Chapter 1412: Family Dinner

Before Li Luo secluded himself to absorb the pill, Tantai Lan had taken the time to organize a family dinner and invited even Li Qingpeng, Li Jinpan, Li Rouyun, and Ox Biaobiao. Li Luo, Jiang Qing'e, Li Fengyi, and Li Jingtao were also present.

The Bloodline of Heavenly Emperor Li was simply too large to fathom, and there were as many powers under its thumb as there were stars in the sky. Furthermore, there were many factions within those powers. Without Li Jingzhe, the Dragon's Fang Lineage's status and influence would decline and some of those minor powers could choose to side with the other lineages instead.

It was fortunate that Tantai Lan was there to maintain things.

Her decisive and strong demeanor coupled with her incredible Greater Transcendent Duke strength had utterly shocked people who were thinking of making a move. For example, the Gold Light Hall’s Hall Master Zhao Xuanming.

He was a nail inserted into the Dragon's Fang Lineage by the Dragon's Blood Lineage when Li Jingzhe was around. He possessed extraordinary ability and was highly motivated. As proof of his ability, he had become the leader of the four halls.

Li Qingpeng was too nice and didn't wish to confront Zhao Xuanming. Meanwhile, Li Jinpan had an explosive temperament and would often fight against Zhao Xuanming. Alas, he always found himself at a disadvantage and Li Jingzhe completely disregarded him, which left him extremely frustrated. Thus, seeing Zhao Xuanming suffering was comforting to him.

"I am not familiar with the matters of the Dragon's Fang Lineage, so I will need assistance from you two in the future." Tantai Lan gave a slight smile. She then turned towards Ox Biaobiao and Li Rouyun, who were sitting together, expressing their love for each other.

"Old Ox, your name is truly apt. You literally embody the saying of ‘an old ox eating tender grass.’ When we first came to the Dragon's Fang Lineage, Rouyin was still a young maiden." Tantai Lan poked fun at him. Li Rouyun felt a little cautious when facing Tantai Lan as she was now the Lineage Chief and even a Greater Transcendent Duke, having an extraordinary status.

Li Luo and Jiang Qing'e also smiled. The warm atmosphere had finally broken the heaviness that filled the mountain range. Everyone had a great time at the family dinner.

In the depths of Dragon's Fang Mountain was a lake that was as still as a mirror.

Tantai Lan, Li Luo, and Jiang Qing'e were there.
