"You also have healing magic?" he asked.
"I obtained it from my master in the Original World," she said, smiling.
Mike laughed. "You got a master in the Original World? Why am I not surprised," he said, as Lily just looked at him smugly.
"So, what did your master say?" Mike asked while cutting down half of the undead.
"She checked my talents and found that I have affinities for five different elements, with Water being the strongest. Maybe that's why I awakened the Water Mage class. My Life and Death magic affinities were also good, just a bit behind Water. As for the last two, they were Dark—and the weakest was Moon magic," she said, as Mike nodded.
"You're amazing. I mean, most people have one or two at most," Mike said, staring at her. "Any chance you can get me that test? I'd like to see my affinities too."
"I'll ask my master, but according to her, they're expensive," she said.
Mike nodded. "Yeah, a single test costs ten million at the Association," he said. Lily nodded and added, "But you have a lot of money, and you can make a ton of it too."
"That doesn't mean I'll just start swimming in money like an idiot," he said.
"By the way, how do you plan to store these undead? My Land of Blighted Death can store undead and even heal them while they're inside, but what about you?" she asked.
Mike took out a skill book. "I bought this some time ago. I was planning to use it," Mike said.
He showed her the Shadow Grave skill. It was a skill that allowed one to store undead, with a capacity of 1,000 at Epic rank, and Mike could still upgrade it to Unique rank.
"Did you plan to use on upgrading skill book and undead with me a long time ago?" she asked.
Mike shook his head. "No, it was more like I planned to learn a powerful undead skill, then summon and upgrade it, store it for emergency use."
"But after you told me about your talents, I changed the strategy. I thought about using it with you and sharing the undead instead. I just wasn't sure if I could upgrade the undead again after upgrading the skill book." he said as she nodded.
"Have you learned any undead skills?" she asked.
Mike nodded. "It's a Mythical-rank skill: Eldritch Lich Summoning," he said.
She stared at him. "Shit. If you had given it to me, we could've had it permanently," she said. Mike nodded.
"Yeah. I can only summon it for five minutes, and then I have to chug mana potions nonstop," he said, then added, "I didn't know about your talent at that time, and I'm not sure if I can get another skill like that. After all, I found it at the monthly auction of the Glorious Merchant Auction House."
"But in ten days, there's the Annual Grand Auction, and I'm participating in that," Mike added.
Lily sighed—and then, as she processed his words, her face lit up with joy.
"There's a chance we can find some great things there," she said, clapping her hands.
"We?" Mike asked.
"You're sponsoring me. Don't forget that," Lily shrugged. Mike nodded.
"What level are you now?" she asked.
"I'm level 100, and I've also received my rank promotion quest. Killing monsters until I complete it should push my stats up a lot," he said.
"Me too. I also have extra EXP stored since I was already close to level 100."
"Okay then, let's go and complete our rank promotion quests. After all, our three hours are already over," Mike said.
With that, they bid farewell after coming out of the dungeon and returned to their house.
Before coming out, Mike also upgraded the Shadow Grave skill to Unique rank and learned it and then stored his portion of Skeleton Grand Knights and Skeleton Archmages inside it.
Arriving back home, Mike went to his room and then sitting at the edge of his bed he opened his status screen.

[Rank-Up Quest]
[Difficulty: Normal]
[Task: Challenge and defeat a peak Rank 0 (Level 76-100) beast on your own]]
[Rewards:]
• All stats ×1.5
• Three class skills
• One random skill upgrade
• Talent upgrade (if applicable) ]
Mike looked at the Rank-Up Quest and nodded.
"Peak Rank 0…" he muttered. "That's easy."
He crossed his arms looking at the system and thought about it again.
"I wonder what would happen if I were to defeat a Rank 1 beast instead," he said quietly.
The system did not respond.
This quest had to be completed alone. No party members. No outside help. That meant he couldn't use Lily's undead or anything that relied on her mana.
Still, he wasn't helpless.
He could use his Mythical-rank Eldritch Lich, even if only for a few minutes. His mount was also strong enough to fight at Rank 1. On top of that, his own stats were already at the peak of Rank 0.
"If I plan it right, I can do it," Mike said.
Back in the Original World, Emperor had killed Rank 1 beasts just to eat them. Compared to that, this challenge wasn't impossible.
The real problem was mana.
The lich would drain him fast, and if the fight dragged on, he'd be in trouble. He would need to finish the battle quickly or save the summon for the final phase.
Mike closed the quest screen and stood up.
"First, I'll scout a suitable target," he said. "If it's too risky, I'll just kill a peak Rank 0 and be done with it."
