Rebirth of the Heavenly Empress

Chapter 54

Chapter 54: Game Over!

On the other end of the transceiver, a man with a black coat draped over his shoulders narrowed his eyes.

He did not hesitate further and slightly lowered his eyes before replying in a deep voice. “Okay.”

However, he did not see the look of disbelief on his chauffeur’s face when he agreed to it. His chauffeur even took a few glances at him through the rearview mirror.

It was not until he saw that pair of icy-cold eyes that he confirmed that the person sitting behind him was indeed their Big Boss Yu, Young Master Yu.

“Go to the third intersection at Street 91.” Yu Shijin switched on his laptop again.

The chauffeur gave a look of bewilderment.

Although he knew that he should not be dwelling in such dire situations, he could not help but do so.

Yu Shijin had already made a name for himself when he was a teenager. Although he mainly worked within the country, he was vital in protecting the country and the International Association’s relationship. With that being said, he had commanded countless missions, and ever since had been famous for it.

His leadership skills and judgment skills were not one to be doubted of. Even the highest-ranking officer in the military had to listen to his commands when they were on missions.

How should he say it? It was almost habitual for everyone to listen to Yu Shijin’s commands.

Then again, Yu Shijin always found the best route for them to take in desperate situations.

With that being said, this was the first time someone commanded Yu Shijin instead of the other way round.

Yu Shijin actually calmly agreed to her commands, too.

As such, the chauffeur was struck dumb with amazement. Thinking about the female’s voice which he heard over the transceiver, she had purposely deepened her voice and spoke coldly. But she sounded a little cute.

Although he could tell that she was young, her tone was very assertive, and it had inexplicable confidence to it.

It was as though he was listening to Young Master Yu speaking. Her voice sent a chill down his spine and it was the type which he would never dare to disobey, just like that of Young Master Yu.

He really wanted to know who exactly was the one speaking on the transceiver.

However, before he could ask, the car had already reached Street 91.

They had already sealed Street 91 and thus, there wasn’t a single soul on it. The heavy and buff nature of the black limousine would usually be a challenge to most drivers when driving on narrow streets. However, since Yu Shijin had chosen him as his chauffeur, his driving skills naturally had to make the cut.

Yu Shijin saw five people running on Street 91 with a regular-looking van chasing behind them. He slightly narrowed his pitch-black eyes.

Su Huiqing was right. If they were to meet at the street junction, they probably would have already broken into a fight.

He reached out to press the transceiver. “The car won’t stop, so you only have two seconds to enter the car.”

With that said, he took out his gun and stared at the van driving towards them with his eyes slightly squinted. “I will cover for you guys.”

“Ok.” Those two syllables sounded as firm as usual.

Su Huiqing placed the transceiver down and calmly pointed her finger in two directions. “The three of you stand here. When the car turns in, the door will open and you guys have to enter the car within a second. Can you guys do it?”

She directed her last sentence at Gu Li.

Among the three of them, Yu Xiangyang and Qu Yan’s stamina had improved quite a bit, so it should not be too difficult for them to do it within a second if they wanted to test their limits.

The only person whom she was not familiar with was Gu Li.

Much to her surprise, Gu Li replied to her almost immediately and without hesitation. “Sure.”

“Very good.” Su Huiqing nodded her head. Chu Xuning passed the handheld transceiver to her, and she slightly raised her hand to say in a deep voice, “Get ready.”

Right when she shouted, “Go!”

‘Screech—’ The sound of the tires rubbing against the paved ground rang around.

The black car did not even slow down and did a difficult car drift in front of them.

The two doors at the back of the car opened and the three of them went in with a thud.

Despite this, the regular-looking van was almost about to crash into them. Chu Xuning did a flip and took out two daggers. ‘Peng! Peng!’ The street lamps on both sides of the road fell and blocked the van.

He then turned around and jumped into the half-opened car door. “Miss Su, come on!”

The street lamps could not block the regular-looking van at all, and instead, it directly trampled over it.

Inside the van, a golden-haired man was looking at his laptop and saw Chu Xuning and the others’ figures on his laptop screen. He reached out to type a few words, and after he did so, an infrared ray targeted the black car and their figures.

“Game over!” He gave a light chuckle and pressed a button on his keyboard. “Contact them and tell them we can deliver the goods soon.”

No one suspected his words. They had used this method to take down many enemies in the past, it seemed.

These few normal people were not an exception, of course.

However, the golden-haired man constricted his pupils in the next second.

He looked at the speed and agility of the figure in the video, and that alone stumped him. That definitely wasn’t something a normal person could pull off so easily.

Su Huiqing pushed Chu Xuning’s head into the car and reached out to grab the handle of the car door. At the same time, the black car did a turnabout.

Yu Shijin was initially sitting in the car steadily and thus had no idea what Su Huiqing was doing, but he suddenly opened the car door.

His expression looked very calm. Even though the person in the car behind them was only centimeters away from them, his expression remained unchanged.

He harshly pushed the door open with his slender fingers!

Yu Xiangyang, who was sitting at the back, gasped. He knew that Su Huiqing was still behind them and that she was opening the door, too.

But he did not tell anyone about it yet.

Just then, Su Huiqing grabbed onto the opening door and flipped to the roof of the car. She then bit into the handheld transceiver and reached out to catch the two poker cards that Yu Shijin threw towards her.

‘Pa! Pa!’

She accurately threw the poker cards at the front tires of the van, and it punctured a hole in them.

It was as though she had thrown two sharp blades and not two ordinary poker cards.

Two poker cards, two sounds. She did not waste any of the cards in her hands.

Su Huiqing’s accurate throwing skills stunned Chu Xuning, whom people knew was a genius sniper.

It was such a complicated scene, yet it all happened in a blink of an eye.

From Yu Shijin pushing the door open, throwing the cards to Su Huiqing flipping onto the top of the car, and exploding the tires… It was as though everything was planned.

Their cooperation was too good.

They did not interact with each other before and there wasn’t even an exchange of glances, but they seem as if they could predict each other’s movement.

The golden-haired man took off his earpiece in the van.

The subordinate standing beside him remained stumped for a while before he bent down and asked, “Should we track them down?”

“This is Green City, so let’s not blow things up.” The golden-haired man stared at his laptop screen.

Or rather, he was staring at the girl on the rooftop.

Black and white uniform… A face which was as beautiful as those seen on paintings…

When he looked over, the girl was retracting her hand back.

Sensing his curious gaze on her, the girl raised her head and looked into the camera with her pair of bright and pitch-black eyes.

It was a very laid back expression. They could also see a hint of indifference in her pitch-black eyes.

She took the handheld transceiver from her mouth and curled her thin lips up to form an icy smile.

“Game over,”

She said.
