Chapter 1011  Soothing

Sylas felt his mind flash out of his body. He appeared in a familiar space, and yet one that was not so familiar at the same time.

A white feather hung high in the air, radiating out an aura with it that was particularly enchanting. It carried a soothing cadence to its pulsing light that made one feel comfortable. It was honestly quite hard to believe that it had come from a Race like the Thryskai in the first place.

Maybe it was because Aki had jaded his entire view of the Race. But there didn't seem to be anything truly kind, gentle, or soothing about them. In fact, Sylas got the distinct feeling that they were a warring Race. If they weren't steeped in blood, they wouldn't even feel particularly comfortable.

"Odd…"

Sylas could remember hearing about the reward for victory. Back then, his now-dead tour guide had used something called the Sprinkling Dao Seed to entice him.

Of course, Sylas had no way of knowing what that Aether Treasure took as a form, and his Scouting Skill was too weak as well, so even when he got a name, he didn't know whether he should trust it or not.
