Reincarnated with a lucky draw system

Chapter 242: BATTLE OF BRAWNS

"That's one win for each team," Aaron said leisurely, his voice carrying a relaxed timbre as he lounged on his shadowy throne, thoroughly enjoying the little entertainment he was having amid the vast cosmic spectacle unfolding before him.

[So? What's your plan?] The system asked Aaron curiously, its digital inquiry probing into his intentions.

"What do you mean?" Aaron replied innocently, tilting his head slightly as if genuinely puzzled by the question.

[I mean what's your plan? What's the end result of your little entertainment?] The system clarified, seeking a deeper understanding of his overarching scheme.

"That will be decided after the whole battle ends.

Should team defenders win at the end of the day, they fight the final boss," Aaron explained casually, his eyes glinting with strategic foresight.

"But should team Invader win, then we conquer the merged solar systems and go on to the next solar systems," Aaron threw more light on his plans, elaborating with a hint of ambition that echoed through the isolated void.

Aaron returned to watching the rest of the battles afterward, satisfied from the entertainment he was receiving, his posture exuding contentment as the clashes continued to captivate him.

---

The third battle was that of Dain and Ego, two beings renowned for their exceptional physicality and raw, unyielding strength.

To make the battle as convenient as possible for the physique contention, Aaron altered the isolated space he had placed them in, manipulating the environment with effortless command over the fabric of reality.

He created the entire space to be solid, transforming the intangible void into a tangible surface where the space itself functioned as a firm, unyielding ground beneath their feet.

Aaron followed the same principle as having a space barrier to achieve this, weaving layers of spatial reinforcement that mimicked the solidity of planetary terrain without compromising the isolation.

With an isolated space that allowed for the duo to have stable footing, the battle commenced.

Dain was still enraged from being humiliated by Riea earlier, his pride stinging like an open wound that refused to heal in the cold expanse.

Having someone standing opposite him felt like the perfect punching bag he needed to let go of some steam, a target upon which he could unleash his pent-up fury and restore his sense of dominance.

"How arrogant to consider me a punching bag.

You think too highly of yourself," Ego stated calmly, guessing what was going through the mind of Dain from the intense, predatory gaze fixed upon him.

"That's what you are to me, a punching bag," Dain said coldly, his golden eyes locked on Ego with unblinking intensity, shimmering like forged metal under distant starlight.

Exerting tremendous strength on his powerful limbs, Dain moved in a blinding fashion, his form turning into a streak of blurred motion that distorted the surrounding space.

With his razor-sharp claws extended menacingly, he swung his arm horizontally across Ego's chest area, the swipe aimed to rend flesh and bone alike.

Ego countered swiftly, deflecting the right arm of Dain with his left arm in a precise parry that redirected the force harmlessly aside.

With his right hand clutched tightly into a fist, Ego delivered a punch straight at Dain's face, the blow carrying the weight of concentrated power behind it.

With Ego's right arm drawing close to his face for the blow, Dain bent his upper body backward in a fluid arch.

A feat made possible because of his firm, muscular yet flexible body, honed through countless battles across realms.

Utilizing the momentum from his bend, Dain used his left hand to support his body against the solid spatial ground.

Using the same left hand as a pivot to rotate his form, he tried to knock Ego off his feet with a sweeping kick, his leg whipping through the air like a scythe.

Ego though, was one step ahead, jumping high enough to escape the kick's reach, his leap graceful yet powerful in the altered environment.

With his weight acting downward under the simulated gravity, he closed his legs together to stomp down on Dain in his still awkward position, the descent like a falling hammer.

Dain, using his right hand to gain more balance, pushed himself out of the way of Ego's stomp, barely escaping the crushing impact that cratered the solid space.

Standing on his feet once more, Dain moved backward, gaining some distance between him and Ego to reassess the situation.

His actions brought him precious time to recover himself, while Ego did the same, both warriors breathing steadily amid the tension.

"You are not so bad," Ego commented appreciatively, a faint smirk playing on his lips.

"But let's call it a day from the little warm-up.

Let's increase the pace, shall we? I hope you can keep up," Ego grinned confidently, his eyes narrowing with excitement.

His legs expanded to become stronger and firmer, changing from his slimmer lower halves to fit that of an actual werewolf, muscles bulging and fur sprouting subtly.

Ego had decided to increase the stakes, undergoing a partial transformation of only his lower halves to enhance his speed and power.

"Ready or not, here I come," Ego teased playfully, kicking his foot against the solid space with explosive force, turning into a streak of silver light that blurred across the arena.

Ego moved with a speed shattering the sound barrier, the shockwave rippling outward like invisible waves.

He moved with a speed a hundred times that of sound, his actions taking place a hundred times faster than sound could manage, leaving afterimages in his wake.

"This is no fun.

Video without sound isn't quite enjoyable," Aaron, watching from the sideline, complained lightly, his brow furrowing in mild dissatisfaction.

Doing what he did best, he tweaked the battlefield once again with casual mastery.

Utilizing his manipulation over time, Aaron accelerated the speed of sound to match that of Dain's and Ego's velocity, allowing both elements to synchronize seamlessly.

[You keep abusing your abilities in the weirdest way possible,] the system remarked dryly.

"It's called being creative and not abuse, dear system," Aaron defended himself with a chuckle, unperturbed by the critique.
