Re-Birth of a Genius. Creator/Destroyer

Chapter 2562: Visitor

Chapter 2562: Visitor

Parth’s question caught Sam off guard.

That was the last thing he ever expected.

"You want to take me in as your student?"

"Yes."

"But why? We have barely known each for a few days. You have no idea what kind of person I am. Why would you want a student like me?"

"How many days does a person need to know about someone?

In these few days, I know that you are a person of great talent and potential. Yet, you are also the same man, who picked a fight everyone deemed impossible.

You made something that shouldn’t have happened at all, by going against the laws of nature, with your wits.

And most importantly, when I see, I don’t see a person who laments their position as an underdog. You are never a victim, you are never going to feel helpless and you are never going to feel weak, despite the fact.

A man with a wicked heart and crooked mind, wouldn’t be able to hold themselves in such an esteem. That alone is enough for me to consider you."

"What would you like to teach me? Your archery?"

"Everything. Everything that I know.

To be honest, I have a very selfish motive for doing this. For some reason, my instincts are telling me that I might not stay on this planet for too long. Maybe a decade or two, or maybe even a less. But I know my presence on this planet has become redundant.

Despite the seals placed on this planet, I am sure the fate would push me out of here. Before that happens, I want to fulfil, one of my duties... which is to become a teacher and pass on my learnings to next generation."

"But I don’t belong to your planet. Even if I came for conquest, I don’t plan on staying here for long. I would leave sooner or later."

"It doesn’t matter. You are my junior in the seniority of our cultivation. That’s all that matters. I am not going to force you. If you don’t want to be my student, then it is fine. You can take your time and make a decision."

"Thank you."

That’s all Sam could say.

To be honest, this is the first time, Sam couldn’t think of a reason to refuse a person’s teaching. Sam had been a part of quite a few institutions since he came to this world, but he never took a formal teacher.

He always had reasons. Most of them based on the teacher’s skill and character.

However, this time, he knew Parth is highly esteemed in both.

And when he saw the way Parth practiced his bow... Sam indeed wanted to learn it.

As he was thinking, Parth suddenly got a faint frown on his face.

"It seems like the guests I had been expecting arrived. Let’s go and greet them."

Sam was confused for a moment. Parth just picked him up and they reappeared at the village center within a fraction of the second.

At the village center, a group of people arrived. Some of them are familiar faces that Sam recognized and the others he wasn’t familiar with.

But he can guess who they are.

They are all the younger generation of the factions of Darkhan.

Sam even saw Atrocus who had a gloomy and depressed expression on his face. Seems like the previous defeat did give him a harsh reality check.

"You are right on time."

Parth muttered as he looked at the bunch.

They all bowed to him immediately.

"Greetings, Lord Parth."

"No need for the formalities. The exchange center is that way. You can go and check it."

They all nodded and left, but not without giving a sweeping glance at Sam.

"No matter how many times I come here... this place still feels so refreshing." One of the kids spoke. Among all of them, only he had a much more relaxed gait. The rest of them appeared reserved.

Sam remembered that guy. He was the one who stood right next to the man named Shin, who was also another powerhouse.

Sam and Parth followed slowly.

By the time kids are there, Yudhi already cleared the exchange center. He was waiting for them, along with Naka and Saha. Surprisingly, even Bloody Chariot was there.

He was actually scrolling through one of the systems, with his face darkening with every scroll.

"Welcome, kids. Go ahead and use it to your hearts content."

Yudhi, being the gentleman he is, welcomed these guys casually.

"Thank you, Uncle." That leisurely kid didn’t even show a hint of reservation and just entered.

He looked at Bloody Chariot up and down, sizing him up, before he picked another system.

The rest of the kids went in and started fiddling.

"They are testing this stuff?" Sam asked in amusement.

"Yes, despite the agreement, they are skeptical about how your exchange system works. Based on this they will decide, where you can build the system within their territory."

"Then, why were you not skeptical about it? You just let me build one right next to your home?"

"I am a Demi God Sam. If I can’t risk something as trivial as location of a system like this, in my own backyard, particularly when it is built by someone so weaker than me...

No matter what the risk it could pose, I should be able to overcome it. If it still happens, then I truly deserve it.

What’s the point of craving and begging for godhood, if you can’t have the dignity and courage of one and just whine in your cowardice?"

Parth didn’t hold back when he spoke.

His words were loud and clear. All the people present heard them. The kids who heard their seniors being called cowards right in front of them... felt the second hand embarrassment burning up their faces.

But they acted like they didn’t even hear it and just checked the system.

Once they did... within fifteen minutes the real action began.
