Death… And Me

Chapter 4609: Not Normal

Chapter 4609: Not Normal

As Aurundi heard Roan say that, he also noticed a Spatial Ring in Roan’s hand. "Is that..."

Roan nodded, smiling coldly. "Obviously. This is Doluno’s Spatial Ring. Everything acquired during an Elite Exploration Mission is the property of the Elite Exploration Group. No taxes are charged."

Aurundi felt helpless. It seemed like dealing with the enemy wasn’t the twins’ group’s only objective. They also wanted to make a profit from it. Even worse, Aurundi had only been sent as a protector. He wasn’t part of the Elite Exploration Team, so he had no right to anything they acquired from this entire event. "I will never go out on an Elite Exploration with you bunch ever again."

Lukay was quite curious. "So... what exactly do you have in the Spatial Ring?"

Roan nodded, extending his hand and allowing everyone to take a look inside with their Celestial or Godly Senses.

First of all was the amount of Godly Crystals. Since the Natak Region had more Law Gods, and most of them were at higher stages than those from Besgol, that meant they could more easily deal with Godly Horrors.

Doluno himself was a Peak Stage Law God, one who was at the very limit of that cultivation realm and couldn’t gain anything anymore from extra Godly Energy. He required a breakthrough if he wanted to have any use for Godly Energy again other than in battle. Last but not least, he was the leader of the Natak Region. No one held a higher position than him, which came with quite a few good perks and resources.

There were a total of eleven Godly Horror Crystals inside. As for Godly Predator ones, there were almost two hundred. These were definitely his accumulation over hundreds of years. In fact, Doluno should have had much more than this, but he had used most of the extra resources he acquired in the administration of Natak. Of course, this was still a huge gain.

There were also several storage boxes containing rare materials. Some were valuable metals used for crafting weapons, while others were materials suitable for high-level arrays. Most of them were clearly things Doluno had collected during his explorations rather than items he had any immediate use for. Rean immediately became interested in both groups, already considering how they could be incorporated into future arrays and weapons for others.

Another box contained several special feathers, claws, and scales from Godly Creatures. They weren’t particularly useful to Doluno at his cultivation level, but some of them still contained various uses for lower-level cultivators.

There was also a small jade case containing many Celestial Stones. Although they weren’t especially valuable compared to the Godly Crystals, Doluno had apparently kept them as emergency resources for situations where using Godly Energy wasn’t necessary or where preserving his Godly Crystals was more important.

Another thing inside was the tablet with a faint image of a fox and a raven. Roan took it out, and anyone could tell that this was likely the very same item used to find Luxa and Lunelle.

Roan took it for a moment, pouring his Godly Energy into it. Immediately, the image of the fox and the raven lit up, although nothing else happened after that. Roan looked at Rean, and he nodded. Rean reached for Luxa, removing her collar for a moment.

Roan immediately tried it again, and sure enough, the tablet could now feel Luxa’s location. There was a faint line at the border of the tablet, and however Roan rotated the tablet, the line also moved, always pointing to where Luxa was in the airplane.

"Let me have it," Rean said, taking the tablet from Roan. "I want to give it a proper look when we get back to Besgol."

Roan didn’t mind, and his attention returned to the Spatial Ring.

Among the other belongings was a small jade slip containing records of several areas within the Grasslands. Of course, it wasn’t called Grasslands in the Jade Slip.

It wasn’t a cultivation technique or anything particularly valuable, but it contained notes about dangerous regions, known Godly Creature territories, and several places where Godly Crystals had previously been harvested during hunts. Doluno had apparently maintained it as a personal record over the years. Rean gave it a quick look before storing it away. Even if the information was old, it could still prove useful someday.

There were also a few pieces of equipment designed for exploration. A compact Celestial Pressure detector, several spare concealment talismans, and a damaged communication device were among them. None of them were particularly impressive by Rean’s standards, but they were all high-quality items made for surviving in dangerous areas of the Godly Creatures Territories.

Other than that, there was a token, which was likely related to the Natak Region and the power from which Doluno came, maybe a sect or something like that.

"Oh, I recognize that one," Aurundi suddenly said, pulling the token in his direction. "I’ve seen it during our conversations with Natak before the Woster events. This is the Thousand-Script Race Command Token. It proves Doluno’s identity and authority within Natak."

"He showed it to us during the call so everyone would be certain they were talking to the right person. Carrying something like this in Natak without being the Natak Region’s leader is considered a crime there."

"Is there any use for it?" Kentucky asked out of curiosity.

"Of course!" Aurundi confirmed. "We were talking about having proof of the Natak Region attack, right? Nothing will serve as better proof than this. I’ll keep it, if you guys don’t mind. It doesn’t have any other value, at least not here in Besgol."

Roan and the others nodded. "You are a Law God of our Besgol, so it is better for you to have it in your possession anyway. You can talk to Tobao and the others later about it."

"That’s the plan," Aurundi agreed.

There were also quite a few pills, which Roan only took a look at and showed a disgusted expression. He threw the pills to the others. "Do whatever you want with this shit."

Rean, Kentucky, and Celis also didn’t even look twice at the pills. For them, who were used to Roan’s pills, his actions spoke more about Natak’s pills than a thousand words.

Well, Lukay and Kachia definitely wouldn’t say no to them. They were still valuable... even if the twins’ group found them to be trash.

Then, Roan found a small vial of blood, although it was pretty much empty, except for a few drops. From the looks of it, most of the blood had been used recently. Roan then remembered the blob of blood that Doluno used, which gave him all that power.

Roan scraped the blood out of the vial, a total of three drops remaining. Doluno definitely used more than 99% of what was inside before. "I guess a good thing about the Thousand-Script Race is that their bloodline is pretty easy to recognize."

Indeed, a few runes appeared and disappeared from those drops. But above all, it had quite a strong presence.

"Doluno was a Peak Stage Law God..." Aurundi commented. "For him to use it and for it to boost his strength to such a degree... It must be from an expert above the Law God Realm, no?"

Rean agreed with him. "Most likely. We know that it is possible to reach the Region God, although they all leave at some point. This has to be the blood of a Region God Expert of the Thousand-Script Race, no doubt. In fact, I can feel a little of..."

Kentucky took from there. "Intent... Yeah, I can feel it too. It is at the Region God Realm that one is able to use Weapon Intents again, right? It is not possible before that. This has to be it."

Aurundi, Kachia, and Lukay looked at the twins’ group. "At least for the normal cultivators, that is."
