Re-Awakening: I Became a Pay To Win Boss Monster

Chapter 750: The Armory

Capítulo 750: The Armory

“Hahaha! Perfect!”

Aries abruptly stood up and pointed into the distance.

Just then, a portal flickered out of nowhere, leading directly to the entrance of a massive mansion.

“Since you said you didn’t want to take my position, then I won’t parade you around Olympus,” Aries said. “Instead, we can go directly to my home.”

Rael was surprised that this guy wasn’t actually a scumbag deep down.

And so, after standing up as well, the two of them crossed the portal, arriving on the other side, which was Aries’s mansion.

It was big as hell, and honestly, Rael felt like he would get lost in it just by looking at it from the outside.

However, since there were a dozen maids and even a butler running around, Rael simply chuckled.

The two of them entered the mansion, and aside from the thousands of golden statues Rael couldn’t help but see all around, he also spotted a few paintings that detailed Aries on a battlefield.

They looked rather imposing.

Though, for someone so well known like Aries, Rael felt like these paintings didn’t do him enough justice.

But aside from the fanboying, Rael soon arrived in front of a giant door that looked like something that would open an armory.

“Are you ready to see the ultimate treasure?”

Hm?

“Get ready…”

Wait a moment…

Before Rael could even raise his hand, Aries pushed open the door, revealing a luxurious diamond pedestal in the very center of the room.

Yet on that pedestal was a black pair of panties that were perfectly preserved.

“The treasure that all men would die to get… Persephone’s panties,” Aries said, rubbing his nose with a smug look.

“What do you think?”

“Hmm… They look like panties.”

At Rael’s very bland answer, Aries’s brows twitched.

“Do you perhaps have a better pair of panties?”

“I’m not really in the business of collecting panties,” Rael replied. “Anyhow, could you show me your weapon collection? I’m a little more interested in that than, well… this.”

Although Aries looked offended, he simply pouted, shut the door, and led Rael to another hallway on the other side of the mansion.

Once the two arrived, there was a regular, barely interesting door in front of him, and if Rael had to guess, it was a door leading straight to the shitter.

And yet, when Aries opened it, Rael saw a long room with weapons encased in each corner.

Every single one of the weapons seemed powerful, and for them to get such a shitty door and room… it was a little laughable.

“Here’s my weapon collection. Take a look at whatever you find interesting, I guess,” Aries said blankly.

The moment Rael stepped into the room, Nyx’s voice suddenly resounded in his mind.

[Are you with Aries? We’re done here for now. I’m ready to head back to the Dragon Realm whenever you are.]

Don’t you want to spend more time with your friends? Rael asked, puzzled.

[Yeah, tomorrow. We set a date in the morning, so I’ll be out during that time,] Nyx replied. [As for you… I didn’t expect you to become friends with Aries. He’s a very troublesome man from what I’ve heard.]

Eh, he’s an idiot, but he has a nice weapon collection. We can go back to the Dragon Realm after I check it out. Give me like 15 minutes.

With those words, Rael glanced around the weapon room and saw dozens of swords, spears, and even bows.

Not that many bows though.

But a weapon soon crossed his sight that managed to catch his attention.

The Sword of Oblivion (Divine-Unique-Special-Gold-Masterpiece)

Durability: InfiniteCosmic Damage: 5,000,000,000 (MAX)

Special Option: Damage increases by 1.5x every successful hit (2.5x if it’s a critical hit). Stacks up to 50 times and resets when no one has been hit in 30 seconds.Gold Bonus: Every hit has a chance to grant between 1 and 15 Premium Coins. 1 minute cooldown.

Cosmic Damage.

Right…

That reminded Rael of the massive damage numbers he had seen with his basic skills.

This would explain those numbers in a way, especially since he was told Cosmic Damage was far superior to regular damage, since it dealt damage to every version of one being.

This further confused Rael as to why he wasn’t able to get a hit in on Rei.

But even so, he put it to the back of his mind and remembered the name of the weapon.

After all, something so good shouldn’t be left on a shelf.

And putting it on his Violin Blade instead of the Supreme Sword, he would be increasing his damage by a metric fuck ton.

I wonder if Cosmic Damage stacks as well? If I convert all damage dealt, and that damage dealt is already Cosmic Damage… Ugh… Too confusing.

“This is a nice weapon collection, I’d say,” Rael said with a smile. “Though, why not give it the love it deserves? More decorations, more weapons, and maybe even more usage?”

“All the weapons I use are in my inventory,” Aries replied. “These are weapons I once used to use. In short, they are relics of the past, stored after a great battle has been fought.”

“That’s pretty cool… But hey, as much as I’d like to accompany you for a bit longer, I gotta go. Duty’s calling, or whatever,” Rael said.

Aries shook his head.

“Don’t worry about it. You can visit some other time. Ah, but before you go, I ought to give you a parting gift, per se.”

Rael obviously would never refuse free stuff.

“Sure.”

Aries smirked and reached into his inventory, then a few seconds later pulled out a small golden box before tossing it over to Rael.

Catching it, Rael stared at it with a confused look.

I can’t inspect it?

“It’s a memento from one of my great battles. I hope you enjoy it.”

It better not be a pair of panties.

“Thanks. I’ll see you soon then.”

With those words, Rael created a small spatial crack and stepped through it, reappearing in front of Nyx, who was patiently waiting for him on a bench.

“Ready to go back?”
