"World Decree?" I murmured as I took the scroll from the bearded demigod. I had no intention of signing it, yet I couldn’t help but be captivated by it. The scroll radiated a level of authority far beyond anything a mere card demigod—one who hadn’t even broken past the chivalry-class—should possess, let alone channel through an item. It seemed I had once again underestimated card apprentices, just like any other demon or devil merchant who dared to the card world.

My primordial soul pupils revealed that the scroll contained only a single ability—Celestial Voice. But its execution was far more sophisticated than anything I had achieved with my own Celestial Voice. The scroll could directly whisper the words recorded in it into the ears of the Card World’s Will, i.e. the Card Celestial. Until this moment, I hadn’t even known to wield my celestial voice to that level. Then again, I was still little more than a novice when it came to wielding my celestial senses.

Yet of all the questions swirling in my mind, the one that troubled me most was this: why would the Card Celestial heed the wishes of card apprentices conveyed through a World Decree. I took this question personally because it had ignored my own calls.

The World Decree functioned more like a letter to the celestial—whether the Card Celestial chose to act on it was ultimately its decision. But judging by how the Masters were willing to use such a measure to enslave me, they clearly believed the Card Celestial would honor it.

"Wyatt—" Jill called out in shock when she saw me take the world decree, but her voice was abruptly cut short. An unseen pressure wrapped around her, choking off her words. She traced the force to its source and shot a sharp glare at the bearded demigod, who offered a cold, passive-aggressive warning, "Your Highness, this doesn’t concern you. Please stay out of this—"

"...like hell it doesn’t—"

The bearded demigod halted mid-sentence as a dangerous surge of power tore apart his hold on Jill, freeing her voice in an instant. Both he and Jill turned toward me, disbelief etched across their faces. Neither could comprehend the force now pouring off me, it was no mere card master’s aura, but something already eclipsing the strength of most demigods.

After emerging from the time vestige, the Hive Spirit had already combed through the inter-realm network and replenished the SSS-rank curses in my arsenal. The moment I sensed them restored, a subtle but welcome feeling of security settled over me—an assurance in a region teeming with enemies on every side.

"I take it you’re the best those so-called ’Masters’ of yours were willing to spare," I said, drifting toward the bearded demigod. I stopped only when our faces were inches apart, close enough for him to feel my breath. Then, with a casual slap to both his cheeks, I added, "Behave. Or I won’t mind sending you and your friends to your deaths a few minutes sooner."

The bearded demigod tried to swat my hand away, but his body refused to respond under the pressure I exerted. His partner—lurking within the shadows—attempted to come to his aid, only to freeze the moment our eyes met. When he caught sight of my grin, he instantly shifted his gaze toward the array core concealed behind him in the array’s shadow and broke into a cold sweat.

Sensing his partner’s distress, the bearded demigod dropped to his knees mid-air and bowed to Jill. "Your Highness, please forgive my insolence. I did not know any better."

Meanwhile, his shadow-bound companion used his shadow-rule prowess to relocate the array core, hoping the distraction caused by his colleague’s behavior would let him hide it once more. But with my primordial soul pupils, I immediately tracked where he shifted it within the array’s darkness.

As my gaze followed him unerringly—no matter what trick he attempted—both the bearded demigod and his hidden partner began to panic. They had no idea how to proceed. Their instructions had been simple: recruit me using the World decree, and act only if they failed to do so.

However, before they could receive any response from me, the situation unraveled faster than either of them could manage. My strength caught them off guard, they had never anticipated that my presence alone would be enough to freeze their bodies in fear.

Now they found themselves trapped in a dilemma—whether to attack or hold back. After all, I had not yet rejected their offer. By accepting the World Decree into my hand, I had implicitly shown that I was at least considering their proposal.

They dared not give me any reason to refuse it. Their Masters valued me—and what I possessed—far too highly. Even as a slave bound to them, I would still outrank these guys by a wide margin. Offending someone who might soon be their superior was the last thing they wanted.

So they clung to the hope that this encounter would reach a peaceful conclusion, praying this matter wouldn’t escalate beyond their control anymore.

"Let us all have a proper talk without this array getting in the way, shall we?" I said, activating my ’If You See Me, I See You’ ability. My curse clone slipped into the shadow where the demigod was hiding, crossed through the array’s veil, seized the core, and vanished—reappearing as I withdrew, the array core now resting in my hand.

With my Hive Spirit and Primordial Spirit acting in tandem, I took control of the temporal separation array formation the moment I touched its core—hacking into it before the hostile demigods could even register what had happened.

But I did not use it to dismantle the formation. Instead, I twisted its flow, manipulating the array’s temporal field while channeling my space rule and celestial force to manifest a massive black hole at its center.

The instant the black hole formed, the surrounding time collapsed into a sluggish crawl. The demigods hiding in the accelerated time stream were forced out into the open, along with the one lurking in the array’s shadow. And then, with a silent pull, the black hole consumed the array entirely. It collapsed and evaporated from the world as if it had never existed.
