"You know the drill." The storekeeper said.

Huang Yang and Miao Ceifeng said. It was not Huang Yang’s first time coming here, but it was for Miao Ceifeng. Well, she wanted to follow Huang Yang to see the transaction itself.

"Come in and sit down." The scarred man also took his seat.

The couple sat down and faced the scarred man.

"Take out the item. I need to examine it first." The scarred man said.

"Okay." Huang Yang nodded. He then urged his wife to take out the items.

Miao Ceifeng took out the items and placed them on the table in front of them.

The scarred man saw the items and was surprised. He took the necklace and examined it. Then, he took out the loupe and examined the diamond on the necklace. He placed the necklace back on the table. His expressionless face made the couple think that the necklace was not real. The scarred man took the brooch and examined it. He also did the same to the brooch.

"It’s real. So, how much do you want?" The scarred man asked.

The couple was relieved as they heard the question.

"4 million." Miao Ceifeng said.

"Your face is so big." The scarred man said.

Huang Yang immediately apologised and returned the question to the scarred man. "I am sorry. My wife does not know much. Brother, how much can I get from these two items?"

"3 million." The scarred man stated.

"I agree." Huang Yang said.

Miao Ceifeng wanted to protest, but Huang Yang shook his head at Miao Ceifeng. Seeing this expression on her husband, Miao Ceifeng shut her mouth.

"Great. I will write the cheque." The scarred man said.

"Hmm... Brother, can you prepare the cash for us? We don’t need the cheque." Huang Yang said.

The scarred man paused for a moment and nodded. "Fine. I will grant your wish. But you need to wait for two hours. I have to prepare the cash first."

"We don’t mind waiting." Miao Ceifeng said.

The scarred man nodded and stood up. He disappeared into one of the rooms.

"Husband, this necklace alone is worth 3 million." Miao Ciefeng said.

"I know. I know. But you should know that we should be grateful that we can still get 3 million because others will not dare to take them from our hands. We might be caught by others. 3 million is already a lot for us." Huang Yang comforted his wife.

Hearing her husband’s explanation, Miao Ceifeng took the words and thought about them. What her husband said was true. If they went to a normal jewellery store, they would not be able to work there. So, they were calmly waiting for their cash.

After two hours, the scarred man finally appeared again. This time, he was with 2 men carrying 2 bags each.

"Here is your cash. However, you need to sign this contract first." The scarred man placed the piece of paper on the table.

Huang Yang took the paper and wanted to sign the paper without reading it. The scarred man was smiling as he saw Huang Yang’s action. However, he raised his eyebrow when Miao Ceifeng stopped Huang Yang before he managed to sign it.

"Wait a minute. Dear, you should read it first." Miao Ceifeng said.

He was temporarily blinded when he saw so much money in front of him.
