Soon they reached the city gates.

Leaving a crowd of stunned observer behind! Well of course these common folks would be out of there minds since Black just rejected a 1000 magistones with such a neutral expression.

And as if that wasn't enough! He even mocked it as some paltry sum.

Fucking shit! If he didn't want that money! That paltry sum than he should've just given it to them after taking it!

Why did he have to reject the money!

Was he mocking them too or was he some rich bastard acting poor! No one knew what was true and what was not!

Regardless everyone's gaze was on Black!

Some were displeased by his actions! Some were afraid of him! Some were jealous of him because of his good looks and for having such a heavenly beauty for himself!

Some examined him with interest! Curious about who exactly was this unknown man and that woman who came out of nowhere!

There curiosity was only intensified when they saw how easily he killed those two guards without breaking a sweat who were a whole ascension rank above him.

All in all! The public before the city gates was abuzz with different speculations regarding who Black was! Some wondering about him while the others talked out loud.

"How much for entering the city? For us two?"

Black looked at the city guard named Gray with a neutral look! It was the guard who had complained about working extra hard to clear his body and blood.

He had quiet a decent appearance too!

Gray had black hair! Cerulean blue eyes! And was dressed in a suit of armor! Standing at 1.8 meters of hight! Still a head shorter than Black.

"S-Sir! For someone like yourself! There is no need to pay any enterance fee to enter the city!." The city guard smiled awkwardly!

His head drenched in sweat just by standing in Black's presence! He so cursed his past self for opening his cursed mouth.

'Why did this monster have to choose me out of all the guards standing here?'

Gray gave his comrades a side-long glance and they immediately looked away whistling as though they didn't know who the heck he even was.

'These bastards! Some comrades they are?'

Even though Gray wanted to beat the shit out of his friends! He still needed to survive his current predicament!

Considering He was nothing but a lowly Level 67 guard! Therefore he was that much more terrified of Black.

If Gray had known that the one he mocked was so mysterious and was capable of killing beings so much stronger than him! Than he never would've opened his mouth! Not even in his dream.

However there was no use crying over spilled milk!

Now Gray can only hope to salvage the situation by currying favors with Black! He certainly didn't want to make an enemy out of someone so mysterious like him! Nor did he wanted to die young.

"Just tell me how much is it! Already?" Black furrowed his brows.

"Yes! My Lord." Seeing that his attempted bootlicking failed!

He immediately explained. "The entry fee is hundred for rank six magistones! Ten for rank seven magistones and one for rank eight magistone! Sir."

Black nodded. "Here! Take this!" He handed the guard a rank nine magistone and further added. "I suppose you can consider this as your payment for cleaning the two bodies and the fresh blood from the road."

"Y-Y-Yes Sir.. " The guard shivered and didn't even had the strength to deny the money and say that he would do so without any money!

It's not like Gray didn't want to deny the rank nine magistone because he was greedy by nature! And it indeed was true! A rank nine magistone was indeed the highest currency in the mortal world.

But the guard! Gray was just too terrified of the notion that this mysterious figure actually remembered what he uttered previously! That his brain! His head couldn't even think about anything else.

His mind was so chaotic with traumatic thoughts about how he was going to get killed by the mysterious man without even grasping how! Just because of his foolish mouth!

That Gray didn't even realize that he was already on his knees with tears streaming down his eyes!

And as Gray was wallowing in regret the other passers-by thoughts that he was crying in happiness after getting a rank nine magistone while being a mere Ascension Level 67 guard!

And some of his own comrade were even giving him a jealous look.

Thinking that it should've been them in that place instead of him, without even knowing how happy Gray would've been to do that!

Meanwhile the man who was the reason for the poor guards despair had already entered the city of Greenwood!

Not knowing what his simply act of kindness did to the poor soul.

As Black and Zephyr entired the Greenwood City!

The first thing they saw were the bustling streets lined with rows and rows of two story and three story building of many kinds!

The many individuals of different ethnicities and a plethora of races walked the busy streets! Laughing! Talking! Arguing! Going about there daily lives!

People walked on the side streets and the many carriages moved through the wide roads! Either going in or out of the city.

It was surreal experience for them! Simply watching all these mundane things, which no one ever bothered or cared about!

It carried a unique beauty in and of itself that not many people knew about!

That only Black and Zephyr could experience as they observed everything with a mind that of an excited child.

Than soon there wide gazes travelled far into the distance!

There Black and Zephyr's sparkling eyes finally landed on the thing!

That something that gave the city of Greenwood it's uniqueness! It's very name came from that marvel of Elytheria!

It was a majestic tree!

The tree had a wide dark-emerald bark! And it wasn't just wide it was super wide! More than.. perhaps a hundred kilometers wide or maybe more- Black couldn't tell!

Rather it was more accurate to say that! He could not compherend the sheer size of that thing! His breath hitched! His gaze incredulous.

The trees width was one thing but it's dark-emerald bark wasn't just wide!

It was tall too! So tall that it's deep emerald-bluish crown of leaves pierced the Elytherian clouds! The crown itself was also atleast four times more wider than its bark!

How a tree such as this grew on top a flat mountain! That was again on top of a hollow land was utterly beyond Black's mind!

He didn't even want to think about it.

However the most unique thing about that emerald-bluish crown of leaves was that despite its width and thickness!

The crown didn't stop the sunlight from reaching the ground! It was as if the crown of leaves did not even exist for the sunlight.

"Majestic and Marvelous!?" Black mumbled! Zephyr nodded absent mindedly!

"The Grand Emerald Elder Wood! So that is the place where the Silverwood Family resides! Huh?"

"Indeed. Master!~ "

Than Black suddenly had a question appeare in his mind out of nowhere! Initially he didn't want to entertain this question but his curiosity got the better of him!

"Say! Luna?"

Black whispered! His head turned towards her!. "Um. If I said.. I want to go there right now? Would I be allowed to?"

"Why wouldn't you be! Master!~ "

Luna giggled! Her gaze amused at her masters awkward expression and his curious question.

"The Divine Spirit of the Grand Emerald Elder Wood would be more than happy! In fact she would be overjoyed to have you personally visiting her!~ "

Black blinked in speechlessness. "Are you for real!?"

Nevertheless his expression soon returned to normal! He supposed that was to be expected!

It was just that!

It was still quiet hard for Black to digest! That there were actual third phase existences out there who indeed wanted to kill him but there were also some Divine's out there who wanted to befriend him.

Everyone had there own reasons for doing what they were doing!

And he was nothing but an object who some wished to destroy and some wished to protect.

But he himself couldn't do anything! He wasn't capable of! He couldn't participate in this game of Divine's!

A game that played with his very own life as the prize because- well! Because he was weak.

At this point! Black couldn't help but laugh wryly in his mind!

He shook his head inwardly.
