Chapter 607: Halls of Infinity
After getting the go ahead, Rael momentarily paused.
He had only heard about the ability vaguely. He wasn’t expecting Gaia to completely rework it either.
But according to her, Alcetas’s Mind Realm had infinite possibilities.

And if Gaia were to use that infinity to create something even better, then…
<Ding!>
<You have projected your mind realm!>
<Domain Formed – Halls of Infinity>
<Ding!>
<You have formed a Supreme ranked domain!>
<Ancient Mindweaver bonus!>
<While inside your Mind Realm Domain, all stats +200% → +1,000%>
<Rain cloud bonus: 2.5x>
<Current Stat Bonus Increase: 13.5x>
Seeing his stats rise like that, Rael wasn’t even surprised.
After all, the Domain was the one thing he was curious about.
And yet, even after it showed that he formed a domain, it was nowhere to be seen.
Or rather, that was how it appeared on the outside.
<You have trapped: 5,535,299 beings in the Halls of Infinity!>
<Detecting intent…>
<You have trapped: 2 beings in the Halls of Infinity!>
Before he knew it, darkness began to spread from the distance, and eventually, it covered both him and Lucien.
Yet when that darkness passed over Rael, he was merely pushed back.
It was a surreal sensation, yet it came off as a simple gust of wind.
And when that gust of wind passed, Rael found himself standing in darkness. Lucien was nowhere to be seen, and he couldn’t feel Kareth anywhere either.
It was a strange feeling, but for some reason, Rael felt as though he could control that darkness.
The moment he had that thought, a pop-up appeared in front of him.
<Halls of Infinity>
<Beings Trapped: 2>
<Choose Halls of Infinity Theme>
1. Torture
2. Combat
3. Defense
4. Undetermined
<P.S. Most of these are still works in progress, and I’d need a couple more years to finish them, but torture works just fine. -Gaia>
Gaia? Rael raised a brow.
[Yep, I made sure to deck out the torture,] Gaia replied confidently. [It’s a really powerful domain, but I didn’t get to test its full effects just yet. But imagine yourself as the god of a world with no limit. The beings you trapped, you can control however you want.]
Hearing that, Rael fell silent for a moment, then nodded.
Since Gaia had pretty much put all the options on the platter for him, it would be rude of him not to use them effectively.
And so, he chose the recommendation.
Torture.
<Ding!>
<You have selected the Theme of your Halls of Infinity>
<Choose your intensity!>
1. 25%
2. 50%
3. 90%
4. 150%
5. 1,000,000%
“Hmm…”
<Ding!>
<Intensity chosen: 1,000,000%>
It didn’t really take long to figure that one out.
Obviously.
Nonetheless, when he was done, for a mere moment, everything went quiet.
The pop-ups faded as well.
He just stood there in darkness, until eventually, two screens popped up in front of him.
They were like monitors, and he could see everything on the other side as though he was watching a video.
Though in those videos, he spotted two people.
Kareth and Lucien.
Both of them were standing in a crimson hallway, lit by a couple of chandeliers. The walls were decorated in the same ornaments Rael had seen when he first entered Alcetas’s mind.
However, there was one crucial difference.
All the paintings and all the architecture were made out of wood.
Only wood.
Both Kareth and Lucien walked around for a few short moments, until suddenly halting.
<Ding!>
<Concept Removal loaded!>
<Concept of Motion – The beings may no longer blink.>
<Concept of Distance – Everything is equally far away.>
<Concept of Identity – The beings cannot remember their names.>
<…>
<Concept of Time…>
<Time Dilation: 1:1,000,000,000,000>
Rael felt his energy zap away for a moment, but then it began to restore.
The source of the restoration wasn’t him, however, but the screens. Mana was literally traveling through them.
Taking a moment to glance over the new pop-ups though, he was left pleasantly surprised.
Gaia went with the derealization approach. He wasn’t sure how that would work on beings who were eons old, but he would put his trust in her.
[When you live so long, you try not to forget who you are or what you are fighting for,] Gaia said. [I would know, since I tried to cling onto that feeling up until my demise.]
He didn’t really get it.
Why would they care what their names were? Why would they care about distance or blinking?
Those thoughts flooded Rael’s mind.
And yet, when he glanced back at the screens, he was left pleasantly surprised.
Because of the time dilation, the screens were moving at several times their speed.
But even then, in the span of a few seconds, which had been several thousand years for them, neither of them moved.
He felt slightly bad for getting Kareth involved in this, but then again, Rael didn’t have the luxury of aiming his skill.
If it hit, it hit.
Kareth was just unlucky.
Bit by bit, Rael’s surroundings changed to resemble one of the halls as well. However, he had far more freedom.
There was a table full of food in front of him, and around him, there were 12 massive doors.
Two of those doors were glowing, and he didn’t really need to guess why that was the case.
Still, Rael sat down by the table and took a bite out of the food.
[Hehe… Sorry about that. I tied this Domain to your Premium Shop. Every time you cast it, you buy a banquet. It’s only like 25,000 Trell though. I found one of those banquets from your old world, you know?] Gaia said innocently.
Hearing that, he couldn’t even be mad. The food was delicious, and this domain really felt like it was his own.
Even better, it was incredibly overpowered.
Or that was how it seemed. In truth, he didn’t know much about this Domain at all.
His main worry was if it could hold two Grade 8’s. So far, it did, but… for how long?
That question lingered in his mind, when all of a sudden, he saw Lucien move.
