Eternal Cultivation of Alchemy

Chapter 3837: Catch Up

Chapter 3837: Catch Up

Alex walked beside his aunt.

"You divined through the Void, right?" he asked. "As far as I understand, prophecies mostly only exist when the future is viewed through the Void."

"That’s not entirely true, since Divining through heaven also gives you prophecies. But yes, I did Divine using the Void instead of connecting to heaven. I’m not nearly good enough to do that consistently, and I couldn’t take the chance," she said.

Alex nodded slowly. "I wish you had actually seen what was going to happen," he said. "That would’ve made things a lot easier."

"I wish that too, but I can’t," Liz said with a sigh. "I would not have even known that I had Divined about the War God if I had been left to my own devices."

Alex couldn’t argue with that.

"I’m sure you’ll get better. As senior said, your wording of things will get better with time, and you will be able to make prophecies much more accurately as well."

Liz nodded. "I hope so too."

The Divination God separated from them halfway through, leaving Alex and Liz alone to return to their courtyard. They were, of course, not alone. Sunflare still followed Alex. However, he kept enough distance to give Alex some space.

Upon returning to the courtyard, Alex decided that he wasn’t going to cultivate. With the War God coming any day now, he didn’t really want to spend his time cultivating. It had been a while since he had spent some time with his family anyway, so he chose to do so.

Alex caught up on what was happening around the place. At the moment, his father, mother, Liz, and Scarlet were outside of his Soul Space, in addition to the husband-wife duo of older Alex and Emily.

Those two hadn’t entered his Soul Space in such a long time that they were no doubt longing for it. However, in order to learn a Dao, they had to stay outside. The older Alex had already learned the Dao of Wood and thus could go into Alex’s Soul Space, but for the sake of his wife, he remained outside.

His father and mother were focused on their cultivation as well.

Graham was so close to reaching the Immortal realm that they both decided to remain outside and see how things went. It was a guarantee at this point that he would be going through a tribulation, so he was preparing for that more than anything.

He wasn’t worried about the lightning bolts themselves, but the Inner Demon that came haunting just before them. So long as his heart was in the right place before it came, he would be able to break through safely.

Helen was cultivating continuously as well, keeping her 4 Origins active while pushing forward to the next realm. She was close to breaking through to the Immortal Origin 6th realm now. Liz lagged a lot behind because of her other training and was still at the Immortal Origin 4th realm.

Unsurprisingly, among the group that was outside, Scarlet had the highest cultivation base. She had trained more than all but a single person in the past few decades of her own time, which had pushed her to the end of the Immortal Transcendent 7th realm, close to reaching the Immortal Transcendent 8th realm.

She was also done with filling her Origins, so all that remained was to cultivate.

"Where’s sister?" Alex asked, searching around the courtyard. "I haven’t seen her in a while."

"She and young Huan left a few months ago to go on a tour of the realm," Liz said. "She won’t get free time like this for quite some time, so she’s making the best of the opportunity."

Alex nodded slowly. "Well, considering how much she’s worked these past few centuries, she deserves a long break."

He closed his eyes and looked through his Soul Space. The only ones there right now were Whisker and Pearl. Battlesage had left the palace some time ago once again.

He would have to ask that man to return sometime soon. After what happened earlier this month within his Soul Space, he needed the man’s help to make sure nothing had gone wrong.

Alex trusted Whisker’s work too, but the old man was just so much better at this than anyone else.

Thinking about Whisker, Alex went through his Soul Space and found the mouse.

Whisker hadn’t cultivated as frequently as anyone else, and even so, his cultivation base had massively improved over the past few years. He was now in the Immortal Transcendent 5th realm, just a step behind Alex, with a majority of his Origins already filled.

He only had two, and while he had fully absorbed the beast core of the Nine-tailed Fox, his second Origin was yet to be fully filled. He had reached as far as he did in spite of his weak talent.

And finally, Alex’s attention moved toward Pearl.

There was still the technique he needed to prepare for Pearl, along with finding him a spear. He had promised those two things, which would take him some more time.

Pearl was the fastest cultivator among all those who cultivated inside the Soul Space. In these past few years, he had managed to reach the Immortal Transcendent 9th realm, making him the person with the highest Qi cultivation in the group.

With his Battle Power of 7, along with a Battle Power of 10 when the mark on his forehead came alive, he could compete against anyone not using Divine Qi to a certain degree. He had grown just that strong.

At this point, the thing stopping him from advancing to the Immortal Spirit realm was the fact that his Origins hadn’t created a Spirit yet. So, Pearl had to continue cultivating for as long as he could in order to hopefully form a single Spirit.

Once that happened, he could push into the next realm as well.

Alex wondered how long it would take before someone in his immediate group finally reached the last major realm before Divinity.
