The Chronicles of the Immortal God

Chapter 111: Generals

Chapter 111: Generals

“Hmm?” Wang Hao looked from the distance and saw an explosion ripping off a part of the Castle of the Solstice Kingdom. He stared at some of the raiders who were beside him.

“What the hell was that explosion? Did any of you set someone out to do such thing?” Wang Hao was confused by that explosion. He clearly remembered that he did not authorize such explosion to happen right now. As he was scratching his head, they saw a spy running towards them.

This spy was one of the maids in the Castle sent by the Raiders 5 years ago. She had secured her position, making it easy for her to navigate and observe its inside. Wang Hao knew that any information she sent now will be obviously related to the explosion they witnessed earlier.

“Bad news! Someone impersonated to be one of our members! That impostor strapped himself with explosive talismans and triggered an explosion amidst the Immortal God Sect Disciples! And before he exploded, he recited one of the principles of the Raiders.”

“An impostor pretending to be one of the Raiders? S**t!” Wang Hao obviously knew the motive of that impostor.

Those Immortal God Sect Disciples obviously were hesitating to participate in repelling the Raiders. Especially with their fellow disciple Wang Hao leading them.

But with that explosion, all of the Disciples will be pissed. And with them knowing that Wang Hao is the one leading the attack, they will associate the suicide bombing with him. They will not need any convincing anymore.

Wang Hao was sure that once they recovered, they will find him, and they will kill him.

“It’s either there is a mole in the Raiders, or someone wants you dead!” Eleanor muttered worriedly beside Wang Hao. She also managed to decipher the intent behind that fake attack.

But aside from being worried, Eleanor had a smug expression on her face. “Look, because you agitated the Raiders to attack before their boss breaks through, you-”

“Yeah yeah, I get it.” Wang Hao waved his hands dismissively. “I f***ked up okay? Now, more will want to kill me. If I just waited for their boss’ breakthrough, none of this could have happened right?”

“That’s what I have been telling you earlier.” Eleanor sighed. “I could not believe you managed to make all of the Raiders follow you to attack today.”

“Of course that’s because of my rousing speech!” Wang Hao proudly replied. “Do you want to hear it again?”

“Please no!” Eleanor covered her head with her hands. “That speech of yours earlier sounded really embarrassing and cheesy for me! I wonder how you managed to not laugh while doing that!”

“It’s the power of friendship.” Wang Hao said with a straight face.

“Ughh.” Eleanor trembled in shame when she heard that line. “Please stop.”

Before Wang Hao could torment Eleanor, a group of people approached him. Compared to the other Raiders, their auras were stronger.

When Wang Hao entered the Solstice Kingdom, he conducted some investigations about the rebels. His information said that they were all weak, with very few reaching the First and Second Stage.

But when he saw the sheer strength of their boss and their generals, he was surprised.

Why did a rebellion with people as strong as this hid their real strength?

Wang Hao knew that at this moment, he could only wait for the boss to come out to know the answer. As of now, he had to win the siege.

Wang Hao nodded slightly as he greeted the newcomers.

“So what do you want to talk about, Generals?”

Wang Hao’s eyes swept over the Generals before they could speak up.

There were six of them, with all of them at the Third Stage.

The one from the left end was a quiet woman. She wore glasses with long yellow hair reaching her waist. At her back was a massive machete stained with blood. Wang Hao found it hard to associate her timid behavior with such a scary-looking weapon.

The one beside her was small girl. She had jade green hair that reached her foot. She looked to be always grumpy, occasionally muttering darkly. She had an elongated crossbow on her back, with no visible arrows to see.

When Wang Hao met her earlier, he almost asked what a small child was doing here. But he managed to stop himself as the unkempt man whispered to him that she was 17 already.

The one beside the grumpy girl was a massive man. He was even taller than the boss, with his height easily reaching over 2 meters. His muscles were the most ripped among every muscular person that he saw. As for now, the weapon that Wang Hao could see was a bamboo sword slung on his back.

The next person made Wang Hao smile in delight. He gave this person a thumbs-up as he realized what he was. He knew that this person was just like him.

A perverted gentleman.

This guy had a sleazy look on his face as he wore a sly grin. He had a bright red hair that was cropped short into a spiky hairstyle. He seemed to have the most normal body amongst them. As for his weapon, Wang Hao could feel that his body was wrapped with multitudes of qi threads.

Wang Hao was surprised to see such fine qi threads. In terms of manipulating qi into threads, this guy was a real expert!

The fifth of the generals was violet-haired woman. She seemed to have the jolly disposition of Fang Yu and the innate ferocity of Tang Ya. She constantly flexed her knuckles as if she was itching for a fight. She seemed to have no weapon, but Wang Hao could feel that she practices a martial art that he knew.

It was the Twelve Essences Martial Arts!

Wang Hao was surprised to see someone practicing this martial art other than Fang Lin and Fang Yu. But under his inspection, he realized that the Twelve Essences Martial Art she was training on was actually incomplete.

She only managed to acquire only one of the mantra of the martial art. It was the mantra for the ‘Tiger’ Aspect.

That means she can only emulate the essence of a tiger-based creature. As for the other 11 essences? She had now way to emulate it. Fang Lin can do that because he had the complete version of the martial art.

But Wang Hao can also feel that the Tiger Essence she produced was of a really powerful beast! As of what is it, Wang Hao chose to not inquire any further.

The last of the Generals was a black-haired woman.

She wore black robes that draped over her slender body. Her body seemed to just have the right curves for someone her age. Wang Hao could see that her whole aura was restrained, like a sword inside its scabbard.

As for her weapon, she had a sword sheathed on her right waist. With the shape of its scabbard, Wang Hao realized that it was a sword that emphasized quick, precise cuts instead of cutting off body parts.

“She’s a hardcore assassin!” Wang Hao thought as he smiled at the black-haired woman.

Upon seeing Wang Hao looking at her, the woman just nodded back.

“.......”

As for their names, Wang Hao will just ask for it later.

The sleazy man stepped forward as he said,

“We are near the capital now, do you have any plans on besieging the castle? If not, I am afraid the boss will be really pissed. I would not want that!”

“Do not worry. I have a plan. But because of some circumstances, I had to revise it.”

“Was it because of that explosion by the impostor?” The back-haired woman said.

“Yes, that one.” But before Wang Hao could expound on his new plan, he felt multiple auras approaching them. Upon sensing the owner of the auras, he sighed as he reached for his talismans.

“The phase one of the plan starts now.”

All the Raiders tensed as they saw the newcomers. They wore robes with the symbol 田吉(Tian Ji) on their backs.

These people were clearly from the Skydome Family!

“Wang Hao, didn’t you say that you will make them unable to participate? Why are they here now!” Eleanor asked anxiously.

“Don’t worry, I’m going to make them unable to participate now.” Wang Hao smiled as he sensed more auras approaching.

These auras belong to the Immortal God Sect Disciples!

“This is going to be good!”
