Chapter 3155: Divining The Perfect Coordinates To Realm Of True Evil

Chapter 3155: Divining The Perfect Coordinates To Realm Of True Evil

Date: Unspecified

Time: Unspecified

Location: Myriad Realms, Azorheim, Temporal Cave Valley, Temporal Cave No. ES3030

Even though I reluctantly came to an agreement regarding the toll fee for entering the Realm of True Evil, I still had one major problem to solve.

Where exactly was I supposed to teleport?

Knowing the realm was one thing. Knowing where inside that realm I could safely appear was an entirely different matter.

With no logical way for me to determine which location would be suitable, I decided to rely on something far less conventional.

My Ruler-class Curse, Causality Certainty.

But I wouldn’t be relying on it alone.

I returned to the Card World and met up with Clown Mask and Karl. Their Eye of Fortune and Eye of Prosperity were useless outside the bounds of the Card World, which was precisely why I had to come back here before attempting the divination.

Once the three of us were gathered, we began working with Hive Spirit.

Our objective wasn’t simply to determine a coordinate where I wouldn’t immediately die.

That was only the first requirement.

We wanted a coordinate that satisfied three conditions: a relatively safe arrival, a high probability of successfully accomplishing what I was going there to do, and the possibility of obtaining a sufficiently valuable harvest to make the entire expedition worthwhile.

After all, there was little point in finding a safe location if I ended up in the middle of nowhere with nothing of value around me. Likewise, discovering a resource-rich location meant nothing if teleporting there had a high chance of placing me directly into the jaws of some True Evil creature.

The divination therefore became considerably more complicated.

We began by examining different possibilities and divining the outcomes associated with them. Then we combined those scenarios with one another, comparing how the results changed when different coordinates, circumstances, and objectives were taken into consideration.

Causality Certainty allowed me to probe the causal possibilities surrounding each choice. The Eye of Fortune and Eye of Prosperity added their own perspectives, helping us judge the success rate associated with the various outcomes and the likelihood of obtaining something valuable from them.

None of that produced a simple answer. Instead, it produced an enormous amount of information. Fortunately, that was where Hive Spirit became invaluable.

Every result was recorded and categorized. Every coordinate was compared against the others. The results of individual divinations were tabulated, then the combinations of those results were analyzed again. Hive Spirit continuously processed the possibilities, removing coordinates that repeatedly produced unfavorable outcomes while preserving those that consistently appeared in the more desirable scenarios.

The process was tedious.

It was also necessary.

We weren’t looking for one miraculous coordinate that guaranteed everything would go perfectly. Such a thing would have been ridiculous to expect from divination.

We were looking for probabilities.

Eventually, after going through countless scenarios and their combinations, we managed to compile a list of coordinates that repeatedly produced favorable results.

They had a relatively high probability of allowing me to teleport there safely. They had a comparatively higher chance of allowing me to accomplish my objective. And, most importantly, the divinations suggested that these locations offered a better chance of obtaining a worthwhile harvest from the Realm of True Evil.

I had set out to find one safe coordinate. Instead, I ended up with a list of them. That was certainly more convenient. What didn’t surprise me, however, was discovering that not a single coordinate I had obtained from the Infinity Library appeared on the final list.

It only reinforced my suspicion about those coordinates. Whatever information had been recorded in the Infinity Library might have been accurate when it was written, but that didn’t mean those locations remained safe after countless years.

The realm had continued changing. The True Evil had continued multiplying. The ecosystem had continued evolving. And the coordinates had remained nothing more than coordinates documented at a particular point in time.

Still, I couldn’t treat the results of our divination as absolute truth either.

Divination was divination. It could be right. It could be wrong. Even Causality Certainty couldn’t magically turn a prediction into an established fact.

That said, considering the number of methods we had combined and the sheer amount of information Hive Spirit had processed, I was willing to place considerably more confidence in these results than I would have placed in some ancient coordinates copied from a record whose age I couldn’t even determine.

Of course, using these coordinates still amounted to gambling with my life.

The Realm of True Evil wasn’t somewhere I could afford to make a mistake. A bad teleportation could place me in an environment that I couldn’t survive. A supposedly safe location could have become dangerous long before I arrived. Even a favorable divination could fail to account for some completely unexpected variable.

But I had no better option.

If I wanted to obtain a complete corpse of a True Evil without spending a fortune on the Inter-Realm market, I had to enter their realm myself.

Buying one would be safer.

It would also potentially cost me enough money to make my recent expenditures on the New Empire look like pocket change. I wasn’t willing to bankrupt myself for a single corpse, that too incomplete.

Therefore, I had to take the risk.

With everything prepared, I selected the first coordinate on our list and activated the Devil Merchant Code’s Inter-Realm Transportation Function.

The familiar power of the Demon Merchant Code enveloped me as the spatial coordinates locked into place.

I didn’t know what awaited me on the other side.

I didn’t know whether I would arrive in an empty wilderness, an established ecosystem, a resource-rich region, or directly within the territory of something that could kill me before I even understood what was happening.

All I could do was trust our calculations.

And prepare for anything.

The next moment, space twisted around me, and I was transported toward the first coordinate listed.

I braced myself for whatever awaited me on the other side.
