Chapter 2500: Warning

Zeus academy.

Bloody Chariot stood in the middle of the devastation. The training grounds that he was extremely fond of.

Even though he didn’t like the academy realm as such, he did spend a fair share of time here and that was one of the only reasons he agreed to become the Grand elder of the academy.

Now, ever since Sam came, the name of his once great academy was tarnished, dragged through the mud and was shoved into the pile of feces of the worst animal one could ever think of.

Sam destroyed the lives of many students, killed even more, terrorized the students and even stole their opportunities. He made Zeus academy go through every single tribulation that he could think of.

But, never, not even in a million years did he expect that Sam would do something like this.

He destroyed the academy along with dozens of elders and hundreds of students. And he attacked them right in the heart of the academy.

Centuries of foundation was destroyed just like that. And he felt... so still.

He had a hard time comprehending this situation. Like.. have you ever imagined, the ant that was just roaming around your house, collecting that small grain or rice or a piece of sugar that you dropped, suddenly turned around and just destroyed the whole building you were in...

That’s how Bloody Chariot felt.

Sam was just like that ant. He was weak. Puny. Tiny. Almost ignorable if not for the fact, he was just stinging him once in a while.

But now, it just broke his home down....

Heron looked right next to Bloody Chariot. He was just short of crying. The academy, that stood tall for so many generations, in the hands of so many Deans... just crashed in his generation.

But ironically, he couldn’t even hate the guy that did this.

That’s right. He couldn’t bring himself to hate Sam. He hated the fact the academy was destroyed, but more than Sam, he was angrier at Zeus and the gods that brought Sam.

In the back of his mind... Sam felt like an artificial disaster, that was created by the gods.

Before he could talk to Bloody Chariot... he sensed an aura. Something so oppressive, suffocating, he never felt so powerless before.

"B...." Even before he could speak, he collapsed to his knees.

Bloody Chariot waved his hands... out of thin air, blood manifested around him and turned into a chariot. Something akin to a bloody ghost drove the chariot. Bloody Chariot rode on another bloody Chariot as he flew through the region.

The charge only stopped right in front of the Hub.

A lance appeared in his hands and he threw it without hesitation. He felt a prick in his soul. The soul contract started burning up. But he didn’t care.

All this while, this soul contract was the only thing that held him back. It wasn’t that he didn’t have a solution before. The price was a bit too steep for him to pay.

But now, damn that price.

He would tear his soul into two and destroy this place.

And that’s exactly what he did. Blood seeped out of his eyes, nose and ears. The part of the soul that was burning up because of the contract, was being torn apart from the rest of his soul.

This would set him back for at least thirty to forty years to recover. But he didn’t care.

The lance left his hand and charged at the hub.

He thought the hub’s defense systems would be triggered, but they didn’t. The lance tore through the hub’s gate, the walls and even the building. More than half of the hub’s building turned into dust. Most of the equipment inside was destroyed, but there was still no reaction.

The chariot charged forward and he razed the whole thing into ground.

Several figures soon appeared over the area. Deans and Grand elders of various academies. Some of them were injured and some of them were exhausted. But all of them were angry and wanted to do the same thing Bloody Chariot did.

But now, they knew they didn’t have a chance to vent their anger.

Bloody Chariot screamed and roared like a wild animal after almost everything related to the hub was destroyed. Nothing but dust and rubble remained there. But still, his rage and aura just invaded the whole area.

But that rampage stopped, when another figured appeared there.

Bloody Chariot and the rest of the group around there turned to look at him.

"You dare come here?"

"We told you to kill that abomination before. How dare you show up here?"

"You better hand him over."

Everyone went off. Ling Tian looked at these accusatory glances with indifference. His focus was mostly on the Bloody Chariot that’s going on a rampage.

"Where is he? Ling Tian. Where the hell is he?"

Bloody Chariot almost grunted out.

"I don’t know where he is. You have done enough. Just go back and calm down."

"You..." One of the elders was about to say something. But Ling Tian extended his hand. Some invisible force caught that guy by the throat and Ling Tian spoke every word with conviction.

"I didn’t come here out of guilt or remorse.

I came here to clear some things up.

First of all, if you guys have any intention to pressure the Gambler academy into giving up Sam. Think again.

Not only do we not know where that fellow is, even if we do, we are not giving in.

You better not think of trying to hold my students hostage. Because right now I called in every favor I could from our academy’s alumni and they all responded the way you imagine they respond.

They were only way more than eager to help out.

Right now, almost every academy except for Gambler academy suffered devastating losses.

Even your strategic powers like grand elders are injured. So, forget about fighting us on the equal grounds. Even if all the Olympian academies come together, you might not be a match for me and the Gambler academy.

So, forget about that as well.

And no matter what you do, Sam will not be expelled from the Gambler academy.
