CRASH!

Yan Se was checking out the situation as she lifted her head, only to have her face smashed into the dashboard. The concussion caused her to black out.

The main road was congested with cars and motorcycles honking in light of various colors as the people screamed at the truck set in a blazing flame not too far away from the red sports car stuck at the barrier.

The police soon came and evacuated the crowd as the ambulance came with its siren wailing.

“L-Lu… Bai…”

Meanwhile inside the building of Thunderbolt Corp., Lu Zhaoyang could not help but sigh at her own reflection. She was majestically dressed with her tight-fitting long gown that provided a rather—”spacious” cut at her chest and a pretty—”adorable” heart-shaped hollow at the back of her waists.

She snorted, wondering if she was attending some comic book convention or an actual, formal business dinner held by their clients with Huo Yunting.

Are you sure this is the right dress? Lin Yazhi?

Huo Yunting walked out of his office and stumbled upon the seductively dressed, face tinted with faint scarlet—the very suggestive look of his woman. His eyes were hooked to have a quick skim on her head to toes, a few pauses at her revealed collarbone with her fair neck adorned with a silver pendant gleaming like the piece of jewel dangling on her chest.

He inhaled deeply and pretended he had seen nothing as he walked past her calmly.

Lu Zhaoyang put a coat over her and immediately followed after him into the elevator.

Inside the elevator, as the Jazz music played nonchalantly in the background, Huo Yunting was staring into the nothingness. In reality, his eyes were fixed upon her reflection, his nose feasted on her breath that filled up the tiny space confining both of them. It was as if he could even hear her heartbeats. His breath hastened as he passed a glance at the digital figure on the screen going down like a million years.

He turned to her.

“The heck yo-” She could not breath as her back tickled by the frigidity of the metallic wall upon being pressed down by the giant man before her. His tongue swarmed upon her inside, tasting every joy he sought as his arms ensnared her entity.

What the hell, Huo Yunting? We are in an elevator!

Lu Zhaoyang thought yet her body was as if only a stack of dynamite to be lighted up by the burning passion of the man. She softened as her body heated up. It was as if Huo Yunting’s kiss stole every last bit of oxygen she could breathe.

“Hmmm Hmmm!” Her hands pressed against his chest, trying to push him away yet resistance was futile. His chest was hard like the door that locked her up in the dungeon of his. She could not exert strength as libido raided her.

BEEEP! BEEP! BEEP!

It was then a ringtone that shattered the fantasy as Huo Yunting shuddered, stopped and let go of her eventually. “Hello?” With a slightly wrinkled collar, he picked up the call. Lu Zhaoyang was panting as she slid down to the floor. Her eyes were large as her opened mouth under the tousled hair. Her bosom lifted and fell like her thoughts wondering what had happened.

“Understood,” said Huo Yunting coldly before hanging up and faced his back towards her.

The elevator chimed when they hit the Ground Floor and Huo Yunting exited promptly with Lu Zhaoyang hurriedly along.

It was as if the kiss never happened.

Her mind was blank till the engine started after she got into the car.

I knew it. Lin Yazhi always picks the wrong dress. Why do I even consult her on things?

She pinched her forehead. Her eyes then wandered upon the man next to her, sitting with hand holding his chin.

If there’s someone to blame, it should always be this libido-driven beast! Ugh!

10 minutes down the road, Lu Zhaoyang realized something off.

“Uhh—President, sir? Is this the way to the venue? Aren’t we heading the wrong way?” It might take a while to arrive by the place but really the direction was the opposite.

“Don’t you know there’s a saying called ‘All roads lead to Rome’?”

“…Okay…” She kept quiet as she looked out through the window.

If my boss wanted to have a detour, I, as simply a secretary would have nothing to say.

But the detour got them to the general hospital.

She flinched.

What happened?

Huo Yunting then got out of his car and Lu Zhaoyang went after him. They headed to the Surgery Room straight.

“You two are finally here,” said Huo Li at the seat.
