“Good. Sit still and don’t move. Remember, don’t move.” Jing Peng let go of her chin, gently guided her to the living room stairs, and made her sit down.

“Okay.” Jing Yuan didn’t know what he had planned and decided to just do what she was told.

“I’m about to surprise you.” Jing Peng gave Jing Yuan a smile, slowly spoke, then turned and went into the kitchen. When he returned again, he was holding a bunch of lilies.

“Yuanyuan, come here.” Jing Peng, who’s now standing by the dining table, beckoned Jing Yuan.

Jing Yuan got up and slowly walked over. Standing in front of Jing Peng, she had never seen him act this way before; very gentle and even more handsome without that gloomy expression. He looked even more attractive than their eldest brother.

“Second Brother.” Jing Yuan looked up at Jing Peng.

“Silly Yuanyuan, have you forgotten that today is your birthday? Second Brother wishes you a happy birthday.” Jing Peng placed the flowers in Jing Yuan’s hands with a smile.
