Re-Awakening: I Became a Pay To Win Boss Monster

Chapter 848: New Stat

Capítulo 848: New Stat

After nearly 10 minutes of them fighting back and forth, they finally settled down. Except now that they did, they were all bloodied and bruised. One of them was even missing an eye.

Rael felt proud in a way, since had he not baited them that way, none of this would’ve ever happened.

Nonetheless, since it did happen, he decided to finally get out of cover and approach them.

By the time the two realized that Rael was there, it was already too late, as he just used the hilt of his sword to smack the back of their necks, knocking them clean out.

And afterwards, all Rael did was drag them to the edge of the city and toss them into some random house. Once he locked the house, he went to the actual edge of the city and was immediately teleported back to the center, right beside Nyx.

“You know, I was thinking… Do you really think there’s no other way to go up the floors? I mean, even if Renoir or Lucien were incredibly powerful, the amount of time you waste just going from one floor to another should add up to several minutes per floor.”

Rael shrugged. She wasn’t wrong, in all honesty. If he went by normal logic, then only a few minutes should’ve passed in this world, whereas days passed for Rael in the outside world.

So even if Rael went in to floor 1, at most, Lucien should still be around this level, unless he also found out how to skip floors.

But knowing him, Rael wasn’t surprised if that was the case. After all, Lucien was the most talented and annoying person Rael had met. If he couldn’t figure something like that out, then his reputation wouldn’t be as great.

Well… Whatever it is, I guess we’ll only see once we get to the 75th floor.

Several more hours had passed… And by now, Rael was sure around 2 years had passed on the outside.

But despite the sadness he felt, and the lack of connection to Zafira, Lilith, and Gaia… He knew he could put his trust in them to make the right decision.

He also knew that Gaia was one of the few people who’d be able to do damage control. If she recognized that it was unsafe to enter this place, then she wouldn’t let Zafira and Lilith through.

On another note, Rael’s stats had gone up quite nicely:

As it turned out, the thingy that Ordinance unlocked was a level cap increase.

So basically, his Law of Infinity could go above 100% mastery now.

Essentially making it 102% mastery, and it seemed like the level cap increased by 1 every 100 stat points.

But there was still the issue of the Law itself.

His mastery wasn’t increasing.

It had been the same for ages now, and the only indication he had that it could go up was the fact that it broke through the 50% barrier.

How do I even go about leveling it up further…? Honestly, this sucks. I can’t even use the Ordinance buff completely because of this, Rael thought with a slight pout.

But thankfully… He was now one click away from entering the 75th floor.

“What stat did you unlock, Nyx?” Rael asked. “My Ordinance unlocked a level cap increase.”

She met his gaze and then shrugged.

“My Radiance stat lets me get more stats while sleeping now.”

Radiance?

Huh.

So she also had something overpowered then.

But it was just that sleeping here was a little… Troublesome. Unless she slept in her Mind Realm, years would pass on the outside for just one night of rest.

“Don’t worry, I don’t intend to use it just yet.”

Rael nodded at her, and then finally, after grabbing her hand, he pressed “Yes.”

In an instant, he was transported to the 75th floor, and he was genuinely surprised to see at least ten people right away, simply chilling in the main plaza.

They were sitting on some sidewalks and talking about random things. When they spotted Rael and Nyx, they seemed a little bit surprised, but none of them actually cared enough to stand up and approach them.

And that was fine.

“You think Renoir already made it up here?” Rael asked.

Nyx shook her head.

“I really doubt it. Do you want to camp out here?”

“Do I? I don’t even know. To be honest, I’m scared to even stay idle, since I know every time an hour goes by here, nearly a year passes on the outside.”

Hearing that, Nyx just sighed.

“Rael, I think you’re forgetting something. You’re not mortal anymore. Your wives have long since surpassed that shackle too. You’re basically immortal, and so a year or two of separation, especially when all sides have each other in their minds, is literally nothing.”

She smacked him across the back.

“So chin up. If I see you moping around like that again, I’m going to be mad.”

Rael let out a sigh and nodded.

Honestly, she was right. It was just that he was still human at heart, so spending so many years apart from someone just rubbed him the wrong way.

But since there was nothing else he could do, Rael decided to just relax for the moment with Nyx and finally explore the 75th floor.
