Chapter 1815: Chapter 1805: Fighting
The person on her back seemed uncomfortable from all the fuss, discontentedly smacking his lips, muttering softly, "August Oliver, stop moving."
As soon as the name August Oliver was mentioned, even the air fell silent.
The female bodyguard didn’t dare waste a moment, hurriedly carrying the drunk person towards the hotel.
There was a bloodthirsty scent in the air.
Adam Sinclair’s emotions had completely submerged into darkness, his expression cold enough to freeze. He leisurely took off the gloves he was wearing and tossed them to a bodyguard nearby. Looking at the person opposite him, his eyes suddenly squinted, and without a word, he swung a punch—
Bam!
August Oliver was hit squarely, his head turned, staggering a bit.
"Stay away from Olivia Lewis!" The chilling warning carried a murderous vibe!
August Oliver wiped the blood from the corner of his mouth, his rebellious face firm, his eyes seemed to blaze with fire. He retaliated with a punch, "I should be the one saying that! If you can’t give her what she wants, then stay away from her, don’t hurt her!"
This tone was akin to that of a victor’s.
Adam Sinclair tasted the metallic sweetness from his mouth. He stopped the bodyguards from stepping forward, commanding, "Don’t interfere!"
Then he lunged forward and fought fiercely with the person speaking.
The two exchanged punches without holding back, with the wind filled with the sound of fists whooshing through the air.
The night was still long.
*
The next day, the morning sunlight shone in through the windowsill.
The person who had been hungover all night finally opened her eyes. Her first reaction to the strong light was to raise her hand and close her eyes. When her eyes gradually adjusted to the brightness, she opened them again.
"Ugh."
Olivia Lewis struggled to sit up from the bed, rubbing her aching head as she recalled.
The memories of yesterday suddenly flooded into her mind, and she subconsciously looked around the environment. She realized she was in a hotel room.
How did she get back?
Did August Oliver bring her back last night?
She had no memory of it at all... Damn, she must have drunk too much yesterday, completely blacked out.
Just then.
The room door clicked open, Sunny walked in with a glass of water, and upon seeing her, she grumbled, "Finally awake. Here, take this hangover medicine."
She stuffed the glass and hangover medicine into Olivia Lewis’ hand, and after watching her take it, she placed the glass on the bedside and began to scold, "Olivia Lewis, can you give me some peace of mind? Look at yourself, drinking to the point where you didn’t even take your shoes off. If the paparazzi had snapped a photo, they’d write all sorts of nonsense about you!"
Olivia Lewis rubbed her temples, knowing she was in the wrong, she dared not argue back, lifted the blanket, and said, "I’ll take a bath."
Then she quickly dashed away.
The sound of water from the bathroom echoed inside.
After washing away the smell of alcohol, feeling much more comfortable, she changed into new clothes and walked out, drying her hair and leaving the bathroom.
She had just dried her hair and was about to head out when she spotted her phone casually tossed on the bed.
Olivia Lewis remembered yesterday’s concert, put down the towel, bent down, picked up the phone, and turned it on.
Ding—
Several messages popped up on her phone.
Besides Enna Clark’s message, there was also one from the Director.
"Why is Director Trent messaging me?" She clicked on the text.
Her pupils instantly contracted—
The message contained only a simple sentence, merely asking her—Olivia, what happened? Why did President Sinclair suddenly inform me to cancel the collaboration with the Vault of Heaven Band?
