As Noah acclimated to the new sense of power coursing through him, Tor and THE Living Origin seemed to sense the shift.
The former continued with casual interest as he spoke.
"You and others like you always like to do things with flair and fashion. You haven't truly grasped any Depth of Absolute Sovereignty, and yet the immensity of your existence seems to have reached it anyway. I used to take you to fight weak little things that had just laid a claim on their Sovereignty, but do you think you could fight against me now, Little Anomaly?"
Tor asked such a question in a completely carefree manner.
Noah looked back at this entity that had given him his backing and nodded calmly.
"That is among the many things that we can do. And there's a lot to be done."
Tor blinked at this reply.
He looked around at Noah and all the others gathered in this veiled space.
In the next moment, his expression shifted to confusion.
"Why all the sense of doom and gloom here? What's happening right now?"
What was happening right now?
Noah took this question in calmly as he answered.
"THE Living Paradox and others formed THE Loom, a shelter and weapon, that's going to collapse all external Existence and Civilization in what they call The Fallout at some indeterminate time. It could be hours or days or weeks or years from now. Survival against The Fallout was a serious question a few days ago, but now... I have a level of confidence towards it. I just need to make sure that all my preparations are ready."
BOOM!
He said such words with calm certainty.
THE First Hunger looked at him with mounting incredulity before gazing at Khor as if he wanted her to confirm this insanity.
Khor nodded with a cloudy face and seemed about to say something else when, at this moment, THE Living Origin calmly inserted herself into the conversation.
"Well... THE Loom is actually a Key. A key that THE Living Paradox designed to unlock THE Belly of Existence, the prison under the warden of...THE Creature that holds countless entities from The Infinite Unfurling. Its full scope of action will be unknown. But its eruption would mean that THE Living Paradox is ready to begin his fight against THE Creature with this weapon, to tear across The Belly of Existence to do whatever it was designed to do. And likely all of those imprisoned in The Infinite Unfurling will also be released."
BOOM!
She paused before continuing with heavy words.
"But it was made with my Heart of Origin and Weavings of others that supported THE Creature. And of course... the Heart of Hunger."
BOOM!
Terrifying words were uttered from her mouth.
Noah looked at her closely before he spoke.
"Alright, this is why we need to have a proper talk. Let's- "
Before Noah's words could finish, THE First Hunger interjected.
His expression turned cloudy as obsidian crimson light began dancing around his frame.
The shadows of Hunger writhing across his skin intensified into something more volatile.
His voice came out flat and dangerous.
"What do you mean the Heart of Hunger was utilized in its forging?"
Silence came.
When this entity asked this question, Noah reserved answering it himself.
He turned his attention towards the one that THE First Hunger called Little Monster.
Khor.
At this time, this diminutive figure of the ancient entity looked towards Tor with a cold gaze.
As if she was laying out her grievances to an older member of her family.
As if she'd been waiting eons to say these words.
"THE Living Paradox collapsed my Way and Civilization as he used my Heart of Hunger, my Primacy of Hunger, to fuse and mutate all the countless Inevitabilities into the walls of his Loom. For the past eons, Inevitabilities have been forced to hunger and hunger endlessly, never keeping any of the authority that they take in as it all goes towards supporting THE Loom. Every single Inevitability without question was mutated and forced to experience this endless sense of unsatisfied hunger."
Her voice was steady but cold as ice.
"My emergence was made possible by the Outsider here, and the current Inevitabilities that you see around us are the product of what we've managed to achieve as we forge a new Civilization of Hunger from the ruins."
Her words got to the core of the issue.
The body of THE First Hunger trembled.
An unfathomably dangerous aura radiated from him as it looked like he would explode at any moment.
The air itself seemed to warp around him as crimson shadows pulsed outward.
But then, moments later, he reached out towards Khor again and held her.
He stroked the hair on her head with surprising gentleness despite the rage building in his frame.
His eyes had turned pure crimson when he turned to look at Noah.
The carefree demeanor from just moments ago was completely gone.
In its place was immense coldness and barely contained fury.
"You said you needed to prepare. What needs to be done so that sometime in the future, I can look at the face of THE Living Paradox and peel the skin from his existence? Slowly. Piece by piece. Until there's nothing left but his screaming Weavings."
A sense of wildness and contained rage pulsed within THE First Hunger as he asked such a thing.
Even though they all knew how impossibly hard it would be to accomplish.
Even though THE Living Paradox was one of the supreme beings who controlled the flow of Existence itself.
Even though he'd collapsed both Origin and Hunger in the past and walked away unscathed.
But Noah nodded lightly.
He looked towards THE Living Origin as he spoke.
"The first thing we need to do is get a good grasp of exactly what's happening around us. Information. Knowledge. We need to understand the full scope of what we're facing and what resources we actually have."
He turned his gaze fully to her.
"Are you able to help us with this, Origin?"
