Chapter 1775: Heavenly Emperors' Gather

The lady wore a gauze dress that seemed to have been weaved from butterfly molts. Her eyes resemble limpid autumn water, giving off a captivating charm. There was also a small mark at the corner of her eye, giving her a unique and bewitching appearance. She smiled sweetly as she slowly sized him up, her gaze lingering on his handsome face. Heavenly Emperor Ji of the Academic Federation clearly enjoyed eye candy.

Heavenly Emperor Jiang's smile was also warm, filled with unadulterated appreciation for Li Luo. Although he had been unable to set foot on the divine continents, he had carefully observed what had happened for the past ten years. There were two figures standing there with their hands behind their back, looking at the current generation of Heavenly Emperors. It was none other than Yan Changsheng and Su Ying.

Zhen Jie, Li Jun, and the others had long sensed the two Divine Fruit Heavenly Emperors from the Sacred Void Resonance Sect. They all clasped their hands in solemn greeting.

Yan Changsheng and Su Ying flickered over, but they did not approach Heavenly Emperor Jiang's group, instead moving towards Li Luo and his family. They then looked at Tantai Lan lovingly.

"Little Lan, you've grown up," said Su Ying with a warm smile on her gorgeous face.

"Uncle Changsheng, Aunt Ying!" Tantai Lan stepped forward, her eyes turning red. This was quite different from her usual, carefree temperament, but it also indicated how special these two were to her.

The people of the world had only ever seen the aloof and mighty version of Tantai Lan. However, to Yan Changsheng and Su Ying, what they saw was the abandoned and pitiful little girl of the past. They had rescued her and guided her when she was a child. Without them, she wouldn't have become the outstanding individual that the world knew today.

Thus, to Tantai Lan, Yan Changsheng and Su Ying were both her masters and her parents. When she had to leave, Yan Changsheng and Su Ying had informed her of the secrets surrounding the Spiritual Resonance Cave. She had taken it to heart, never even sharing it with Li Taixuan, Li Luo, or Jiang Qing'e, the three most important individuals in her life.

When they felt Tantai Lan's graceful temperament, Yan Changsheng and Su Ying were reminded of the young girl they had taken in decades ago. She was as resilient as wild weed; no matter what the world threw at her, she would always grit her teeth and face it with all she had.

When she first left the Spiritual Resonance Cave, Tantai Lan was merely a spirited and intelligent girl. On their reunion, she was a wife and a mother, maturing with elegance. Even Yan Changsheng's expression softened when he thought of this, a far cry from his usual sternness.

Su Ying, on the other hand, couldn't help but grab Tantai Lan's hand and lightly caress her face, beaming happily. "So the little girl we took in has become a Heavenly Emperor, eh?"

Tantai Lan opened her arms wide and hugged her, a sour sensation tingling in her nose. "I've thought of you two for years."

Su Ying patted her back, saying, "We've always been thinking about you as well, worried that something might have happened to you."

When the other Heavenly Emperors present saw this scene, they couldn't help but sigh in their hearts. No one could ever have imagined that the two elderly Divine Fruit Heavenly Emperors from the time of the Sacred Void Resonance Sect would actually have such a deep relationship with Tantai Lan. Clearly, she knew of their existence long ago but had kept them secret.
