One Piece: So What If I Sin, Lie, and Lust? I'm Still a Good Marine

Chapter 353: Another Mythical Zoan!

Two surging torrents of Haki crashed together—black and red clashing furiously, as if ready to devour the entire world in front of them.

The sea of clouds above was torn apart, the island below splitting with jagged cracks as rocks were hurled into the sky.

Members of CP scattered in retreat, desperately fleeing from the source of the shockwaves.

To their horror, it felt as if the entire island couldn't withstand the pressure. Groaning like a living creature under strain, the world around them had turned hellish—dark, oppressive, and suffocating, like purgatory itself had descended.

And all of it stemmed from just two men recklessly unleashing their Conqueror's Haki.

"Rogers Daren... his strength is really this overwhelming?!"

"Even Saint Michael can't suppress him!"

"Saint Michael has been the commander of God's Knights since fifteen years ago!"

"This is insane!"

"..."

But before they could recover from the shock, a massive tornado of deep green erupted without warning, shooting skyward and plunging downward in a towering column, sweeping them all into oblivion.

"Wrath of the Wind!"

With a cold, low shout, the storm intensified. Through the maelstrom, you could faintly see CP members being lifted into the air—only to be brutally shredded into mist-like blood spray, vanishing without a trace.

Thunderous booms shook the heavens and the earth as the colossal gale devoured everything in its path, tearing across the island with unstoppable force.

Wind and lightning surged. The land cracked apart, mountains were leveled, and over half the island's terrain was completely reshaped.

In the next moment, Dragon emerged from the heart of the storm.

He turned to glance at Daren and Saint Michael already locked in fierce battle. Just as he was about to shift into his elemental form and charge in, three pale, ghostlike figures suddenly appeared around him, cutting off every possible escape route.

Clad in white suits and eerie patterned masks, they radiated a chilling bloodlust.

CP0—The World Government's top intelligence agency.

"Tch... Why is it always me dealing with the nobodies!?"

Annoyed, Dragon raised his fists in the opening stance of Ryusoken. Without needing a signal, blades of compressed wind began forming around him like coiled serpents.

With a deafening crack—

A dark green wind dragon streaked across the ground as Dragon lunged forward like a wild beast, a dozen razor-sharp wind blades screaming through the air toward the three assassins!

"I'm the one who carries freedom and equality! Shouldn't I be the main character!?"

...

Two figures—one black, one white—flashed past each other in midair like streaks of light.

Clang!

Sparks erupted, followed by a powerful burst of Haki-fueled wind rippling out in all directions.

Blade and claw locked together, and the dazzling sparks lit up both of their faces—vastly different in style, yet equally striking.

"So that's how it is. You've pushed your body's speed and explosive power this far... No wonder you were bold enough to think you could keep me here."

Saint Michael's cold gaze fixed on the black-haired youth before him. His pale noble robes and crescent-shaped silver hair fluttered wildly in the wind.

"This method of drawing out potential from the body... it's very similar to Kaidou's."

"Oh?"

Daren raised an eyebrow, interest flashing in his eyes.

"Judging by that tone, you sound like you know Kaidou pretty well."

Michael responded slowly,

"The World Government has ruled these seas for over 800 years. No ability or bloodline is beyond our knowledge... Don't forget, Kaidou was once captured by the Marines."

His voice was calm, as if stating a matter of fact.

But Daren could hear it clearly—that innate arrogance in the leader of God's Knights.

A disdain for the world. The kind of pride that placed no one in his eyes.

It was the unmistakable stench of scum, something not even noble education or high-end cologne could mask.

"He was once a government test subject. But Kaidou's powers and strength were unique, not replicable. So the government eventually shelved the research."

Hearing that, Daren's eyes gleamed. He let out a sharp scoff.

"So, in other words, you couldn't copy him—so you gave up."

"Let me guess… the genocide you carried out in God Valley—was that part of covering up your illegal experiments on the Buccaneers?"

"And the Lunarians who once lived atop the Red Line—nearly exterminated, all because your government lusted after their powerful bloodline?"

Michael's eyes narrowed to dangerous slits.

"Seems you know quite a bit about the government."

Daren laughed.

"Unlike your World Government, with its 800-year foundation and superiority complex, I'm just a thug who clawed his way up from the bottom. I never underestimate any enemy."

Michael smiled faintly.

"So I take it you've viewed the World Government as your hypothetical enemy for a long, long time?"

Daren gave a cold laugh.

"What tyrant with real ambition could stand having something permanently looming over their head?"

He winked playfully at the silver-haired Celestial Dragon.

"Don't tell me... you've never once imagined replacing that figure—sitting on the Empty Throne yourself?"

At those words—

The always-composed Saint Michael, who had maintained his poise even while standing before the corpses of his two top subordinates, finally showed a change in expression.

His body jolted slightly, and his face twisted with a chilling, murderous aura.

"You're asking to get killed."

His form began to shift grotesquely.

His frame stretched taller, thinning and elongating.

Silvery fur spread across his body. A white tail unfurled and swayed.

His boots split as his feet transformed into deadly claws—razor-sharp and cold as steel.

His once-genteel gaze turned into glowing vertical pupils, blood-red and feral, pulsing with an unnatural light as if foretelling a land drenched in blood.

In his hand, the Western sword gleamed under flickers of Haki—his transformed figure, a silver-white werewolf, looked both spectral and majestic.

BOOM!!

A brutal, oppressive aura exploded outward as the werewolf let out a chilling howl. From his fanged mouth spilled a white mist like dragon's breath, the air freezing instantly into frost.

Mythical Zoan, Model: Frostshadow Silver Wolf!

"Ah, so I hit a nerve. Got you rattled now, huh?"

Daren clicked his tongue and eyed the upright werewolf with a smirk.

"I thought something stunk the moment I set foot on this island. Figured it was a beast in the woods... never imagined the biggest animal would be standing right in front of me."
