had achieved.
In the second cycle, he was unattainable even to the previous unattainable state of power.
In the third cycle, he could… I could already take control over my own story.
At that time, I hear my wife calling, “Husband.” ɪꜰ ʏᴏᴜ ᴡᴀɴᴛ ᴛᴏ ʀᴇᴀᴅ ᴍᴏʀᴇ ᴄʜᴀᴘᴛᴇʀs, ᴘʟᴇᴀsᴇ ᴠɪsɪᴛ 𝘯𝘰𝘷𝘦𝘭•𝔣𝔦𝔯𝔢•𝓷𝓮𝓽
I smile as I get up, the cycles still continuing inside me. “Wife, I’m done with cultivation,” I say.
“You are?” she asks.
“That’s right. Now I can focus on being a father,” I say with a smile.
“How did you know?” she asked, and I merely smiled.
“Tch, and I was thinking of surprising you,” she said.
I merely laughed. My wife looked really cute at that moment.
[THE END]

Author’s Corner
Absolute Cinema
Anyway, this is it. The Absolute End.
Infinite Awakening started off a lot different than it is now and the ending I had in mind back then is already forgotten. This is the path we forged for Xiang Yu (yes, we. you and I). In a sense, you could say it’s our story.
Thank you guys for choosing to be a part of this. I really enjoyed reading your comments and will still continue doing this. I hope you guys enjoyed your time with Xiang Yu, Li Yao, and the rest of the cast.
If you guys want, I will make side stories according to your requests, though I will probably refrain from making the stories involving current Xiang Yu as his story has ended. So maybe the side characters.
Sorry I’m all over the place.
Thank you.
