"Who are you? And why are you here?"
A being with white wings on his back, long golden hair, and ancient armor questioned with a grim look on his face as he stared at Nux.
His goal was clear, buy time and call for reinforcements because he knew this wasn't a matter that would be easily solved, not when one of their strongest warriors was in that state.
Plus, the energy the entity standing behind this man was radiating…
Every single one of them could feel its uncontrolled, ruthless, and chaotic nature.
The Power of Chaos.
As few of the beings who had seen and experienced the Great War of the Five Supreme Worlds, they knew the significance that energy held.
This matter had to be reported to the Supreme World of Light.
But—
"Did you call for reinforcements already?"
Nux questioned, tilting his head with a grin.
"Who did you call? More Eternals? Or is it the Light Infinity?"
But before the man could answer, Nux just shrugged.
"Well, it doesn't matter, really.
It is already over."
Saying those words,
The space around Nux grew still.
For a moment, it seemed like nothing was happening, confusing every Eternal that was here.
But then, the bright sky of Gracevale trembled, a slow, ridiculously powerful ripple was released from Nux's body and with that—
The Reality itself split open.
The surroundings turned dark like a void, the boundaries of this domain continued to stretch further, expanding at a ridiculous rate.
And on its way, it started devouring everything—
The space, the time, the light, the darkness and… even the people.
The fourteen Eternals that had 'surrounded' Nux, all panicked, finding themselves in a completely unfamiliar place.
Their bodies reacted on their own and they deployed their domains, wanting to counter whatever was happening to them.
But then something surprising happened.
Their domains were deployed but… there was no clash between their domains and Nux's. It was as if… Nux's domain simply swallowed theirs.
What's worse?
The absolute-ness they usually felt after deploying their domain… they couldn't feel it this time.
They looked around and noticed how their bright world, clear skies, beautiful buildings and everything they had built millions and millions of years ago, was all replaced by a void filled with faint stars created by Nux himself.
In panic, they brought out their artifacts that connected them to the Supreme World of Light, artifacts they were relying on to get the reinforcements but…
"W-What is happening…?"
"What…?"
"I-I am not getting any answers…
N-No, I-I can't even send anything!"
"What!?"
The Eternals panicked, they all brought out their own artifacts but…
"I… I can't connect either."
The result was the same.
The connection between their artifacts and the 'other side' no longer existed.
"How…?"
The Eternals couldn't believe it.
"Did he… somehow destroy our artifacts?"
"But… that isn't possible…?
Lord Liran gave me this…"
They were shaken, in absolute disbelief.
However, this was just the beginning.
"I…"
One of them raised their voice.
"Does any of you… feel a little different?"
He questioned as he stared at his comrades.
This was when the Eternals realized it.
Their connection with the Main Universe had snapped as well.
While they could still feel energies they were familiar with in this place, something about these energies felt… different.
The Eternals stared at each other, their shock, panic, and fear were clear on their faces.
As for the man responsible for all this?
"Welcome."
Nux smiled.
His voice now felt much heavier than before.
It came from all directions, as if the very place they were in was talking to them.
"…what did you do?"
One of the Eternals stepped forward and questioned.
"Think of it as a little experiment if you will."
Nux answered with a smile, like a gentleman he was.
"An experiment…?"
The Eternal blinked.
But Nux…
He ignored him.
His focus was somewhere else.
'Nux, the Universe reacted.'
Faustina informed.
'Already?'
Nux frowned.
'Yes, it reacted just now.'
The woman nodded.
'So it activates the moment I activate my domain, huh…'
Nux noted.
"Answer my question, what experiment?"
'What about Gracevale, what happened to it?'
Nux asked.
'Nothing.'
Faustina shook her head.
'According to Azriel, Gracevale is fine. The Universe is reacting because a total of fifteen Eternals have disappeared.'
'Is that so…'
Nux nodded to himself.
"I will not ask again, boy."
'So the moment I activate my domain, whatever my Domain swallows, the Universe sees it as me devouring it all huh?
Then where am I right now? I can sense that my domain isn't actually connected to my Universe, this place is not a part of my Universe, I cannot sense Umbrasol or my wives from here, so it is definitely an independent space.
What about Gracevale, is my domain still there?'
Nux asked.
This is what usually happens as well, every time a Transcendent, or an Eternal activates their domain, the beings outside their domain can still see it. This was also one of the ways to define a Domain's strength, seeing how big the radius of its sphere is.
But—
'No.'
Faustina shook her head again.
'Azriel, using his Authority as the Universe's child, went to Gracevale and he isn't sensing anything wrong.
Gracevale is panicking because it has lost its connection with all its Eternals, the same is true for the people, they all saw a man appear, how the Eternals surrounded him, but then suddenly, the man formed his domain and the instant the domain devoured the Eternals, they all disappeared and everything else returned to normal.
Well, if you consider Gracevale and the Universe trembling in panic and anger 'normal,' that is.'
Faustina explained clearly and hearing her words…
Nux just blinked.
'So my domain does not exist in Gracevale either…?'
He asked.
'Yes.'
His mother nodded.
And Nux…
'Then where is it? My domain, I mean.
Where… am I…?'
He questioned, utterly confused.
But…
'We do not know.'
Faustina shook her head and then—
"I TOLD YOU TO ANSWER MY QUESTION!!"
