Chapter 4054: Nonsense

The echo manifestations of Drukovich immediately increased in number. Tens, hundreds, thousands! They were all invisible, though, still in sound form. Yet, they were there, and Drukovich could swap places with any of them!

’Rean, Roan, Celis, Sister Orb, take a look with me and tell me if I’m crazy.’ Kentucky looked at that, and he found it hard to determine how to attack Drukovich. He wasn’t worried, though. Instead, something else caught his attention. ’Are the Semi-Celestials really able to use Celestial Laws?’

Roan, who wasn’t paying attention until now, controlled the Celestial Soul Dimensional Realm to show what was happening around Kentucky. Naturally, Rean could see it through Roan’s memories, and Celis was inside the Dimensional Realm. ’What do you mean?’

Kentucky felt a presence behind him, and his body flashed again. Sure enough, he dodged an attack in his blind spot. Drukovich could swap places with those echoes, but he couldn’t hide the Spatial Disturbances that his cultivation caused. He doesn’t have the System Armor like the twins’ group does.

With his Natural Spatial Perception, Kentucky saw Drukovich disappear from one place and appear in another instantly. It was definitely much faster than when Kentucky first attacked him.

Yet, Kentucky was still unfazed. ’Did you see? He became faster, and I can’t even tell how many echoes he has spread everywhere around me. My Divine Sense is capturing so many. However, the very foundation of his laws hasn’t changed one bit. It’s just as if his laws became much stronger, but that’s about it.’

Roan paid close attention as Kentucky flashed everywhere. It didn’t matter if the echo was millimeters away from Kentucky’s body. The moment Drukovich swapped places, Kentucky moved even faster, changing position. Kentucky wasn’t doing it randomly either. He could really use that one tiny instant to make a decision and go somewhere else.

As Kentucky did that, Roan understood. ’So that’s what you are talking about. Yes, this is basically the first time we are able to see a Semi-Celestial using their true power and have the leisure to study it.’

’Oh!’ Rean also caught it. ’What the Semi-Celestials are forcing to come from the Celestial Plane is not Celestial Laws, it is Celestial Energy! The reason we always thought they were Celestial Laws was that the Semi-Celestials lose their comprehension of normal laws in exchange!’

’So I’m not really going crazy here, uh?’ Kentucky was happy he wasn’t wrong. ’The Celestial Energy can increase their overall power many times over, including the power of the Major Laws that they have comprehended. Also, if I’m not wrong, they aren’t really forgetting their comprehension of Major Laws. Instead, they are using their comprehension of the Major Laws as fuel to force the Celestial Energy to come down.’

[That’s impressive indeed.] Sister Orb was also able to analyse everything calmly for the first time. [Now that I think about it, how could the Semi-Celestials use Celestial Laws, right? You can’t comprehend Celestial Laws if your Cultivation isn’t at the Celestial Realm level. Even the name Semi-Celestial is nothing but a facade. Or Universe F956 and Rifindio’s Celestial Laws of Blood. Or the Golden Palace and those Celestial Realm Experts who watched the event together with Victor.’

Immediately, everyone made a comparison with what they were feeling from Drukovich. It was truly fortunate that Kentucky could keep himself safe and let everyone pay attention closely. You would never be able to convince a Semi-Celestial to use their ’Celestial Laws’ nonstop just so you could watch them. They would be paying a heavy price, after all.

’It is absolutely not the Celestial Laws. Only the energy feels the same.’ That was the conclusion they all reached at the same time. They now had examples to work with.

Yet, Roan looked away from that and lost interest. ’It was good we noticed, but it means nothing in the end. We aren’t trying to become Semi-Celestials anyway. I’m off.’

Celis followed. ’It was interesting, though. Well done, Kentucky.’

Kentucky agreed with them. Indeed, they found the truth behind it, but it changed nothing. ’I’m still curious why there are no mentions about it in the Werdlem Network.’

Rean shrugged. ’Maybe it is kept that way on purpose. Or maybe the Semi-Celestials truly believe they are using Celestial Laws. Last but not least, maybe, just maybe, we are wrong. Once again, it matters not. By the way, how much of your strength are you using now, Kentucky?’

For Kentucky to keep escaping like that and not attack back, he had to tap into his Sky Energy a little bit. ’I would say something around 30 to 35%. With Divine Origin Energy alone, I can’t use more than 20% of my strength. Divine Origin Energy is simply not good enough to bring out our Celestial Bodies’ Power. In fact, even our current Sky Energy can’t show everything we are capable of. After all, it is made with Divine Origin Energy.’

Of course, the efficiency with which Drukovich uses his Celestial Energy is probably not even 10% of what any Initial Stage Celestial Realm Expert can do. Had Kentucky faced a real Celestial Realm Expert, even if just an Initial Stage one, he would be forced to go all out, and it was hard to tell if he would win.

Rean knew why Sky Energy wasn’t enough. ’Sky Energy is still many times better than Divine Origin Energy alone. Rean’s mouth twitched. ’Fuck you! Just finish your battle already!’

’Hahaha!’ Kentucky laughed. ’Alright, let’s see if I can do something about this echo guy.’
