Eternal Cultivation of Alchemy

Chapter 3659: Considerations

Chapter 3659: Considerations

About a year later, a news spread throughout the entire Sky God’s palace like wildfire.

Newhorn, one of the earliest disciples of the Sky God, had managed to nearly double her cultivation speed overnight. The news had been verified and thus spread around the palace as a source of motivation for others to strive for it as well.

Upon learning that it had happened after following the instructions she had been provided during the test everyone was made to go through, they all began to make progress toward the necessary changes. Those who had been slacking off on providing their information finally were forced to act on it.

Within a few weeks, Alex was neck-deep in work, unable to make time for himself for a single moment. There were hundreds of thousands of soldiers under the Sky God who were eligible for this test, so Alex had to go through as many as he could. Some he had to visit in person and help, and that took a lot of time.

On average, Alex could only go through a few hundred different tests every week, so it would easily take him close to a decade to complete it all, assuming he did not wish to stop in the process.

The Sky God came to check on the situation just once before returning. Unlike the others, she only had a single spirit root, so there was no need for her to improve anything at all.

Alex worked diligently for three years, at which point Ronron left his Soul Space for the first time as she had finally reached the Immortal Origin realm. When she first got out and learned that only three years had passed since she went into his Soul Space, Ronron could not believe her ears at all.

"But... but I thought it had already been over 60 years," she said.

Between cultivation and resting, a lot of time had passed for Ronron inside his Soul Space, something which she hadn’t experienced for a long time now. And that all being just three actual years caught her off guard.

Alex handed her the Provenance Duality: Evolved Division technique before sending her away.

Ronron wanted to spend her time with the family for a short while before returning to cultivation as soon as she could.

Alex had to soon begin thinking of ideas for what all of their new Creations could be.

In the case of Ronron, one of her Creations was confirmed due to the Sky God. So Alex would have to get some ideas for the other ones. Liz had something similar in the Time Reversing aura. And then his mother was likely going to use the same artifact from before.

Depending on how many times they managed to split their origins, he would have to come up with just an extra or up to three extra options for their Creation.

Thankfully, there was still plenty of time before that became an issue.

He did have a few of them planned already, such as Memory being a valuable Creation for his mother. He also had exactly three Primordial corpses or parts of a corpse with him that they could use.

The Three-legged Crow’s corpse was intact and was easily the best option for anyone who wanted to hold a Primordial’s body as their Creation.

The second item Alex had was the Guardian Tiger’s arm, which Pearl had now fully turned into a Creation. The only thing he wanted out of the hand now was to use it for something else. Before doing that, Alex was ready to let any one of his family make use of it.

Finally, Alex also had the Flood Dragon’s scale, gifted to him by the Rulers of the First Scar back in the Twin Scar realm.

Compared to anything else he had, Alex would encourage his family members to make use of those items in particular more than anything. It would be near impossible to find anything that was better.

Ronron’s appearance caused the Sky God to come meet him again as well. She sat in the hall where Alex silently worked, at first doing nothing but simply watching him do his job.

Alex looked into the talismans he was given, made a quick assessment of the situation inside that particular person’s body, and wrote exactly what would be necessary for them.

As he put down the talisman and picked up another one, the Sky God interjected with her comment.

"How is it going?" she asked. "This isn’t difficult, is it?"

"Tedious, maybe," Alex said. "But it’s not difficult. I can keep going."

The Sky God nodded. "Do you know how many you’ve done by now?"

Alex shook his head. "I lost count ages ago in the mid-500s. And no doubt I’ve crossed 50 thousand by now, if not way more."

"Maybe," the Sky God said. "So, how are things coming along? Anything interesting happen yet?"

"None that I am aware of," Alex said as he turned toward her. "The only thing special I’ve seen is a soldier with a mutated Water root that was affected by Yang. Poor guy has no recourse but to eat Yin cultivation pills to counteract the Yang in his Water root."

"Hmm? That’s certainly strange."

"It is," Alex said, looking back at the talisman. "As for who is most likely to gain the most improvement, it is probably Reverend Newhorn. And I believe she’s already gained all she can."

The Sky God nodded. "That is what has happened."

Alex focused on the talisman, writing down succinct set of answers to fix the man’s situation. Then, he looked back toward the Sky God.

"May I ask what you are doing here?" he asked. "I keep hoping you will let me know, but you haven’t really broached any topic at all."

The Sky God’s eyebrows raised. "What? Can I not come see how you’re doing without some other intentions?"

Alex shrugged. "I would certainly be surprised if you just came to talk and nothing else."

The Sky God chuckled slightly. "I suppose that is true," she said. "After all, I came here to give you your reward."
