Chapter 1161: You Spoil Them Too Much!!!

In the Castle’s library, specifically the Manga area, three red-haired heads were gathered in the corner, where there was a sofa, a rug, and a fireplace. The place was filled with manga, and books were scattered messily, a very comfortable and cozy place for anyone who just wanted to spend time having fun.

"Did you hear?"

"Hear what?"

"My mother joined the Empire’s project!!! And if she joins, that means there’s a greater chance that I’ll join too!"

"What!? Why didn’t I hear about this?"

Priscilla Penny Elderblood, the shameless copy of Pepper and Victor, has her mother’s enthusiasm and her father’s cunning.

"You don’t check the updates frequently, Sylvia." Rosemary Lavina Elderblood, daughter of Ruby and Victor, spoke.

"Who wastes time reading that? The session updates every second!" Sylvia Elderblood, daughter of Victor and Siena, grumbled.

"I read it," Rosemary said.

"Me too." Priscilla agreed.

"Nerds." Sylvia snorted.

"Stop being lazy, with our brains, we can read all of that in less than a minute." Rosemary snorted.

"Forget Sylvia’s laziness!!!" Priscilla interrupted.

"Hey, I’m not lazy!"

Ignoring Sylvia, she continued: "The important thing now is that my mother is on the project!!! And I will join." She finished seriously.

"Don’t ignore me!"

"... What are you going to do?" Rosemary narrowed her eyes.

"Join the project, of course!" Priscilla nodded, satisfied.

"Okay, and how are you going to do that?" She insisted.

Priscilla hesitated: "... I haven’t thought about that part yet, but I’ll get there."

"Don’t ignore me!" Sylvia growled. "And to begin with, Mother Velnorah, Mother Aline, Mother Ruby won’t let you participate."

"It’s not fair! Velina is also participating."

"Velina is ridiculously competent, and she has worked with Mother since she was little... Something you should be doing, Rose." Sylvia narrowed her eyes at her sister.

Rosemary just shrugged: "I don’t like scientific matters." It’s not that she was dumb, none of them were. After all, her biology was simply incompatible with being truly stupid, and even the most inattentive of their siblings could read a seriously complex scientific paper. They could understand such things instinctively, and they all had royal-level educations, an education that covered all fields. Their parents made sure to put their draconic brains to work, and everything after that was purely a matter of taste.

Unlike Ruby, who developed a taste for experiments and the more scientific side of things over time, Rosemary was a Ruby who did not need to go through all these difficulties and just enjoyed herself.

She preferred reading manga, watching anime and movies, and training rather than staying in a laboratory. Her minimum goal is to inherit one of the legions or become the commander of one. After all, every daughter’s desire was to help her father in the Empire in some way.

’Let the more complicated parts be left to the sisters who like it. I will do something else~’ This was Rosemary’s thought on the matter. With so many competent sisters, she did not feel any pressure or difficulty.

"Hmm, I have an idea."

"And that’s not a good idea," Sylvia snarked.

"Good people, follow my lead! I will join this project today!"

"... Priscilla, you don’t even know which project our mother is in, and if we don’t know, that means it is a very secret project. I highly doubt you will manage to join."

After all, the information bank only said Pepper joined a project but didn’t specify which one yet, and this database was exclusive to the royal family. If there was no information about the matter in the Empire’s database, that means whatever Pepper joined was being treated as an imperial secret. So if the daughters want to know about the matter, they need to go to one of the mothers who had authority to see this data.

Victor usually left most of the Imperial secrets for the daughters to read as a way to encourage them to participate more in the family business. At first glance, it may seem like a security risk to leave such valuable information in the hands of ’children’, but that wasn’t true. The most well-protected people in the Empire were the Imperial family, and every time one of his daughters went out into the outside world, she was accompanied by several Imperial Guards, and even some personal forces of Victor himself. Not to mention that, despite how they act together, outside they behave as they were taught to be: a true Imperial Princess.

Therefore, he does not care about them reading everything about the Empire, but there are still things they cannot see, things like Polaris, which was a trump card of the Empire. He hid it completely, and even most of his wives do not know about it. Only those involved in the project and the two Empresses knew.

When something was a trump card, the best thing was for fewer people to know so as not to risk the information leaking.

"...." Priscilla stopped walking when she realized that her sister was right.

"Fuee... What should I do?" She grumbled.

"Why don’t you forget this and try to join another project?" Sylvia suggested.

"No! If my mother joined, that means I am qualified too!" Priscilla refused to let the matter go.

"Well, we tried," Rosemary said and then returned to her reading.

Priscilla remained silent for a full ten minutes.

Sylvia approached Rosemary and commented quietly: "This is not a good sign."

"I know..."

When her hyperactive sister remained silent for so long, it meant that she was thinking deeply and using her brain to the maximum, a draconic brain that came integrated with her biology, a brain that made quantum computers look like sophisticated toys.

Another 20 minutes passed.

Rosemary and Sylvia were slowly breaking into a cold sweat, and soon they could no longer concentrate on their respective books.

"... I had an idea." A literal lightbulb rose above Priscilla’s head.

’I really want to know, but at the same time I don’t.’ Rosemary and Sylvia thought at the same time, their instincts telling them not to get involved in this, or it would end badly for them.

"I’ll be right back!"

"...." Looking at where their sister disappeared, the two redheads looked at each other.

"... What do we do?" Rosemary asked.

"I don’t know, but one thing is certain. This will end badly, right?" Sylvia spoke.

"Yes." Rosemary nodded. There was no doubt, and it was only a matter of time before things went wrong.

The two sighed, and soon after got up.

"Let’s follow her," Rosemary said.

"Yes."

If they hadn’t heard about the matter, they could have ignored what happened, but they’d participated in the conversation and knew that Priscilla would do something. As sisters, they would not leave their sister alone. That was not how this family worked.

Each one may have her own distinct or even problematic personality, but if there was something all the sisters had in common, it was that they were very close. Messing with one sister is like messing with all of them.

The two soon disappeared and followed Priscilla’s trail.

...

Victor’s personal room.

Victor, who was resting a little after the recent meeting he had- not that he needed to- but there were times when he just wanted to be alone and reflect on things. Usually he does this while watching a movie or playing video games. He deliberately left his body with the reflexes of a basic human to enjoy the experience. He stopped playing when he felt someone sneaking into the mothers’ area.

Using his powers, Victor smiled gently when he saw this scene of the sisters.

"Just for this display of sisterhood, I would already have let you enter the project, my daughter." Victor laughed lightly.

He kept watching to see what Priscilla would do, as she stealthily approached Pepper’s room in a completely black outfit, like a ninja. She approached the window and began whispering at high speed. Soon, hundreds of draconic runes began to be made.

"Oh? She is ingenious, so the time she spent standing still was to think of ways to get past the defenses of Pepper’s room, as expected of my daughter."

"Pepper is still using the old defenses. She must have been too lazy to update, huh..."

Normally, in Victor’s personal world, such protections were effectively useless. After all, no one could enter that place without his direct permission. But living in a family full of super beings with incredible senses could be inconvenient sometimes. So several girls made protections for privacy. The most protected place was the area where Victor and the wives lived.

After all, it was not uncommon for husband and wife to do physical activities that could not be shown to the daughters. And because they were so curious about everything, it was better to avoid that kind of situation.

It was exactly these barriers of Pepper’s that were being broken with the powers of draconic runes, which was an impressive feat for someone so young. Well, as young as a dragon god can be, she was older than several human generations together.

"Her fertile mind helps a lot in mastering runes, and she is at a very high level of mastery." Victor analyzed, satisfied.

’I should increase the defenses of the complex better. If my beautiful daughter can do this, it is very likely that others can too.’ If there was something Victor never underestimated, it was the talent and potential of his daughters; they were monsters.

If the Victor from the beginning, the one who had just become a vampire, faced any of them, he would lose miserably.

’Thinking about it, it is quite ironic, isn’t it? These girls were all born at the top of existence in terms of power, potential, and talent.’ He thought.

Because his daughters were so talented, Scathach never refused when one of them wanted to train, and she took the greatest pleasure in polishing these raw diamonds.

"Ah, she broke it."

Pepper entered her mother’s room stealthily, and it was at this moment that the two sisters arrived.

"Sister, what are you-."

"!!!" Priscilla almost had a heart attack. She quickly approached them and covered their mouths. "Do you want to scare me to death!?" She murmured furiously.

Sylvia and Rosemary looked at where they were and widened their eyes in disbelief, before quickly feeling a deep fear. If they were caught here, forget punishment, Anna would throw them directly into rehabilitation with Scathach! And that rehabilitation lasted a whole year!!!

After all, it was forbidden to invade the mothers’ personal room. If they asked permission from outside, there were no problems, but invade? The lightest punishment was only a harsh reprimand, and a more severe one would be staying with Scathach for training and rehabilitation, which means following a study and training schedule similar to what Victor had in the past, only in a much more elevated version because, as dragon goddesses, they can handle it.

The punishment depended completely on the mothers, and Pepper was generally very lenient as long as it wasn’t something very serious. They would usually leave with a light reprimand, but Pepper was not here! The one in charge of things currently was Anna! And she had no mercy.

"HMMHMMHMMHM!?" Rosemary spoke furiously. [Translation: Are you crazy!?]

"HMMHMMHMMHM!!!" Sylvia spoke furiously. [Translation: She is completely crazy!!!]
