Chapter 4294: Coincidence?

Roan’s Godly Sense couldn’t go very far, at most one kilometer. That probably felt quite restrained compared to what they could see in the Great Void. Nonetheless, during that short moment of activation, Roan noticed a high concentration of Godly Energy coming from a different direction.

His Ring Communicator received a call. Without another choice, Roan willed for the call to be answered.

One might be wondering how there can be a call outside the Besgol Region since the network inside doesn’t go beyond the Sacred Relic’s Influence. The truth was that the call didn’t arrive from the network in the Besgol Region, but from the airplane Roan’s group used to come to this place.

"Don’t worry," Roan already began to move. "I’m adept at hiding, especially some of my skills. Even if they find me, I’m more than confident enough to escape. Let me go there. Fifteen minutes is enough."

Wurshan pondered a bit. He obviously wanted to know what the Carcatira Alligators were doing, since they were all in the same place. What are they protecting their nests from? -Alright. "That’s more than enough," Roan agreed with the terms.

Roan ended the call and activated his cultivation technique in reverse. That immediately caused him to release Godly Pressure from his body. Following that, he used Rean’s Body Transformation Technique to look like the alligators, although he was much smaller.

Just ten minutes, and Roan arrived in the area where you could find the Godly Beasts, and he took a vantage point from a high place... but the sight ahead wasn’t anything Roan was expecting. ’So many corpses...’

Yes, there were corpses everywhere, all from the Carcatira Alligators. The Godly Pressure Roan felt coming from this area was the residual energy coming from those bodies. Another thing Roan noticed was that all their heads had been split open, and their Godly Crystals were missing.

Roan stopped emitting Godly Pressure and stood up from his hiding point. There wasn’t a single beast alive there anymore. Roan jumped down and began to walk around, checking the injuries. "There has to be at least fifty Godly Beast corpses here..." Roan murmured to himself.

Roan was obviously careful as he checked the area. He could tell that the alligators were killed by some other beast, given the injuries they suffered. "From the marks, it seems to have been the same one too... A Godly Predator?"

That wasn’t anything rare. The twins’ group checked the network and knew that Godly Beasts also killed themselves for their Godly Crystals. They could increase their level by simply using Celestial Energy and Godly Pressure, but they also gained a lot from eating each other’s crystals.

Roan finally decided to call Wurshan again. This time, he also shared the images of what was happening in this place.

-Over fifty Godly Beast Corpses from Carcatira Alligators?- Wurshan was obviously impressed. Even if the Godly Crystals were missing, just the bone marrows would be worth a lot. -No.- Yet, Wurshan denied that possibility. -Godly Horrors won’t gain anything from eating Godly Beast Crystals. Sure, I won’t say it is impossible for it to be a Godly Horror, but if it were, it hasn’t killed them for the Godly Crystals, at least not for its own gain. It has to be a Godly Predator, although even they wouldn’t gain too much from Godly Crystals of Godly Beasts.-

Roan understood. "Very well. I’ll go back now."

"Hum?" Roan narrowed his eyes. The call suddenly ended. He used his mind with the Ring Communicator again, trying to call Wurshan. Unfortunately, he noticed that the airplane’s network signal had disappeared.

[Coincidence?] Sister Orb asked.

’Do you really believe it?’ Roan asked back with a sarcastic tone.
