Global Gods : Skill-Resonance Awakened

Chapter 300: Ch 300 : Rage That Will Help Them Grow

The Border of the Multiverse.

The void was silent, save for the breathing of the three Gods. Before them stood the Barrier, a wall of blue light that separated the chaotic Cosmic void, the outside world, from the sanctuary within.

It was impenetrable. It was absolute.

But then, the small, glowing butterfly flapped its wings.

"Open," Shenlong whispered through his avatar.

As the word left the butterfly's mouth, the barrier began to shudder.

It wasn't a physical impact. It was a magical resonance.

Shenlong wasn't using mana, he was channeling Hope.

The Hope of six billion worlds.

The Hope of six billion Gods.

The Hope for survival, The hope for better future, The Hope for growth, The Hope for strength....

This energy, harvested from the hearts of countless mortals and deities, was concentrated into a singularity at the tip of the butterfly's wing.

It was a force that transcended physics. The barrier, designed to repel hostility, sensed the overwhelming purity of the intent. It felt the collective wish of its own inhabitants, they wanted these travelers inside.

HUMMM.

The barrier began to groan. As it yielded itself in front of the hopes of it's own habitant.

Like a heavy curtain being pulled aside by an invisible hand, the blue light parted, revealing the swirling universes inside it.

"Look!" Thera screamed, her voice cracking with exhaustion and relief. "The barrier... it's opening!"

"Enter fast," Shenlong's voice projected directly into their minds, urgent and commanding. "It will close soon."

Outside in the cosmic void, the real Shenlong coiled his massive dragon body tighter.

He had just burned through half of his accumulated Hope Reserves. It was a staggering cost, enough energy to fuel a billion miracles on a mortal world.

But Shenlong didn't mourn the loss. He was a creation of Emperor Cosmos, and he followed the Emperor's First Rule of Economics: Currency is meant to be spent.

"If I hoard Hope, it is just stagnant energy," Shenlong calculated, his dragon eyes glowing with intelligence.

"But if I invest it here? If I show these three Gods that a mere Demigod of the Empire can achieve what they could not? I plant a seed."

He was buying their awe. He was buying their future hope and Faith.

When these powerful entities joined the Pantheon, the Hope they would generate in return would pay back his investment a thousandfold.

It was a gamble, and Shenlong was betting the house.

"Go!"

Thera didn't need to be told twice. She tightened her grip on Cai Zhen's withered body.

"Hold on, Cai," she sobbed, rushing toward the rift. "We made it."

She carried the dying God of Cultivation in a princess carry, a sight that would have been comical if not for the tragic desperation etched on her face. She plunged into the rift and vanished.

But Beru didn't move.

The God of Evolution, the Prince of the Zerg, stood frozen in the void. His eyes were locked onto the tiny, glowing butterfly. His mandibles clicked in a rhythm of confusion and bruised pride.

"Dragon," Beru growled, his voice vibrating through the vacuum. "How were you able to do that? You are just a Demigod. A mere hatchling compared to us "

Beru had thrown his entire being at that wall. He had used all his hidden cards, but he still failed.

And yet, this butterfly had opened it with a whisper?

"Do you have a key?" Beru demanded, his pride refusing to accept reality. "Or an artifact?"

The butterfly fluttered its wings and spoke,"There is no key," its tone polite but laced with a subtle superiority. "I am Shenlong, the Demigod of Miracles and Wishes. Creating paths where there are none... that is my specialty."

The butterfly began to fade, its job done.

"Enter the hole. Inside, you may learn that your understanding of power is... Not as superior as you think it is."

With that, the avatar dissolved into light.

Beru stared at the empty space. His antennae twitched with irritation.

"New things?" Beru scoffed, clicking his claws. "I hope you are not some fraud. If I find out you tricked me..."

He turned and dove into the closing rift, chasing after Thera.

As the three guests crossed the threshold, they entered the Domain of Sunny.

Sunny sat on his throne, his eyes closed, feeling their arrival like a spider sensing vibrations on a web.

His God's Domain had expanded significantly. In the beginning, it only covered Veridia. Then, it covered the solar system. Now? It engulfed the entire Multiverse of the Realm of Advancement and also the Multiverse of Gods.

This massive expansion wasn't accidental. It was because of the sudden understanding of God's Domain.

Sunny had realized early on that a God's Domain expands spherically from the point of conquest. If he only conquered the center, the edges would remain dark.

So, he had changed his tactics.

He had sent his Eight Soul Clones to the farthest edges of the multiverse, to the corners of reality.

They conquered the border worlds first. By claiming the border, his Domain naturally stretched to connect the dots, creating a massive, encompassing bubble that trapped everything inside.

It was a genius move. By securing the edges, he owned the entire volume.

"Every atom, every photon, every thought in this multiverse is now within my sight," Sunny mused.

He didn't need to break the barrier himself. He didn't need to guide them personally.

He had delegated the task of opening the barrier to Shenlong to test the dragon's growth, and Shenlong had passed with flying colors.

"Now," Sunny whispered, opening his eyes. "Let's meet the Gods of the past."

In the center of the Throne Room, space twisted.

A purple vortex swirled into existence, manifested by Thea. It was a direct spatial bridge from the border to the palace.

First, Thera stumbled out. She fell to her knees on the polished floor, gasping for breath.

The rich, mana-dense air of the City of Gods flooded her lungs, instantly revitalizing her exhausted cells.

She gently laid Cai Zhen down. The old cultivator groaned, as if he will die at any moment.

Then, a massive shadow fell over them.

Beru stepped out of the portal. He stood tall, his armor scarred but imposing, his presence radiating the savage aura of a predator.

He looked around the Throne Room, his eyes scanning for threats, ready to fight, ready to dominate.

But then... he looked up.

He saw the Throne. He saw the figure sitting upon it.

And Beru froze.

It wasn't fear. Fear was a biological reaction to a threat.

This was Instinct.

Beru was an insectoid. His race was built on hierarchy. They were built to sense pheromones, power levels, and authority.

When he looked at Sunny, his senses screamed.

DANGER. DANGER. ABSOLUTE PREDATOR.

Beru had met Gods before. His father was a High God. He knew what power felt like.

But this pressure?

It was heavy. It was a cocktail of eighteen conflicting SSS-Grade Laws; Time, Void, Soul, Growth, Command... all harmonized into a single, terrifying being.

Beru's knees began to shake.

'Is he a monster?' Beru thought, his mandibles trembling. 'What is this pressure?'

He felt small. He felt like he had reverted to a larvae. He felt like... an ant.

'No,' Beru corrected himself, sweat pooling under his carapace. 'To call myself an ant would be arrogance. In front of him... I am dust.'

Sunny sat motionless, watching them. He didn't release his aura intentionally; this was just his resting state.

Thera, sensing the silence, looked up. She saw the Emperor and immediately bowed her head, pulling the unconscious Cai Zhen down with her.

"Greetings, Emperor Cosmos," Thera said, her voice filled with reverence. "We... we seek help."

Beru struggled. His pride fought against his instincts. But as Sunny's violet-gold eyes shifted to meet Beru's gaze, the Zerg Prince broke.

He dropped to one knee. Not out of politeness, but because his legs simply refused to hold him up against the weight of Sunny's existence.

"Greetings..." Beru rasped, his voice losing all its earlier arrogance.

Sunny smiled beneath his mask. The intimidation check was successful.

"No need for courtesy," Sunny said. His voice was calm, yet it echoed from every corner of the room simultaneously.

"We are all Gods here. You have traveled far, and you have suffered much."

Sunny waved his hand.

Shimmer.

Mana condensed in the air, weaving together to form a magnificent round table made up of white marble. Four comfortable chairs materialized around it.

"Sit," Sunny invited, descending from his throne to walk among them. "Rest. I know who you are, and I know what you are running from."

He looked at the dying Cai Zhen.

"And I have news for all of you" Sunny added, his eyes filled with pity.

He was going to tell them about the condition of their multiverses, all the lifeforms were mostly dead or nearly extinct.

He was going to tell them who did it, he was going to fill them up with rage. Rage that will help them grow.
