I Have Countless Clones

Chapter 40

Cat General

Bang! Bang!

The muffled sound of fists and palms colliding echoed in the narrow alley.

...

Hao Tu’s five fingers curled into claws and tore five bloody wounds on one of his opponents’ arms.

However, in the next second, he was also hit in the side by another person.

The scorching energy that penetrated his body brought him incomparably intense pain. For a moment, he almost suspected that his internal organs had been roasted.

“Damn it!”

Hao Tu’s face twitched in pain. He was shocked and furious.

He wasn’t sure he could defeat any of the three people in a one-on-one battle, let alone when the three people attacked him together.

As soon as the battle began, he was beaten to the point of being unable to defend himself. He was in constant danger,

and almost lost his life several times!

If this continued, he would definitely die here!

Hao Tu glanced at the exit of the alley from the corner of his eye. He wanted to escape, but Lin Shen had long been prepared for this. His two clones had been firmly blocking the path to the exit. They would rather get injured than take a step aside. Hao Tu felt both angry and helpless.

When Hao Tu saw the situation was getting worse, his expression changed indeterminately for a moment. He suddenly gritted his teeth fiercely as if he’d made up his mind.

He endured Lin Shen’s palm strike and pulled away slightly. With a flip of his wrist, a black object that looked like a token suddenly appeared in his palm.

With the token in his hand, Hao Tu had a solemn look on his face. He muttered something under his breath and spoke quickly.

Lin Shen felt something was wrong. Just as he tried to stop Hao Tu, the latter had already stopped. Hao Tu suddenly raised his head and looked at Lin Shen, a cold smile filled with killing intent on his face.

The next second.

A domineering aura suddenly descended and enveloped the entire alley!

Under Lin Shen’s surprised gaze, a large number of ripples suddenly appeared in the void in the middle of the alley. A tall and dignified figure walked out of thin air.

It had green eyes and a protruding mouth, and its sharp ears were pointed at the sky.

Bronze curving plates covered its shoulders, and there was a crying ghost’s head on its waistband.

The crown was tied with bright yellow pheasant feathers, and its shoulders were wrapped in long white silk.

It was a white cat covered in scale armor and standing on its hind legs!

There was also an unsheathed sword at its waist!

Lin Shen was stunned.

What kind of a creature was this?

A cat demon?

But it didn’t seem to be the case.

Before Lin Shen could figure it out, the cat demon had already pulled out the long sword at its waist and stabbed at him with a threatening aura!

Without thinking, Lin Shen and his two clones immediately reacted to the attack.

The sharp clank of the sword instantly tore through the silence of the night!

In an instant, the alley was invaded by strong energy and coldness!

As soon as they started exchanging blows, Lin Shen was shocked.

This armored and sword-wielding cat demon was far stronger than the person just now. It had clearly reached the Long Breath Stage!

Its sword technique was incomparably exquisite. The silver sword light densely covered the void, almost illuminating the entire alley with a layer of the silver aura.

As the continuous sword force was displayed, endless sword light instantly spread out like a storm and enveloped Lin Shen and his two clones.

The situation took a sharp turn for the worse!

Having no weapons, Lin Shen and his two clones didn’t dare fight the cat demon directly. They could only keep dodging and were in a sorry state.

When Hao Tu saw this, he secretly heaved a sigh of relief, but then he felt a little pained.

He had spent a lot of effort to obtain this token. It could summon one fraction of the Cat General’s clone.

Although it was only a clone, it had the cultivation of the early stage of the Long Breath Stage and exquisite sword techniques. It was enough to fight two ordinary cultivators of the same level.

Killing three mere Qi Transformation cultivators was not a problem at all!

The only drawback was that it would take at least a month before it could be used again!

This meant Hao Tu would lose his strongest trump card in the next month.

However, compared to losing his life, this price was still acceptable!

Just as Hao Tu was thinking about this, his eyes suddenly widened.

Two shadows separated from Lin Shen’s body and quickly condensed into solid figures a few meters away.

In the blink of an eye, two more identical clones appeared in the alley.

“What…”

Hao Tu looked at the two new clones with his mouth agape. Then, he looked at the pair of “twin brothers” from earlier as if he had seen a ghost.

The cat general seemed to be shocked as well, but it quickly returned to normal and continued to attack Lin Shen and his clones.

Clone 1 and Clone 2, who had just appeared, were inferior to the other two clones in terms of combat strength. However, with two more helpers, Lin Shen’s situation finally improved a little.

“Is this an ability that can make clones?”

After a long while, Hao Tu recovered from his shock.

At this point, how could he not understand that the so-called “twin brothers” weren’t real humans at all, but the clones of that guy?

However, Lin Shen had taken a Face Changing Pill, so Hao Tu didn’t think in this direction at first.

After figuring this out, Hao Tu only became more surprised and bewildered.

Logically speaking, only cultivators at the Bright Aperture Stage or above could have abilities like casting spells. This target in front of him was only at the Qi Transformation Stage. How could he have the ability to do this?

If it was the effect of a talisman, Hao Tu had never heard of talismans with similar effects.

What was going on?

Hao Tu was still confused when he suddenly realized two of the five people attacking the cat general had left the battle and rushed toward him.

Hao Tu’s expression changed when he saw this. He knew his enemy had discovered the weakness of the God Seeking Token.

Once the cat general’s clone was activated, it wouldn’t disappear until it killed the enemy or died at the enemy’s hands.

If a Qi Transformation Stage cultivator wanted to crack the God Seeking Token, the best way was to kill the holder first.

Hao Tu didn’t expect the other party to react and understand this point so quickly.

Using Shadows, Lin Shen and Clone 3 arrived in front of Hao Tu almost instantly. They slapped out a surging heat wave that swept forward, dragging Hao Tu into the siege again.

In order to get rid of Hao Tu as soon as possible, Lin Shen didn’t hold back this time and attacked with all his might.

Clone 3 completely gave up on defense and attacked Hao Tu, not caring at all about receiving injuries.

Under their fierce attacks, Hao Tu’s situation was even more dangerous than when he was besieged by the three enemies.

He had only exchanged more than ten blows but had received four or five wounds already. He was so shocked that his forehead was covered in a cold sweat. He shouted anxiously,

“Divine Lord, help me!”

Swoosh!

A sharp moving noise suddenly burst out, and a biting cold killing intent spread.

The sword flashed, piercing through the void like a bolt of lightning and stabbing toward Clone 1.

The cat general’s attack was meant to force back Clone 1 so that the cat general could free itself to save the holder of the token. Unexpectedly, Clone 1 didn’t even look at the incoming sword and allowed it to stab into its chest. It reached out at lightning speed and grabbed the cat general’s wrist tightly.

At the same time, the other two clones also rushed over. One gripped the cat general’s other arm tightly, while the other wrapped its arms around the cat general’s legs.

In the blink of an eye, the three of them held the cat general tightly.

The cat general had never seen such a shameless fighting style. It couldn’t help but be stunned. When it came back to its senses, it suddenly exerted strength, wanting to break free.

However, the three clones only grunted and didn’t let go.

Seeing this scene from the corner of his eye, Hao Tu almost blacked out.

That was so shameless!
