Chapter 734: Selecting The Perk
Anyhow, the next perk he could eliminate was Premium Stun.
In the same manner as the last perk, he could just increase his luck and make every attack be a stun.
If he applied it to his Laws as well, Rael was curious what the outcome would be.
Anyhow, that only left three options for him.
The damage reflection sounded nice, but for the most part, he would be the one dealing damage, and since he had unlimited Parry, he didn’t really need it that much.
Sure, it could work as a backup… but really?
No thanks.
Premium Damage Multiplier [Ultimate-Unique]
—All damage you deal is multiplied by a fixed value. The multiplier can be upgraded with currency.
Premium Skill Slot Expansion [Ultimate-Unique]
—Remove the level and rank limit on active and passive skills.
Between the two, Rael thought long and hard, since obviously, if he were to get the first, he could get a really big increase to his power right away.
That would be a big help, especially since he could directly increase the power of his Laws, among many other things.
But then there was also Premium Skill Slot Expansion.
Rael stared at it for a moment, then shook his head.
He couldn’t even remember the last time he actually used a skill.
Removing the limit would also just pretty much guarantee linear growth to the skill’s damage too.
Something he could easily replicate with Premium Damage Multiplier.
The only skill that could really benefit from Premium Skill Slot Expansion was this:
Void Cloak (Cursed-Common):
—Surround yourself in an ethereal cloak of void energy, giving you a 50% chance of avoiding incoming damage and reducing all damage taken by 25%.
Cost: 50,000 MP
Duration: 10 Seconds
Cooldown: 1 Day
But this was a skill that would’ve been good maybe a few months ago in real time.
Now… it was just something Rael could pick up every now and again for the sake of it.
So with that in mind, the decision was pretty clear.
<Ding!>
<You have chosen: Premium Damage Multiplier [Ultimate-Unique]>
Just like that, his selection was over, and although Rael kind of wished he could’ve gotten better stuff, he was still satisfied with what he had gotten.
And since he still had quite a bit of money…
•—Balance: 3,887,074,102 Premium Coins—•
He should probably check out the multiplier.
<Premium Damage Multiplier [Ultimate-Unique]>
<Select Damage Multiplier>
1. 2x Damage: 1,000 Premium Coins
2. 4x Damage: 10,000 Premium Coins
3. 8x Damage 150,000 Premium Coins
4. 16x Damage: 10,000,000 Premium Coins
5. 32x Damage: 250,000,000 Premium Coins
6. 64x Damage: 2,500,000,000 Premium Coins
Dang.
Rael kind of hoped he could get more than that.
Though, the 128x damage was a little bit of a jump.
7. 128x Damage: 100,000,000,000 Premium Coins.
Just a teeny tiny jump.
Anyhow, since the 64x Damage increase was all Rael could afford, he didn’t hesitate to do it.
<Ding!>
<All your Damage has been multiplied by 64x>
Rael smiled in satisfaction and decided to check something out again.
<Universal Singularity (Ultimate Ability): You may sacrifice an empty universe to unleash a devastating attack with the force of a compressed universe. Power increases exponentially depending on your mastery. Current increase: 88.84x Damage Increase (Strength of ~89 Compressed Universes)>
Ah.
It was additive.
Rael had kind of hoped the 24.84x would multiply by 64x.
A 1,600x damage increase didn’t sound that bad after all.
But oh well, it seemed like when it came to skills and abilities that already had multipliers, his multipliers would just get added on.
Since everything was over and done with, Rael finally stood up.
It didn’t seem like he was forgetting anything.
…Probably.
It would be nice if I could get my Premium Dungeon working. Me being away for hundreds of thousands of years bricked the whole perk. I can’t even enter my dungeon anymore, Rael thought and did a few quick stretches.
Maybe I should go ahead and use my next Ultimate Perk Upgrade on the Premium Dungeon instead? If I could put in 3 billion Premium Coins, then I’d be able to get an extra 3 billion.
Obviously, every day after that, he would get more and more, and more…
It was a really good perk.
And a perk he had rarely used ever since it bricked.
Yeah… I’ll definitely do it next.
After the Dragon Realm, Rael had plans of heading to the Far Lands.
Apparently, that was where his Guardian was.
But Rael felt like if he visited that place so soon, he might miss out on a lot of progress.
After all, he had a teeny tiny suspicion that the only Supreme Beast Fragment in the Void was coincidentally in those Far Lands, right with his Guardian.
He did send Gaia to get them all, but…
I guess I’ll just have to see. I’d much rather do a few speedruns to get my Grade and money up. I also want to try destroying a Galaxy, or absorbing one, rather.
Getting a compressed universe would also be nice.
Nonetheless, his brainstorming came to an end when, all of a sudden, Nyx reappeared beside him, wearing casual clothes and some dark glasses.
She looked like one of those goth women that he would’ve probably gotten down on his knees for in the past, but now… not so much.
“Will it be fine if you’re here? You’re not a dragon, after all,” Rael asked.
Nyx lowered her glasses slightly.
“And? What are they going to do about it?”
“…Fair point. So? Are you hungry or something?”
She looked him up and down.
“What about you? Have you tested that new body of yours?”
“…”
Rael let out a sigh.
“Is it that bad?”
“Hm? No, on the contrary, it’s probably the best body I’ve ever seen. Your ability and skill activations should be instant, your regeneration is also instant. Uhh… I guess I don’t see a weakness?”
Rael tilted his head.
“What about anti mana?”
“What about it?” she replied plainly.
He didn’t say a word, since he knew she was just teasing him.
So after letting out a chuckle, she added:
“If a high level physique such as yours had such a weakness, then it wouldn’t be a high level physique, would it?”
“That’s true, I guess,” Rael said, still not exactly feeling confident.
And seeing that, Nyx gave him a proposal.
“Do you want me to test my anti magic on you?”
