Reborn as the Genius Son of the Richest Family

Chapter 817: Visiting the Dwarves

The first question was easy to answer.

After all, he could always ask the help of his allies in the Dwarven Kingdom. Historically, they were the ones most adept at creating Mithril. They just lost the art. But thanks to him, they were slowly learning how to make it again, which was hopefully enough to sustain a factory.

The second question was a little bit harder to answer.

Only he knew how to make Unity Power Sources. No one else can.

After thinking about it, he only had one solution.

He closed his eyes and commanded his clone to appear.

A prismatic vertical line appeared from the top of his head down to his torso. Then, it widened, before a Unity figure stepped out, making it look like Michael had just copied cell division.

One of his Unity Clones stepped out in front of him, the prismatic light around its body slowly dimming to reveal a complete identical copy of his physical features.

"I guess for now, you'll be in charge of creating Unity PS," he said.

This Unity Clone was the only one who didn't have a GodForge piece in its chest.

He already decided to make this Unity Clone as his failsafe. It would stay in the Nation of Reborn and remain there as a safe place for him to teleport to if he experienced any real danger.

And while it was staying here, it wouldn't hurt if it performed manual labor since it wasn't doing anything anyway.

"But let's change your face. It's not going to be a failsafe if everybody knows you're my clone."

With a simple change in Magic Theory from ChatJK5, the clone's physical features began to change. It wasn't just his face, but his body structure and his skin tone as well.

As the magic circle appeared beneath its feet, the Unity Clone began to glow a prismatic light. Its sharp edges became more rounded, before slowly morphing into a different shape.

A few seconds later, the prismatic light subsided, revealing a completely different person underneath.

It was now a man in his late twenties, with a rugged look and tanned skin. He was completely different from Michael.

"Let's call you Alpha," he said.

He chose new names for his four other clones as well. They were named Bravo, Charlie, Delta, and Echo.

He then arranged for Alpha to start producing Unity PS instantly. This way, it would have a sizable stock once the Phone Factory was arranged.

He left Alpha alone as he began to create clumps of Unity in both hands.

Meanwhile, he decided to teleport to the Dwarven Kingdom to find Biru, the Dwarven King, and ask him for his help in producing Mithril. With the amount they had to produce for the factory, the Rebornian Dwarves couldn't do it alone.

On the outskirts of the Dwarven Kingdom, a shadow dome emerged from the ground as Michael landed in his destination.

He could have teleported directly into Biru's castle, but he wanted to see the entirety of the kingdom first.

It had only been a few years since he visited this place, but a lot had changed since then.

He looked to his left and saw the village where he first met the Dwarves, who were trapped under a landslide.

Now, no ruins were left. Instead, it was replaced by a bustling modern town made from concrete imported from the Nation of Reborn. He even saw the railway running through the other side, reaching all the way to the main castle of the kingdom.

He flew forwards, seeing more modern establishments around.

And what surprised him was that the buildings weren't just made with Dwarven architecture. There were also human designs as well. He saw humans, dwarves, and demi-humans mingling with each other and creating a proper community!

The infamous Dwarven Kingdom who had isolated themselves from everyone was now accepting of foreigners. They were mostly from the Nation of Reborn, but this was still a lot of progress.

And as he entered the main kingdom, he saw more of the same, probably even more. The main city of the Dwarves became a hub for tourists and visitors alike. And the Dwarves welcomed them with open arms!

This became more evident from the fact that their taverns became larger than normal, allowing humans to enter inside.

You know you've become friends with a Dwarf if they shared their alcohol with you.

And a couple of seconds later, he heard the sounds of excited cheering in the distance.

Flying up, he saw an oval-sized arena built right next to the active volcano in the center of the Dwarven Kingdom! And of course, what else were they playing except for baseball?

All the smitheries, taverns, and residential buildings were lighting up with an artificial light, brought to them by electrical lines connected to the power grid of the Nation of Reborn.

Everything had changed within the Dwarven Kingdom. They adopted the ways of the Rebornians.

Michael was lying if he said he didn't feel a little bit proud after seeing this. This was a direct result of his cooperation with the Dwarves. They helped him, and he helped them in return. This allowed both of their territories to flourish in such a small amount of time.

And now, he was planning on bringing an even bigger potential for business in the Dwarven Kingdom.

He walked towards the front steps of the castle, where he was immediately recognized by the Dwarven guards who immediately swarmed him with smiles on their faces.

"Boss Michael! It's been a long time!"

"Have you seen our baseball arena, boss? It's good right?"

He greeted all of them back, joking about how the Rebornians will still beat their Dwarven team in a baseball game.

Their friendly banter was only interrupted when the gates to the castle were opened and a Dwarf wearing official garb hurried outside.

"Sir Michael!"

Michael recognized the Dwarf to be one of the Dwarven King's personal attendants.

"We welcome you to our kingdom, lord Michael! Please come inside!"

Michael obliged and followed the Dwarf to the castle's interior. He was led to the guest room, which they made specifically for humans like him.

Once he was seated, a female Dwarf served him a non-alcoholic beer made by them personally. It tasted pretty good for a drink.

"To what do we owe the pleasure, lord Michael?"

"Is Biru around? I've got a business proposal that I want to ask him."

"The Dwarven King? Unfortunately, he already left," said the Dwarf, shaking his head.

"Where?"

"New Sparta," the Dwarf answered.

This was surprising. He never thought that the Dwarven King would go out of his kingdom so far away.

Just a few years ago, they wouldn't even come out an inch away from their walls.

"Why would he go to New Sparta?"

The Dwarf sighed and shook his head. Behind him, Biru's other attendants also expressed their disappointment.

"Hahh…we do not know. But knowing him, he probably wanted to experience a new culture for himself. We tried to stop him, but he was able to pressure us to agree."

"How?"

".....he threatened to cut off our beer supply," the Dwarf said, shivering. The thought itself made him sweat.
