Chapter 2735: Records A Full Audiovisual Feed

Chapter 2735: Chapter 2735: Records A Full Audiovisual Feed

After isolating the footage, she immediately projected the visual recording onto a second, larger screen so that Long Hui could watch the events unfold together with her.

"This is..." Long Hui turned toward Yu Qi, a look of genuine surprise flitting across his face.

"One of the hidden functions of the Spirit Tracker." Yu Qi explained, her eyes fixed on the playback. "It does not just track location. It records a full audiovisual feed of everything that transpires directly around the person carrying it."

Long Hui raised his eyebrows, thoroughly impressed. That specific ability was far more useful and advanced than he had ever expected.

The two of them stood side by side, silently watching the recording. At first, the playback appeared completely mundane and normal. Tang Qin Hao attended his morning panels, interacted politely with other global researchers, and answered complex questions from the audience just as he always did. Nothing seemed out of place or forced.

However, the exact moment the scheduled lunch break began, the entire situation shifted into dangerous territory. They watched closely as a young woman wearing a staff badge approached Tang Qin Hao and engaged him in conversation. Although the spiritual recording did not capture every minor visual detail perfectly, the audio feed was crystal clear; they could distinctly hear the woman mentioning a critical patient in urgent need of his expertise.

The exact millisecond Tang Qin Hao heard that someone required immediate medical intervention, his aloof demeanour vanished, and he followed her without a shred of hesitation.

The woman, and whoever was pulling her strings, clearly understood Tang Qin Hao’s core personality flawlessly. They knew with absolute certainty that he would never ignore a human life in need, making him incredibly easy to manipulate out of pure professional concern.

The recording continued to play. Shortly afterwards, the young woman guided him to a secluded wing where a middle-aged man appeared and smoothly took over the escort. He systematically guided Tang Qin Hao away from the main hallways and led him deep into the isolated service elevators toward the parking garage.

On the surface, everything still appeared relatively normal, as if they were simply heading to an ambulance. However, the moment the elevator doors slid open at the subterranean parking level, Yu Qi’s eyes narrowed into dangerous, sharp slits.

Several burly men dressed in matching black suits were already standing in a rigid formation outside the threshold. It was clearly a meticulously planned ambush.

Then, an escalation occurred that managed to surprise both Yu Qi and Long Hui. The middle-aged man suddenly drew a firearm from his coat, his polite demeanour vanishing as he pointed the weapon directly at Tang Qin Hao’s back.

The footage clearly showed the heavy barrel of the gun pressing firmly against Tang Qin Hao’s back. Faced with an unshielded weapon at point-blank range, Tang Qin Hao wisely chose not to engage in a futile physical struggle. He remained entirely calm, followed the middle-aged man’s harsh orders, and allowed himself to be escorted toward a waiting black vehicle with heavily tinted windows.

The group quickly and forcefully shoved him into the back seat. Then, the middle-aged man drew a medical syringe from his pocket.

Yu Qi immediately hit the controls, pausing the recording and zooming in heavily on the captured image. Although the resolution of the spiritual projection was slightly grainy, they could clearly see a potent, clear liquid sloshing inside the syringe’s chamber.

"It was almost certainly some kind of fast-acting sedative." Long Hui analysed, his voice tight.

Yu Qi nodded grimly, her jaw tightening as a cold, dangerous light flashed across her eyes.

The recording resumed.

On the screen, the middle-aged man ruthlessly injected the contents of the syringe into Tang Qin Hao’s arm without the slightest hesitation. Only a few moments later, Tang Qin Hao’s movements became noticeably sluggish. His body gradually lost its strength, and his head slowly lolled back against the headrest of the seat. His eyelids grew heavier and heavier with each passing second. Despite his obvious, valiant effort to remain conscious, the powerful sedative quickly overwhelmed his system. His vision blurred into a complete haze, his eyes gradually closed, and before long, he completely lost consciousness.

The black vehicle continued moving smoothly. A few moments later, it exited the underground parking structure and drove away from the conference venue. The vehicle blended seamlessly into the heavy flow of traffic before eventually disappearing from the city’s electronic surveillance grid altogether.

Even though Tang Qin Hao had already fallen deep into unconsciousness, the Spirit Tracker continued recording everything around him faithfully. The black vehicle traveled for quite some time. It navigated through the busy city streets before eventually leaving the urban area altogether. The surrounding scenery gradually shifted from towering skyscrapers and bustling roads to isolated highways and empty stretches of barren land.

After nearly an hour of travelling, the vehicle finally slowed down. The recording showed the car turning onto a narrow, unpaved road before stopping directly in front of a solitary house standing in the middle of nowhere. The house was completely isolated from the rest of the world. There were no neighbouring buildings anywhere nearby, no visible pedestrians, and very little traffic in the surrounding area.

It was truly the perfect location to hide a kidnapped victim. If someone were imprisoned inside there, it would be extremely difficult for outsiders to ever discover their whereabouts. Even if the victim managed to cry out for help at the top of their lungs, there would likely be no one around to hear them.

"We’ve got the exact location." Long Hui’s eyes narrowed into sharp slits as he effortlessly memorised the coordinates on the screen. "Do you want to go and save your brother immediately?"
