Re-Awakening: I Became a Pay To Win Boss Monster

Chapter 793 793: Going Back To Her Home

“A mega city, yeah,” Rael replied nonchalantly. “Don’t worry, the mega city won’t be touching your tents, most likely.”

“But then what would be the point of the tents if the mega city is towering over them?” Nyzzara asked, her brow twitching repeatedly.

At times like these, Rael thought she couldn’t see the bigger picture.

The picture with the Trell symbol in the middle.

Money.

A mega city in her territory that would house players from thousands of worlds?

Oh boy.

That would be a lot of money.

And as it so happened, him owning this world was duped with the already existing rulers. Basically, he got money from owning the world, and the rulers who exist also got money.

So if he were to directly tax every single ruler in this world, he would earn double what he already did.

Though, he had watched one too many Korean and Japanese dramas to know how big of a delinquent he’d seem.

Just imagining himself knocking on the throne rooms of every ruler and asking for tribute cash was messed up.

But!

The idea was still on the table as he did have constructs.

Coughing to himself, he avoided a punch from Nyzzara, who tried to catch him off guard.

When she missed, she said:

“You’re like the gift that keeps on giving, you know?”

“Yeah. Sorry,” Rael replied. “I know my actions might seem a little iffy at times, but believe me when I say I don’t want to fuck you over. In reality, the reason why I even invited you to dinner was because I wanted to get to know you better.”

After all, people tend to spill some beans when they feel comfortable.

And when he was the one cooking, they were surely going to feel comfortable.

Probably.

“You’re acting a little weirder than usual. Then again, maybe you did have a change of heart? As hard as that is to believe, that would explain why you’re trying so hard.”

She turned around.

“Though I am a very busy woman nowadays. If you want to continue our discussion, then follow me.”

Nyzzara abruptly vanished, and for her Grade, she was pretty fast. Rael knew the barbarians were in good hands because of her.

Still, he followed her effortlessly, and after just a few seconds of crossing the barbarian lands, the two of them arrived at a seemingly regular cave at a glance.

But once Rael stepped inside, he was shocked to see what looked like a miniature home in here, filled with lanterns and lit up by some natural light through several holes around the place.

And of course, this home had everything that one would ever need. A television, a sofa, several rooms, and even an office. There was even a computer.

He was glad that Nyzzara was trying her hand at technology and all, but… who was she even texting?

A work laptop for barbarians?

I feel like it’s kind of fucked up to bring it up, so I won’t. At least the TV’s nice. She definitely went all out when it comes to her own comfort while still trying to live as a barbarian.

Even so, they approached her office. Instead of a door, there was an even tiger fur that she just pushed aside and entered her office. She grabbed her laptop and sat on the sofa.

Curious, Rael sat beside her.

“You know I have to work, right?” Nyzzara asked.

Rael nodded.

“Am I being a pest?”

“You are.”

“Can I be a pest from the other side of the room?”

She rolled her eyes.

“You can.”

With that, Rael stood up and sat down near a vase.

“We hadn’t talked much, but I feel like I’ve always forced you into stuff. First, killing your chieftain, and second, giving the barbarian lands over to me.”

Ah.

Wait a second.

Rael just remembered that she really did hand the barbarian lands to him.

And he had completely forgotten about the barbarian lands, which would mean she wasn’t getting any money from the management system.

She was basically lacking billions of Trell.

So now that made him wonder, just how exactly did she pull through and make all of these changes?

The moment Rael had that thought, Nyzzara booted up her laptop.

Just then, a giant hologram appeared in the very center of the room and began displaying some information.

Among some games she had on the laptop and some wonky pictures she took, there was something that nearly made him burst out laughing at how ridiculous it was.

“You work in the stock market?”

“…”

“Is that what it’s called?” Nyzzara tilted her head. “To me, it seems like free money.”

She pressed a few buttons, and in the next instant, she opened up her portfolio, greatly surprising Rael.

“Y-You have 58 trillion Trell in your stocks account!?”

Was she some kind of prodigy?

No way.

She mentioned free money.

Was she rug pulling the stock market?

Was that even a thing?

“I’m not sure why you seem so surprised,” Nyzzara said, crossing her legs. “For one, this laptop is connected to the internet of every world that has a stock chain. And as it so happens, this laptop can also see one day into the future.”

“By that, I mean I can predict everything that’s going to happen and either short the market or do whatever I want with it. I’ve only recently gotten into the big leagues where people put up trillions into their businesses. Though, today’s a little special. Watch this.”

She moved her cursor and pressed on some multi-trillion Trell business. It was going through some hefty ups and downs.

Just then, Rael saw that the stock had begun to plummet to the ground, to the point where one unit of their stock was worth only a couple million.

And as if on cue, Nyzzara chimed in, pouring 58 trillion Trell into that company. The transaction went through right away, and for some godforsaken reason, the whole price of the stock began to skyrocket back to what it was and even a bit more.

As Rael stared at the several dozen zeroes on the screen and then saw Nyzzara nonchalantly sell everything, he was left dumbfounded.

“Hmm… Not too bad. Check this balance out. It looks pretty good, doesn’t it?”

“…”

<Balance: 58,988,458,145,557,765,044 Trell | 58.988 Quintillion Trell>

58,988,458,145 Premium Coins.

She had more money than Rael.
