"We also have ballistae powered by Aether Core and the Black Griffin Legion at ready. As such, our defences are impenetrable. So please relax and enjoy the journey".

After the crew left, the Queen turned towards Reinhardt to ask a question. Since he was duty bound to protect his liege, he could not leave their side. As such, his interaction with the Queen became something that was inevitable.

What about the King? Well, the guy was a man of few words, so he did not say much, leaving the Queen and him to discuss everything. Even counting the time when the previous Reinhardt became a knight, this would be his first time interacting with the queen so much.

Additionally, as she was a fun person and a peerless beauty, he did not mind her company.

"My knight, what do you think? Is this ship safe?"

She was asking whether what the crew member said earlier was true or not.

"Do not worry, Your Majesty, what that person said earlier was the truth. This ship is equipped with defences that can even withstand the attack of the herd of hippogriffs we encountered earlier".

He had used the [Eyes of Divine Clarity] earlier; as such, it couldn't be false. An airship that could resist against a horde of [A] rank sky monsters, that in itself was impressive.

"I see in that case, this trip to the kingdom of Aetherion would be quite a peaceful one".

Reinhardt nodded. Even he at that time could not predict what kind of storms were brewing in the kingdom of Aetherion at this very moment.

With six turbines propelling the magnificent vessel, the speed at which they travelled was extremely great. Within less than a day, they had covered a vast amount of land and had entered the borders of Aetherion.

From there, it was just a half a minute of flight and they finally reached their destination, the capital Aetherion.

As a majestic kingdom situated in a verdant piece of land filled with mighty mountains, lakes, rivers, and flatlands, the kingdom of Aetherion, when observed from the sky, was like a picturesque land, a heaven on earth.

And as the capital of such a beautiful place, the city was grand and impressive, so much so that one would have a hard time describing the magnificence of the place.

Of course, their Capital Solaris was no less impressive. However, when compared to the gigantic size of this city, even the former paled in comparison.

"No wonder they are the strongest out of the Seven Kingdoms. It's because their foundation is that great," The Queen spoke. Even she couldn't help but compliment the capital city that the kingdom of Aetherion had built.

Resting within a colossal basin, carved by time and trials, the city was surrounded on all sides by cascading waterfalls so vast that it seemed like all the waters of Valdonia were actually converging here, creating a breathtaking and marvelous scene.

Waterways weave through the city, connecting all of its districts, some natural, some engineered, carrying gondolas and small cargo ships.

After landing in the city, the Vice Commander of the Black Griffin Legion led them through these very waterways, where a magnificent passenger ship was waiting to ferry them.

After passing through numerous districts and scenic places, they finally arrived at the royal capital. Inside, the king and the queen, Princess Diana, and the Dark Knight were waiting for them.

The King and the Queen, Reinahrdt and a few of his knights visited the royal palace. The rest of them were led to the inn to rest first. The Kings and Queens of two of the Seven Great Kingdoms greeted each other with friendly smiles and welcoming gestures.

The presence of the demons and the forces of Darkness might have stabilised the world and pushed humans to the brink of extinction. However, it also contrarily brought the surviving humans together, creating a bond that was stronger than ever.

Of course, there was diplomacy and self interest still hidden behind those smiles and masqueraded within sophistry. But that was just human nature.

Two Kings and Queens of foreign nations greeting each other was a huge matter that naturally attracted many eyes currently present in the audience hall. That said, the ones with the real presence here were not them.

Instead, it was the two knights, one golden and one black, who were at this moment smiling at each other. No aura released, no power flares, it was just their raw presence and charisma that voraciously pulled all the attention towards them.

With all eyes focused on them, the Dark Knight approached the divine paladin and extended his hand. The latter shook it in a handshake as a form of respect and mutual trust.

"So you came, huh? It makes me happy," Vaerion grinned. Just before leaving the capital of Solaris, he had invited the Divine Paladin to his wedding. Seeing the other party here, he was naturally happy.

"Well, I had no choice in this matter as my knight order was the one to receive the mission to escort their majesties. Besides, I was invited so.."

The two knights who had broken through the realm of superhumans and became heroes. Their presence, their authority… in this royal palace, it appeared like they were the real royalty here.

Of course, the two were, in the end, knights first and foremost. As such, after acknowledging each other, they greeted the opposite royalties, their attitude not too servile nor too humble.

"So this is the man they call the Divine Paladin, huh? It's no wonder even Vaerion respects him. Solarion is lucky to have a knight like him protecting its lands."

The king of Aetherion, a middle aged man with a regal aura and trimmed beard, spoke.

His eyes contained shock and some respect as he saw that even when up against their Black Gryffin Legion Commander, the Divine Paladin's presence did not get suppressed. In fact, the moment the latter appeared, it was as if the world visibly brightened, like light dispelling darkness.
