It has been over half an hour since Liam arrived at Dark Dragon Villa and he has taken his time to carefully look through the property.
The first thing one must know is that the property, Dark Dragon Villa, is bigger than Bellemere Mansion in more ways than one. Of course, that would be obvious, considering that it's the only property located on the entire of Dragon Cave Estate.
The interior of the property looks almost no different from a regular luxurious mansion back on Liam's Earth. If anything at all, the interior design is way better than properties back on Earth. It's not painted white all through and on the walls, are very exquisite carvings and artworks hung to it.
But there was one major difference between the Dark Dragon Villa and Bellemere Mansion is the huge underground training arena.
Liam sighed, relaxing further into the soft and comfortable couch. He felt extremely grateful to the system for giving him a place of residence in this world on his first sign-in. And according to the property's document, it's also located in the far safer side of the state.
He doesn't need to think to understand what that part meant: gate break and the overflow of monsters. It was just that self-explanatory.
Another thing Liam was grateful to the system for, was the money and the car. $10m was no means a small amount. Though he has no idea about the economic state of this world but he felt that it won't be far off from what he's familiar with.
But there's one problem with properties like Bellemere Mansion and Dark Dragon Villa, it needs a team to manage it. There's also the need for security.
"It's good that JP Morgan survived the apocalypse. As expected of the biggest private financial institution in the world. I wonder what extra services they now offer post apocalypse," Liam muttered to himself.
He would naturally get the answers to his questions soon, as Lucy had already connected to this world's internet, to gather information and also plug herself into it.
While he waited for her, he turned his attention back to the system. He still has a lot of questions he wants to ask it.
"System, tell me more about this uniqueness of mine. How is it that I only exist on one Earth and not other parallel Earths?" He asked.
This was naturally the first of his questions. What the system said about him being unique has been stuck in his head and he felt that he would die of curiosity if he doesn't get a satisfying answer to it.
[Host, what sort of being do you think occupy the Grand Universe?]
"I don't know but you called them extremely terrifying entities," Liam replied.
[Correct, Host. I called them that because that's what they are. The three universes was created by these entities in the Grand Universe. It's been eons since these universes was created and none of them have birthed another entity of equivalent status. The reason for that is because of the level of difficulty involved, as one would need to reach the level and surpass the level of their universe's law creator. That process would take eons but with very little or almost negligible progress. There's a faster way to reach that level, which is choosing a group and swearing loyalty to them. But one would need to have the strength and potential that can attract their attention. And their standards are very high.]
Liam frowned slightly, digesting everything the system had just said. The system hadn't answered the question about his uniqueness directly but he found what it was saying to be very interesting.
Even without the system directly telling who those entities are, Liam could already guess. They are Gods. There was no other explanation. The only entity with such level of power that can create universes are Gods.
"System, tell me more about these entities. Give me an example of one of them if you can and explain how my uniqueness is related to them," Liam said.
[The first requirement for a mortal to be able to ascend to the level of those entities is the uniqueness you have. And they must come from your universe, as mortals on other universes from cultivation and the magic universes can never achieve such status and level of power.]
"System, you mean that no matter how strong one gets in the magic and cultivation universe, they will never be able to become as strong as those entities?" Liam asked.
[Yes, Host. For those in the cultivation universe, to stand above the Grand Dao is impossible. For those in the magic universe, they will never be able to reach that level because the World Tree, Yggdrasil, has made that impossible. She's even more powerful than most entities in the Grand Universe, standing at almost the same level as the Primordials.]
"Wow! So much information," Liam muttered slowly, doing his best to digest the mind blowing information.
"System, please confirm something for me. Those in the cultivation world needs to surpass the Grand Dao, while those in the magic universe needs to surpass Yddgrasil?" He asked.
[That's correct, Host.]
"Wow! It's truly impossible," Liam muttered to himself.
He continued thinking about everything the system had told him and he also remembered what was said about his home universe.
"System, you said that the only chance one has at reaching that level is to be from my home universe and be unique like me. But that uniqueness doesn't affect the effect of the restriction on the absorption of dark energy, or does it?"
[No, Host. It doesn't.]
"Then there's really no benefit to the uniqueness then," Liam sighed.
[You're the first case, Host, and you will be the last. The ****** would make sure of that.]
Liam smiled when he heard that. The system's words were ominous in a way. But he wasn't worried. He will see these adventure through to the end. He intends to stand on the same level as those entities, and to stand above them. He was aware of the difficulty of the goal and how grand it is, but that doesn't mean anything to him.
"System, according to what you said about the entities that resides in the Grand Universe, does that mean what I saw when I was standing in the void—the massive tree and roots isn't truly Yddgrasil? Was that an avatar?"
[That's correct, Host. What you saw was her True Avatar.]
"True Avatar, huh? Seems like my journey is about to become more interesting," Liam muttered to himself.
He was curious about why the system had hidden the name of the entity. But with his understanding of the system and how it had causally named the World Tree, he felt that that entity would be even more powerful than Yddgrasil and probably the Primordials too.
Well, those aren't my current concern at the moment. I'm still powerless but that won't be for long.
"Master, I've gathered the information you aksed for," Lucy said, bringing Liam out of his reverie.
"Good girl. Transfer everything to me. Time to learn more about this parallel Earth," Liam said.
Immediately, Lucy transferred all of the information directly into his brain, using Lucid.
