My CEO Husband Has Some Issues

Chapter 2191 - 2193: Jiang Nuan vs. Fu Yi

Chapter 2191: Chapter 2193: Jiang Nuan vs. Fu Yi

A night had passed.

Jiang Nuan hadn’t slept well all night, and in the morning, she got up with panda eyes. She thought she had gotten up early enough, but when she came out of the room, she found steaming breakfast already set on the table.

"Morning."

A tall, slender man came out of the kitchen wearing a short-sleeved shirt, holding a plate in his hand.

Jiang Nuan’s hand that was brushing her hair dropped as if she was electrocuted. Her eyes were bewildered, "Morning."

Fu Yi’s expression was normal as he greeted her, "I just finished making it, and you got up. Perfect timing, come sit and have breakfast together."

"Oh." Jiang Nuan pulled out the chair in front of her and sat down, staring at the fried dough sticks and soy milk in front of her with surprise written all over her face, "Did you make all of this?"

Fu Yi pulled out the chair opposite her and sat down, handing her the chopsticks. His long, slender fingers were distinct and defined, and it was hard to tell that these beautiful hands could cook. She had never tasted his cooking before and assumed he was like other noble sons in the Capital City who didn’t cook.

"Yeah, try it. It might not suit your taste."

Jiang Nuan, full of conflicting emotions, picked up the chopsticks, her long eyelashes drooping, stealing glances at him, "When did you learn to cook? Wasn’t it always Nanny Wang who cooked before?"

"Five years ago, after you left a divorce agreement and disappeared suddenly, I bought a house outside the Rose Garden. I usually stayed outside and only came home on weekends. Occasionally, friends would come over to hang out, and gradually, I learned a bit, but not too much."

He only knew some simple home-cooked meals. The only slightly complicated dish he could make was hot pot, taught by Rong Yan.

Jiang Nuan buried her head in her food, eating while feeling conflicted. Why did she hear a hint of resentment? She must have misheard.

She looked up to glance at the man across from her. The dark shirt on him made his fair skin stand out, only his complexion could pull off such a deep color, and he made it look good.

His expression was normal, and he held a fried dough stick in his left hand, even managing to make eating one look classy. His face showed as if he had just casually mentioned something earlier.

Jiang Nuan sighed and felt relieved.

After breakfast, she specifically called the research institute to take a day off. After changing her clothes and grabbing the small bag on the sofa, she said to the man who had cleaned up the dishes, "The airport hasn’t called me yet, let’s go to the airport and check."

Fu Yi lowered his eyelids, his expression on his face didn’t look good as he murmured, "You seem eager to help find my things, makes it seem like you don’t really want me to keep staying at your place."

"What?" Jiang Nuan was changing her shoes and didn’t catch that. After putting on her shoes, she stood up, looking at him blankly, "What did you just say? I didn’t hear it."

Fu Yi swallowed a lump of frustration in his chest and walked over expressionlessly, "If you didn’t hear it, forget it!"

Jiang Nuan, "..." What’s going on? Why is he angry again? People say a woman’s heart is like a needle at the bottom of the sea. How come she feels someone’s heart is just like a key stand’s, too much to handle.

Not wanting to provoke anymore, she opened the door and quickly drove the car from the yard and parked at the entrance, waiting for him to get in.

Fu Yi followed out, face sour, pulling open the passenger door and bending down to sit in.

"Bang." A sound, the car door closed.

Listening to the way he loudly shut the car door, Jiang Nuan twitched her mouth, unable to understand why she skipped a good day at work to accompany him to the airport to look for his passport, yet somehow managed to upset this big shot.
