Lingering Doting Marriage: Big Boss, Little Sweet Heart

Chapter 3134 - 3223: Forced Away

Chapter 3134: Chapter 3223: Forced Away

Two men in black were well-trained, one covered Lydia Bell’s mouth and dragged her to the car. The other blocked his way, delivering a punch to his stomach.

Jeremy Payne groaned in pain, his face turning pale. But he still charged forward recklessly, grabbing the hand of the person being dragged, "Let go, or I’ll call the police!"

Who exactly were these people, daring to openly kidnap someone in the City Center!

He had a gut feeling that these people were not to be trifled with, but recalling the girl he saw feeding stray cats on the film set, he tightened his grip on her hand, "Back off, did you hear!"

The bodyguard in black hadn’t anticipated his boldness, truly getting hold of the person. He aimed a few fierce punches at his stomach and then hit his stomach with his knee.

"Ugh!"

Those punches were not light; Jeremy Payne’s mouth immediately filled with blood. He couldn’t even stand, collapsing to one knee, yet his fingers still grip Lydia’s hand tightly, "I’m calling the police!"

The man in black kicked him directly in the face.

Jeremy Payne fell to the ground in response.

The kidnapped person screamed, eyes filling with tears, sobbing as if calling his name.

The kick left Jeremy’s chest aching and unable to breathe. If not for the last bit of heroism, he wouldn’t have held on. He struggled to open his eyes, trying to buy time for someone to notice them, "Let... her go!"

Lydia Bell never expected Jeremy Payne to be so persistent, still holding on to her hand under such circumstances. Her heart pounded uncontrollably, partly fearing Jeremy’s injury and hoping he would let go and partly unable to contain her fear, hoping he wouldn’t let go.

Tears streamed down her face as she fought desperately.

The driver then stuck his head out and, expressionless, reminded the two, "Don’t waste time with them, hurry up!"

The men in black probably felt this was a waste of time, no longer polite with them. After exchanging glances, the man in black behind forcefully started dragging the person toward the car. As for the one holding Jeremy back, he pulled out a small knife from his jacket, cruelly stabbing it into the back of Jeremy’s gripping hand.

"Ah—" Jeremy Payne screamed in pain, instinctively loosening his grip. At that instant, he watched helplessly as Lydia was dragged into the car. The other man in black quickly got into the car, and it sped away out of his sight.

The wound on his hand wasn’t severe, yet the blood kept flowing. He punched the ground, cursing in anger and frustration, "Damn it!"

Then he took out his phone and called the police immediately.

After calling the police, they continued to ask him for specific information. Considering Lydia Bell’s identity, he had no choice but to hang up on the police. He tried to use his connections, for an hour, without any feedback. Worried sick, he thought of Adam Sinclair behind Olivia Lewis.

He bit the bullet and called Olivia Lewis.

This call felt longer than anything else for him. Finally, the person on the other end answered, "Hello, what’s up, calling me this late. Could it be your ex-girlfriend tortured you?"

Olivia Lewis’s voice still had a teasing tone.

Jeremy Payne had never appreciated a voice so much! He seemed to grab onto a lifeline, "Sister Olivia, Lydia’s in trouble!"
