Chapter 6102, Upper Realm
Author: Silavin
*Bang!*
It took merely the time to brew tea before Yang Ji and Yang Xu heard something break apart. The sphere that was protecting them, had broken off, dissipating into the air like it had never existed,
Now, exposed to being wrapped in the palm of a gigantic hand, Yang Ji, Yang Xu and Yang Ling did not feel any discomfort. At the very least, the earlier pressure had completely disappeared, else Yang Ling might not have been able to breathe.
However, Yang Ji and Yang Xu still felt uneasy. It was not fear, but there was some odd sensation within them that they could not explain.
At the same time, when they looked around, through the small cracks within the fingers of the clenched palm, they could not even see where they came from. However, what they could see was something odd, something they had never seen before.
Though merely a glimpse, they could see gigantic figures walking about. They were by no means close to where the Twins were, but their sizes were imposing to the degree where Yang Ji even wondered how such beings came to existence. In fact, the fist they were in was tiny compared to them.
Then, close to these figures, there was some glowing mist… Yang Ji and Yang Xu could not really make out what those mists are, but they must be incomparably large, since they were comparable in size to those giants.
“Wait… Brother, aren’t they… Giant Spirit Gods?” Yang Xu’s question made Yang Ji stunned for a moment.
“Are you serious? But, didn’t our Mothers say that there were only two left? How are there so many of them here? And, aren’t they even bigger than what they had described them to be?” Yang Ji solemnly questioned, his brain racing and questions after questions kept appearing.
“But, Brother, didn’t they say that the ones we have met are all similar to infants? Maybe, these are adult Giant Spirit Gods? Maybe… maybe they came here after they’ve outgrown our place?” Yang Xu said with her mind also wondering about.
Meanwhile, Yang Ling, not really understanding the issue here, just commented with a, “Wow…”
Wu Lun soon walked up to them and spoke, “Finally. Breaking through that boundary is such a pain, especially one that is so guarded.”
Then, Wu Lun turned to look at those Giant Spirit Gods and commented, “Seems like this is the first time you are seeing these giants. But close your jaws and focus. They are none of your business. At least, you should not even consider making contact with any of them. Right now, we need to talk about more important matters before we reach the Upper Realm.”
“Upper Realm?” Yang Ji and Yang Xu were hearing this term for the first time. Then, they noticed that someone could finally bring up this mysterious topic.
“Precisely, the Upper Realm.” The Heavenly Demon Queen, who understood their thoughts, chose to speak at this moment. “The Restriction has been dissolved now that we stand beyond the boundary’s reach. At long last, we may confer regarding our next endeavor. I must caution you, however, that we will not entertain all inquiries you might wish to raise. Certain matters are destined to remain shrouded in discretion. Even so, it is of paramount importance that you comprehend the course of events which shall now unfold.”
Strangely, this time, Wu Lun cut in. “Well, what she said. But, I will be the one to explain things here. Not here.”
He eyed the Heavenly Demon Queen, as though hinting her to back down.
The Heavenly Demon Queen, seeing this, wondered what he had in mind. However, since they were already away from the Grand Array she had modified, and his True Body had gotten involved, he does indeed hold the advantage in this discussion.
Seeing her silence and taking that as an agreement, Wu Lun continued with one finger raised, “First off, everyone here will not be moving together. More specifically, the girls will be together while the boy is with me. Understood?”
“Wait. Why? I don’t want to be separated from my Brother.” Yang Xu was quick to raise an objection.
However, Wu Lun quickly shot her down. “It’s for your safety. First off, know that beings from the Lower Realm are not welcomed in the Upper Realm. To those from the Upper Realm, you people are no different from slaves. No, worse than slaves. Just mere resources. And the aura you three have will definitely be a problem with how weak you three are.”
“We aren’t weak.” Yang Ji rebutted but his rebuttal only made Wu Lun scoff in ridicule. “Oh yeah? Try manipulating a small bit of Space here, why don’t you? Think my words are worth farts?”
“Huh!?” Yang Ji immediately started trying to manipulate Space Principles. However, he sensed as if something was impeding him. It was as if a fish had suddenly been moved to land but still tried to swim. Nothing moved.
Wu Lun rolled his eyes. “The Dao of Space that you know is nothing but a mere distilled, simplified form of the True Dao of Space. Naturally, that means the Principles you are used to controlling will not be found outside of your Lower Realm world. So, do not be mistaken in thinking that you are still strong here. In the Upper Realm, all three of you are lower than ants there, understood?”
This made the children start to worry. However, Wu Lun added while turning to the Heavenly Demon Queen, “Of course, we will be making sure you two are kept alive. For her, it’s a matter of survival. For me, I need you alive to be useful.”
“But you still haven’t explained to us why we have to separate.” Yang Ji asked.
“Because, either one of you will be carrying the Lower Realm Aura on them. When we first met, I could see that you two are deeply intertwined, as though your existences are as one despite being two completely different people. To be able to even share one’s mastery in a Dao must mean that the power that connects you two eclipses that of that Dao. If I’m not mistaken, you must be the one that’s proficient in the True Dao of Unity.” Wu Lun turned towards Yang Xu.
However, Yang Xu just seemed confused by this statement. After all, she had never cultivated a True Dao before. This connection with her Brother was an innate gift, as if Heaven and Earth had blessed them with such abilities. They had never heard anyone explain it off as the power of a True Dao.
However, as if dispelling all her doubts, the Heavenly Demon Queen added, “Indeed, she is the primary vessel.”
Wu Lun gave a nod then added while looking at Yang Ji, “Man, that makes things so much simpler. We will have one of you hold both of your Lower Realm Aura.”
Yang Ji rolled his eyes at how obvious Wu Lun was being. “But how will we do that? We can do that with Qi, our thoughts, memories and even insights. But we don’t even know what this Lower Realm Aura is.”
“Set your mind at ease. No effort is required of you. I have already arranged all that is needed.” The Heavenly Demon Queen stated and she dived into Yang Ji.
Moments later, Yang Ji and Yang Xu felt something was off within them. However, they could not tell what it was. Yang Xu felt like she had lost a little part of herself, while Yang Ji felt like his body was facing slightly more pressure from the world. It was apparent to Wu Lun though, as he said, “How convenient. One is completely devoid of the aura now. Pills would never be as effective as this. Heck, even Arrays would not fully be able to seal it in front of a true expert’s eye. Still, for now, no one would be able to tell that she is from the Lower Realm. Maybe that’s why ‘she’ has chosen to go with you…”
The final part of Wu Lun’s statement seemed to wander off, but he quickly brought himself back. “At least, for now, your Sister will be a lot safer in the Upper Realm. Heck, she might even be able to join a proper Sect. Though, there might still be some issues…”
Wu Lun seems to purposefully cut off there, as if urging Yang Ji to question him.
“What else?”
Wu Lun clapped his hands together and quickly stated without missing a beat. “You see, since your Sisters are going to be together, it will be difficult to ensure the little one’s safety unless they join a strong Sect. But, at Yang Xu’s current cultivation realm, I doubt she will be able to join.”
Yang Ji’s eye twitched. “Then, what do you want us to do?”
Wu Lun wiggled his finger. “No no no. Not so much what I want you two to do. Rather, it is what I want you to do.”
Wu Lun paused for a moment, as if awaiting Yang Ji to hold his breath before speaking, “I want you to transfer all your cultivation to her.”
““What!?””
Not only Yang Ji, but Yang Xu and Yang Ling all reacted the same way.
They were about to go to an unknown place, and this youth before them expected Yang Ji to pass off all his cultivation to Yang Xu? If this was not ridiculous, then what was?
