Chapter 1198: Negotiations (2)

Listening to the Asura Princess’s words, Lith was in a dilemma.

The dilemma stemmed from the fact that the ones he wanted to kill weren’t there. He wanted to hear their screams and wanted them to beg for their lives, but such a situation wouldn’t occur due to none of them being attached to his grandfather’s karma.

Speaking of karma, Lith’s eyes had ancient sigils spirally within them. The purple color changed to a deep crimson and in Lith’s vision, all he could see was silhouettes of people around him and threads.

Lots and lots of thread were everywhere, some entangling with the ones coming out from his body and some randomly flowing.

If Lith saw the threads coming out of Sylvia, he could see they were a bright pink and flowed at his body, wrapping themselves around him.

The same was the case for Fei.

For Roy, it was a green thread coming out of Lith and wrapping itself around Roy like a slithering snake. This showed how Roy’s destiny was completely in Lith’s control.

When looking at the Asura Princess, Lith found no threads of hers coming towards him. He had no destiny with her or attached karma.

Canceling his skill ’Destiny Seer’, Lith sighed again.

’There’s no satisfaction, just plain annoyance. What the fuck is wrong with the world. I spent so much time and effort to bring the Asuras down but it was all for naught?’

Lith couldn’t understand where to direct his anger at and he thought about it really carefully.

Soon, he sat upright and stared at the Asura Princess.

"Quite bold of you to seek help from an enemy."

The Asura Princess flashed a wry smile. "What other choice do we have?"

Lith took his teacup and said while staring at the warm tea, "Do you think I’d help you just because of your pitiful past? Do I look like a saint?"

The Asura Princess shook her head. "Of course not. If you choose to help us, we are willing to give you everything the Asura God Clan possesses."

Lith took a sip of his tea. "What makes you think I can’t take it on my own?"

The Asura Princess smiled. "The treasures of the Asura can only be accessed by the reigning King and Queen. If you kill us, they’ll never fall into your hands. Please consider this."

At last, the Princess was starting to have an upper hand in the conversation.

From the start, it was extremely difficult for her to do this. But now, Lith was showing signs of bending.

How could he not when the Princess was literally offering him the entire Asura God Clan on a golden platter. He just had to cut his steak and enjoy the juiciness of its fats and oils.

The Asura Princess knew they were not going to win against Lith. Even though they had the ability to struggle a lot more, it was futile in the end.

Just as they had a few more hidden cards, they were sure Lith had those too.

Through these diplomatic talks, the Asura Princess’s goal was to control the damages. Even if their clan fell, as long as they had their curse removed, they could at least live a normal life.

And with that, they could eventually cultivate hard and ascend, joining the main clan.

Once they were with the main clan, Lith would then have no way out.

He would die the moment he ascended to the Upper Realm.

That’s how deep the Asura royalties cunning went.

They weren’t thinking of the present but planning five steps ahead to secure their victory.

In the present they might lose, but no one could say about the future.

The treasures they handed out and every other benefit they’d give to Lith, they were sure going to take it back later!

’Come one, just agree to this. You have no disadvantage...’

Watching Lith stay silent and sip tea calmly, she thought maybe she hadn’t shown him the real benefits yet.

The Asura Princess smiled wryly and continued, "Your Highness, the Asuras will belong to you. Your wish to avenge your ancestor will come true too when you take control of everything. We are also not asking for much other than leaving a successor, meaning we royals are even willing to offer you our heads. All you have to do is break our curse and leave us a successor. That’s our only wish. Please do consider."

The Asura Princess was getting desperate.

While sipping tea, Lith’s eyelids slowly moved up as he glanced at the Princess with his sharp eyes.

He put the teacup down and stood up, stretching lazily.

The actions confused the Asura Princess but she didn’t comment on it. She just watched.

Lith’s stretched hands moved down and rested at Sylvia’s waist. He pulled the Witch closer in a hug and asked with a smile, "Sylvia, my dear, how many days has it been since we last did it?"

The sudden question made Sylvia’s usual neutral face have a slight blush form on it.

Even Fei at the side was blushing and thought, ’Master, now is not the time for you to be naughty!’

Roy at the other end was shook too. ’Fuck, what is he doing? You are literally offered control of the world’s topmost powerhouse and the destruction of it is literally in your hands. Why are you not paying attention to it and instead doing useless stuff!?’

’What the fuck is he doing?’ The Asura Princess was no different from the rest and frowned.

Lith leaned to the side and kissed the side of Sylvia’s head. "Weren’t you complaining that you missed our intimate times? I’ll wrap things up quickly and get back to you."

’She did not complain!’

’I never complained...’

Fei and Sylvia both thought but didn’t express their opinion.

The Asura Princess and Roy were seriously confused by Lith’s actions.

Though after a moment, the Asura Princess thought, ’Maybe he’s come to a decision and is saying all that to let his companions know it’ll be over soon? Is he trying to show off, perhaps? Whatever it is, he looks like a fool.’

The Asura Princess’s thoughts did not reflect on her face. She kept a calm expression.

Lith walked towards her seat with a small smile.

Getting behind her, he leaned to her side, almost touching his cheek with hers.

"The entirety of the Asura God Clan except a successor... all in my hands... I have to say, you’ve prepared quite the feast for me to indulge in."

The Asura Princess gently nodded her head. "That’s right, Your Highness. If it isn’t enough... you could..."

The Asura Princess hesitated a little, then bit her lips and continued, "...you could even take me as your concubine after my curse is lifted."

Lith chuckled and gently touched her chin, turning her face to look at him.

Squishing her face and turning her mouth into an ’o’, Lith replied, "Do you know, vampires are sensitive to human emotions. They’re especially more sensitive to the emotions of virgins. I can feel your reluctance to be my concubine..."

The Asura Princess almost frowned. At this point, Lith was just spouting nonsense. She was clearly stronger than him yet how could he...

’Oh no...’ Something suddenly clicked the Asura Princess and a sense of dread took over.

Lith’s smile widened as he grinned ear-to-ear.

"You’ve been acting like a helpless damsel yet your emotions are so calm, as if everything is under control. Did you think I wouldn’t know?"

’Fuck! My cultivation is sealed! No wonder he can sense it!’ The feeling of dread got stronger as the Asura Princess trembled.

Keeping up with his chilling smile, Lith squished her face harder and continued, "But you know, this isn’t where you messed up. Your first mistake was thinking..."

Lith continued to put pressure, making the Asura Princess grunt and almost have a tear leak down her eyes.

"...it was thinking that this was a negotiation."
