Chapter 4269: Test

The following days were pretty uneventful. The guides brought the twins’ group to the Godly Creatures inside the Sacred Relic’s Influence. There, they used the Yin Yang Sanctuary and took the groups down without much hassle. Naturally, they took all the Godly Crystals for themselves.

They only attacked a single group per day, though. Their excuse was the same as always. To take them down fast, they used too much energy, but that was to guarantee they wouldn’t fail. The guides and Woff accepted that without any complaints. The cleaning was going much faster than any of them expected, so why would they?

On the ninth day, they were brought to the southeast side of Area F17, where another group of Godly Creatures established themselves. This group was different from the others the twins’ group had dealt with, though. "Quite a lot of them there..."

The guides, who brought the twins to watch the godly creatures from a safe cliff above, agreed with them. "Yes. The groups of Godly Creatures remaining are all bigger. We brought you to the smaller groups first, but now you have managed to get rid of them all. Only groups like this or even bigger remained."

There was a total of 33 Godly Cratures, 29 of them were Godly Spawns, and the last 4 were all Godly Beasts. So far, the twins’ group had only had to deal with two Godly Beasts at once, so now it was double.

Well, Roan didn’t see much of a problem there. "Just because this is a group, it doesn’t mean we need to eliminate all of them at once. Let’s lure them and get rid of the creatures little by little."

"Will they separate?" Celis wondered. "After all, they gather together so their natural Godly Pressure can nullify the Sacred Relic’s influence."

"They will," Roan confirmed. "The smaller groups we met before already could do it, so this bigger group can also do it, even if it is split into various smaller groups. Anyway, let’s get to work."

Juanita couldn’t help but ask. "How are you going to lure them away?"

"We?" Roan looked at her, puzzled. "We won’t lure anything. The ones who are luring the beasts away are you three, the guides."

"WHAT?!" The guides took several steps back. "Are you crazy?!"

Roan shook his head in response. "Obviously not. Why are you acting all scared? All you need to do is run away, and the beasts will follow you. Haven’t you mentioned a hundred times already that you always have escape routes ready for us? Just use them."

"We do," Juanita confirmed, "but that doesn’t mean we will manage to run. It just increases our chances of survival."

Rean patted her shoulder. "Trust us, all three of you will be fine. Haven’t you seen what we can do until now? Why all the doubt?"

Juanita and the other two were definitely skeptical. Nonetheless, they couldn’t deny the twins’ group performance so far. Besides, they would be expected to help with everything necessary. They just got too used to simply watching as the twins’ group did all the work.

"O...Okay." They finally accepted. "What should we do?"

Little did they notice that Kentucky had circled around and was behind them now. "What else?"

*Vush!*

He flapped his wings, adding his Godly Energy, creating a huge gale that pushed the three guides forward. "Go down there and start running."

"Ahhhhh!" Those three were scared out of their minds. They quickly circulated their Godly Energies, accumulating them on their legs before they hit the ground.

*Bang, bang, bang!*

A cloud of dust was lifted as the sound of the three guides hitting the ground made all the Godly Creatures look in their direction.

*ROAR!*

"Fuck!" Juanita’s group had no other choice. They quickly turned to the side and began to run for their lives. The Godly Creatures, obviously, immediately started their pursuit.

From above, Roan watched it and nodded in satisfaction as he spoke loudly. "Hey, make sure you all run in the same direction. If you separate, then we might not be able to do anything."

Juanita and the others felt like crying already.

Then, Roan turned to Kentucky. "Protect them from the air, Kentucky. The rest of us will follow the plan."

Flying with one’s power was not possible, but Kentucky obviously had no need for such a thing. He could simply fly with his wings as any other flying bird. "Alright, I’m off."

Roland, the guide with the lowest cultivation at the initial stage of the Anchor God Realm, was falling behind little by little. The Godly Creatures were approaching him fast, and he felt like he wouldn’t be able to keep his distance for long.

Sure enough, it took less than a minute, and the first Godly Spawn pounced at him. ’I’m done for...’

Yet, before it could pierce its claws into Roland’s back...

*Ziu!*

*Puft!*

A Black and White feather fell from the sky, piercing right through the top of the Godly Spawn’s head. The Godly Spawn still had a high defense, especially since the sanctuary wasn’t activated, so Kentucky’s feather only pierced a few centimeters. Nonetheless, it was more than enough to stop it in its tracks, giving Roland a chance to get some distance again.

Roland looked to the skies and saw Kentucky smiling at him while speaking. "You’re doing great. With some luck, you might really survive this. This is an opportunity for you to push past your limits and train your resistance. Remember, if you think you are going to die, then you are doing it right."

Roland almost vomited blood. He had never asked to be trained.

Kentucky couldn’t really kill the Godly Spawns with that method, let alone the Godly Beasts. All he could do was use his Blade Feathers to make sure the Godly Creatures couldn’t catch Roland or the other two.

Meanwhile, from behind the Godly Creatures, three shadows struck the Godly Spawns that were falling the furthest behind.

’Energy Draining Prison!’

’Red Death, Soaring Dragon!’

’Red Life, Flame Emperor Sword!’

*Swish, swish, truach!*

Just like that, three Godly Spawns fell without being able to react at all.

Roan looked ahead, seeing the other Godly Creatures still pursuing the guides. "Good. Let’s keep going without the Yin Yang Sanctuary. It will be a good test."
