Chapter 621: The Talented Lilith?
<Zafira Sutekh: Sorry… I’m being a little held up by your sister, so I won’t be able to make it. Don’t do anything naughty with Lilith, okay?>
Sighing, Rael replied.
<Rael Sutekh: Don’t worry, I’m not in a naughty mood today. I just wanted to have some dinner with you two. On that note though… When will you be back? Can’t you just bring Melissa along with you?>
<Zafira Sutekh: I wish. She is clinging to me a little too much. I’ll be back by next week probably. Since you’re going to have dinner with Lilith, I’ll practice the Law of Time some more. I’ll be sure she’s not even close to my skill level by the time we meet.>
Rael smiled and sent his goodbyes.
After that, he glanced at Vatyra and Anastasia.
Since he had no intention to get into anyone’s pants today, he might as well extend his invite to Vatyra.
“Vatyra, about that date. What do you say to having dinner with me and Lilith?”
She turned back to him with a frown.
But just as she was going to dismiss his comment, she paused.
“You know what? Sure,” she surprisingly agreed. “Ana can go ahead and watch Uriel for us then.”
Anastasia’s expression darkened, but since she did have a debt to repay, she did not say a word.
Therefore, the three of them made their way up to the star above, and when they arrived, they met with Lilith.
She was in the theater room watching a children’s movie about some long haired blonde girl.
Honestly…
Lilith was more excited about the movie than Uriel. In fact, Uriel looked pretty damn bored.
But when he spotted Rael and the others, his expression lit up.
To Rael’s surprise, Uriel suddenly teleported beside him.
Or rather, that was how it seemed at first, but clearly, he used the Law of Time to slow down time and accelerate himself in the process.
It was an interesting move, and Rael had not even tried it yet.
“Greetings, father,” Uriel said respectfully.
“Uhh… Father?”
He did age quickly.
But was it already that time of the day when he switched from dad to father?
Ouch.
“You do not have to be so formal, Uriel,” Rael said. “Just treat me as you would treat a friend or something. Also, meet Aanstasia.”
He turned to Anastasia whose body stiffened.
Uriel was like a mini Rael.
Except now, Uriel looked like Rael but as a teenager.
He was growing way too fast.
“Anyways, Vatyra already gave you the rundown on Uriel’s habits and stuff. As for you, Uriel, behave with Anastasia, okay? She’s going to be your nanny.”
“A nanny? Do I even need a nanny?” Uriel crossed his arms. “Aren’t I old enough to be by myself?”
Dude, you’re less than two months old.
Rael did not say that, and instead, he shook his head at Uriel.
“You’re still young. I do not want you trying to rebel this early on. Just sit around with Anastasia and do something interesting. Despite how boring she looks, she’s quite an interesting person to be around.”
Uriel seemed hesitant, but after exchanging a glance with Anastasia, he let out a sigh.
“Okay… I’ll listen.”
“On that note, Uriel, what do you say to starting your training?” Rael brought up out of nowhere.

“Training?” Uriel’s eyes beamed. “Do you mean…?”
“Fighting, killing monsters, protecting yourself and others. The basics,” Rael affirmed, narrowing his eyes slightly. “After a week or so, your power is going to increase exponentially. I want you to be prepared when that happens, since even one step is most likely going to destroy this world. Do you understand?”
Uriel nodded repeatedly.
He was clearly excited.
Being holed up here for nearly two months without doing anything interesting was definitely taxing.
And since Uriel was still a kid, Rael needed to make his life more interesting so he would not turn out like a scumbag in the future.
Anyhow, with the goals sorted, Anastasia and Uriel began talking. Vatyra walked outside, and as for Rael, he went ahead and sat beside Lilith.
For some reason, she had not noticed their arrival.
Or maybe…
“Is it fun deceiving me?” Rael mused.
Her smile widened as she turned toward him.
“Is it wrong that I want you to get closer to me?”
“Of course not.” Rael sighed. “I just expected something a little less cliche from you.”
She pouted slightly, and then to his surprise, grabbed his shirt’s collar and pulled him close.
Their noses touched, but neither Lilith nor Rael went in for the kiss.
She was clearly teasing him, and honestly, it kind of worked.
Rael flicked her forehead with a slightly flustered look and stood up.
“We’re going out for dinner. Vatyra’s also coming along,” he said, coughing a couple of times.
Lilith’s expression brightened as she also stood up.
“I hoped we’d be alone, but that works too. Where will we be going?”
“Hmm… I haven’t decided yet,” Rael replied. “Celestara has some nice cuisines, but I was thinking maybe another world?”
He had checked out a few worlds while he was out strolling about. Some of those worlds he actually went ahead and conquered just to bookmark them for later.
Some did not even generate that much money, but since they were so easy to conquer… yeah.
And there’s one sci-fi world with great food that I wanted to check out.
“Another world? Do you want to take our ship?” Lilith asked, tilting her head. “Or do you want me to use the Law of Space to teleport us there?”
Rael raised a brow.
“Didn’t you only learn the Law of Time?”
Lilith’s smirk widened.
“I have 50% mastery of all the Normal Laws you gave me, 10% mastery of every Supreme Law you gave me, and lastly, I have around 2 to 5% mastery of every Unique Law you gave me.”
“…?”
“The reason I couldn’t surpass Zafira was because I was practicing the other Laws at the same time. As it turned out, I had a talent for mastering Laws. If I only focused on the Law of Time, I would have far surpassed Zafira… Not that I’m bragging or anything,” Lilith added with a smile and tapped his shoulder.
“Shall we get moving, then?”
