Extra's Death: I Am the Son of Hades

Chapter 746: Amelia VS Former Supreme Of Destruction

Amelia POV

Hours earlier

Amelia's Complete World unfolded.

Everything vanished in an instant.

The ship, the land, the sky. All of it was gone.

Now, everyone was standing on a calm, clear blue sea that stretched endlessly.

Above them, the sky had turned into a red, bubbling Blood Sea.

Laplace stood across from her. His tall was figure reflected on the water's surface.

He raised his head and frowned slightly.

"Hmm. Blood sea?"

Then his eyes turned toward Amelia.

She didn't attack right away.

Instead, her World began to breathe, absorbing and shifting.

The gentle ripples across the sea weren't just water. They were her law moving through existence.

The law of her World she was currently using was simple: Water is the source of all life.

And through that law, she began draining the life energy of anything within her sea.

Laplace smiled when he felt it.

A low, rumbling laugh escaped his throat.

"You really think this will work, Loved One? Haven't you learned how to use your powers properly? If not, this is going to be laughably easy."

He lifted one foot and stomped.

A deep ripple passed through her world.

The blue sea trembled. The waves twisted, then cracked like glass.

Amelia's eyes widened.

A simple stomp had destabilized her Complete World.

Laplace hadn't even used his own World yet.

Her knees almost buckled from the pressure.

The sea under her feet was trying to return to nothingness.

"Amelia! Don't back down!" Percival shouted from behind her. His eyes were closed, his body surrounded by faint golden threads. "He's attacking your psyche! Stay focused! Keep fighting!"

Amelia took a deep breath and raised her hand.

The sea around her began to glow.

The waves swelled, transforming into massive walls of water that roared toward Laplace.

Laplace smiled faintly, unfazed. "That's better."

He extended his hand.

Black flames appeared around his fingers, each one humming with destruction.

When he waved his arm, the flames turned into spears that cut through the waves.

Each spear exploded, evaporating water with pure destructive intent.

Amelia clenched her teeth and pulled the waves back together.

The water reformed faster than before, swirling into a massive vortex.

"Water, respond to my will," she whispered.

The vortex twisted, forming a giant spear made entirely of condensed life energy.

She thrust her palm forward, and the spear shot toward Laplace.

Laplace didn't move.

The spear pierced through his chest.

For a moment, Amelia thought it worked. But his expression didn't change.

The body in front of her dissolved into mist.

He reappeared behind her.

"Good try," he said quietly. His hand touched her back, and her entire world shuddered again.

Before he could attack, Amelia spun around, striking with a wave.

The sea surged upward, forming a massive arm that slammed into Laplace.

The impact sent him back, but he landed easily on the rippling surface.

He laughed again. "You're strong, I'll give you that. But strength without understanding is useless."

The sea around them began to twist again.

Laplace was now walking forward, each step sending small black ripples across her blue ocean.

Every ripple clashed with her world's law, breaking parts of it apart.

Amelia's breathing quickened.

Her control was slipping.

She focused harder.

The red blood sea above began to churn violently. Streams of crimson light poured down into her world, reinforcing her energy.

"You're trying to use an external flow to stabilize your world. But that external flow doesn't work well with the Law you are using.

"To fuse them both, your understanding needs to be a lot higher, or you need to have a corresponding Concept. But…."

Laplace shook his head.

"You know nothing. You are like a newborn with a weapon. The weapon is dangerous but you know nothing of it."

He smiled slightly, as if remembering something from the past.

"The last time I fought Supreme of Water, I couldn't kill her. I supposed killing you would ease my regret a little."

"We will see about that," Amelia said, pushing her power forward.

Laplace's eyes glowed faintly, and he grinned.

The sea beneath them burst apart again.

Amelia raised both arms and brought them down sharply.

A tidal wave of blood and water crashed down. The impact tore through the space between them, splitting the air with a roar.

Laplace didn't dodge. He let it hit.

The wave devoured him, swallowing his form whole.

For a second, everything went silent.

Then the sea exploded upward.

Laplace walked out of the steam, his clothes burned and torn, but his expression remained calm.

"As I said," he said. "You are not using anything properly"

He raised his arm and clenched his fist.

The clear sea darkened instantly.

Amelia felt her law twisting, and her control weakening.

Laplace's presence was pressing on the foundation of her world itself.

His existence carried a weight that her world couldn't fully suppress.

He was the former Supreme of Destruction.

Even sealed, his essence carried the ability to break down creation itself.

But Amelia didn't retreat.

She spread her arms, forcing the sea to glow again.

The light expanded in rings, pushing his darkness back.

Her Divine Energy pulsed.

"Even if my world breaks, I'll protect them."

Laplace's smile widened. "Now you sound like her."

Their powers collided again.

Destruction clashed with the source of life.

The blood sea above started to rain crimson droplets.

The droplets turned into miniature explosions as they hit the ocean below.

Arthur and Percival were watching from the edge of the battlefield, both barely holding their ground.

Arthur gritted his teeth. "She can't hold this forever."

Percival didn't open his eyes.

He was concentrating, his hands glowing faintly with golden threads of fate. "I know. Just wait. There's still a chance."

Arthur glanced toward the far side of the battlefield. Felix's corpse was lying inside a half-destroyed barrier.

He took a deep breath and started moving silently. His footsteps made no sound as he crossed the trembling water.

Amelia continued to fight.

Laplace's attacks were growing sharper, heavier. Every strike from him felt like the world itself was breaking apart.

But she kept her focus on him.

Both she and Percival were using their powers to hide Arthur.

If she could buy Arthur a few more seconds, it would be enough.

Laplace smiled, mid-battle.

"I feel as if you're hiding something."

Amelia didn't answer.

"Is it this?"

Suddenly, he looked to his right. His eyes locked onto Arthur.

Arthur froze mid-step.

Laplace's grin turned cold.

"Did you really think you could sneak past the senses of an ancient dragon?"

He raised his hand, and black light began to gather.

With so far away, he could kill Arthur before Amelia could protect him.

The energy in Laplace's hand twisted into a massive orb, pulsing with destructive force.

Amelia moved before he could release it.

Her sea rose instantly, forming a solid wall between Arthur and Laplace. T

Arthur jumped through the chaos, reaching Felix's corpse. His hands trembled slightly, but he didn't hesitate.

Laplace's Orb of Destruction struck the sea wall created by Amelia, exploding with a deafening boom.

Steam and mist filled the Amelia's Complete world.

The explosion faded slowly.
