Death… And Me

Chapter 4126: Laiana Too

Chapter 4126: Laiana Too

If you looked into it, the various Primordial Demon Beasts that the twins' group found were in various situations. Hick had only his body imprisoned. Soltrex was sealed inside a structure made for him. Laiana had her soul sealed instead of her body. Xyrath had a formation trapping him inside his own pocket-dimensional realm due to his time plates. Default was imprisoned inside a Great Void Black Hole, and now, Nyxara had a mental prison that actually looked ridiculous to be called a prison at all.

That made Roan wonder if the others would all be held in other strange situations as well. Nonetheless, they would need to find more of them for it.

---

Arriving outside of the F956 Universe only took an instant. Going back inside, however, took a while. As Nyxara mentioned, she had a power similar to that of the twins, where she could leave marks in the void she could move back to in an instant. The F956 isn't just void, so she couldn't leave her mark there. They had to make their way back normally.

Of course, at their level, it wasn't anything that complicated. In just a few days, they already returned to the Glacial Corridor, and Nyxara took a lot of the seals with her. When asked just what kind of race they were, Nyxara shook her head. Those seals didn't really have a race name. Yet, over time, they ended up being known as Sealing Seals, as space was always sealed when they appeared, somehow.

Nyxara was the reason behind it. She shared a little of her bloodline with them countless generations ago. They still carried that tiny bit of the Hollow Sovereign's power.

With that resolved, the twins' group moved to the Mortal Realm of F956. Once again, they suppressed their cultivations to not cause problems there.

Laiana already received the twins' call and was ready when they arrived. She wasn't the only one there, though. Yuan hadn't seen the twins' group in ages, so he came and joined his subordinate, whom he had left to help Laiana with the Werdlem network. "Long time no see."

Rean smiled in response. "As expected of the Charybdis Bloodline, I guess? Even though we left this planet well over twenty or thirty thousand years ago, you are still alive. If you were human, you would have run out of lifespan already. It's been a while indeed. Anyway, I saw it with my Divine Sense while we were coming down to this planet. You became quite the big shot in your continent, not just your sea, didn't you?"

"Hehe!" Yuan was happy to hear that. "It was all thanks to you and Senior Laiana."

Rean looked to the side, seeing just an energy projection of a face that Laiana's power created. She couldn't help but ask. "Are you sure you can move me inside your Dimensional Realm? I'm truly quite big."

Rean confirmed. "Yes. I just need Senior to not fight the spatial pull, and your entire body should vanish inside the Dimensional Realm."

"That reminds me," Yuan intervened. "Senior Laiana, isn't it better to simply reduce your size? With your cultivation, you should be able to get smaller, no?"

Laiana sighed in response. "I told you before, didn't I? My cultivation method is different from most living beings. I cultivate bloodline, or you could say the power of blood. The size reduction or the humanoid transformation abilities are not something a creature like me can do. Remember, there is only one thing you can be certain of when talking about Primordial Demon Beasts: We are very different from each other. When I spoke about my cultivation, I was just making a comparison. I'm not really a Divinity or Celestial, you see?"

"However," she continued, "my size at the moment is indeed a lot smaller than when I was at my peak. But it was not because I changed it. Instead, my size depends on my overall power, or my bloodline cultivation level, if you will. Since I'm a lot weaker, I'm also a lot smaller. If I were at my peak, this entire planet wouldn't be enough to hold a tenth of my body."

"That big? Increaible..." Yuan nodded. "That must be quite annoying, no?"

Laiana shook her head. "Not really. I can still control my energy to complete the tasks I want, even if they are tiny and meticulous. I'm proud of what I am, and the fact that all bloodlines exist today because of me."

Rean approached one of Laiana's tentacles, touching it and sending his energy inside. It quickly spread throughout Laiana's massive body, spanning several hundred kilometers. "Are you ready, senior? I'm sending you inside."

"Just one second," Laiana stopped him. "Yuan, once I disappear, it will likely cause some huge reactions on the ocean floor, causing even tsunamis to reach the coastal settlements. Will you be able to deal with it?"

Yuan patted his chest. "I've already thought of it a long time ago, senior. Everything is ready for your departure. I just gave the excuse that, as the leader of the Saramina Sea Demon Palace, it was my duty to make sure the settlements and races that rely on my ocean were safe at all times. As for the explanation of the reason for everything that will happen, I'll just say I'm unaware of anything. No one will challenge my authority in this place anyway. Hahaha!"

Rean smiled at him. "From the coward Yuan of the past to the imposing Yuan of today. You truly changed."

"I hope it was for the better," Yuan answered.

"Definitely!" Laiana confirmed. "Alright, Rean. Just send me inside. I've been in this position, not moving at all, for too many years. It will be good to be able to have space to move as I like again."

Rean smiled, and a Spatial Pull immediately enveloped Laiana's entire body.

*Zush!*

*Rumble!*

As soon as she disappeared, the entire bottom of the ocean caved in an instant, several hundred kilometers of ocean underground, and countless liters of water went into free fall, filling what was once occupied by Laiana's entire body.

And, as expected, the floor caving with so much water caused many miritime reactions that had to be dealt with. Rean watched everything with his Divine Sense, which could cover the entire planet if he wanted. Yuan did a good job of preventing most of the big calamities, but some smaller places escaped his notice. Thus, Rean used his own power to stop those reactions from causing trouble at those places.

As everything happened, Rean and Yuan spent their time having a conversation. Yuan eventually asked if he couldn't go with them, but Rean refused. The twins' group truly had no intention of adding anyone else to their entourage at the moment. Even the Primordial Demon Beasts weren't really part of their group. Nonetheless, Yuan already had all the information to improve on his own, courtesy of both Laiana and Rean himself.

Finally, after everything settled down, Rean prepared to leave. "Alright, Yuan. Perhaps we will see each other again someday. But for that, you will have to improve enough to reach my level, and I believe you can do it."

Yuan nodded in confidence. "I'll get there. You'll see."

Rean laughed and released a little of his cultivation and Hick's boundary power. With that, he went straight back to Divinity Peak Stage in the Universe's eyes, and he was sent back to the Divine Realm by the Universe's power. Anything above Transition Level was too high for the Mortal Realm of F956.
