She Used Me for a Dare… Now I Own Her Mother

Chapter 114: Sent it by Mistake?

As Tisha sat curled against his chest, savoring the lingering warmth of their dinner, a thought whispered into her mind... what could she do to make him stay, to not let this moment slip away?

Her pulse quickened as the idea took shape, bold and reckless, but too tempting to hold back.

Her lips parted, voice soft but daring, "Alex… why don't you… come live with me?"

He stilled, his brows lifting slightly, a flicker of surprise in his eyes. Then, with a gentle chuckle, he brushed his thumb along her cheek.

"Tempting," he said warmly, "but not like this."

Her heart dipped, a faint pout tugging at her lips... until he added, his tone low and deliberate, "I've got a better plan. I'll tell you later."

The mystery in his voice wrapped around her tighter than his arms, leaving her restless with curiosity.

Just as they were savoring the quiet intimacy, the soft glow of candlelight reflecting in their eyes, Alex's phone pinged from the side of the table.

He glanced at it, trying to ignore the sound, but another notification followed almost immediately. His brow furrowed.

Tisha noticed, concern flickering across her face. "Is that… from the hospital?" she asked softly, nudging his arm.

Alex shook his head, but curiosity... and unease... made him pick up the phone.

Alex's thumb hovered over the notification, a flicker of hesitation passing through his eyes.

Slowly, almost reluctantly, he tapped it open... a message from an unknown number.

His eyes widened, shock flashing across his face before he could mask it.

His eyes locked on the screen. Lila... bold, intimate, utterly unrestrained... posed as if daring him to look.

Every curve, every angle, every glance screamed desire meant only for another man. And yet, here it was, laid bare before him, impossible to ignore, igniting a storm of shock, disbelief.

A hard swallow followed as he blinked rapidly, his muscles stiffening under the weight of sudden disbelief.

"What the… fu*k?" he muttered, low and raw.

His gaze flicked to Tisha, guilt and disbelief warring across his features.

"W-what happened?" Tisha whispered, leaning closer, heart skipping.

She leaned over, her eyes widening just slightly as the images flickered across the screen... a brief flash of disbelief crossing her face before she masked it with a calm, measured smile.

"Hmm… who's this? I've seen her somewhere," she asked, tilting her head, eyes curious.

Alex hesitated. "She… she's from college."

She arched an eyebrow, leaning back slightly. "So… this is your type?" Her voice held a teasing edge, but her eyes were sharp, calculating.

"Tell me, Alex... been keeping little secrets from me all along?"

Alex tried to deny, fumbling slightly. "No… nothing like that…"

But another ping arrived. More photos.

This time, her audacity crossed every line. She was sprawled across rumpled sheets, back arched just enough to flaunt every curve, legs parted in the most indecent invitation.

One hand tugged at her hair as if caught mid-moan, the other resting low between her thighs... bold, shameless, daring any man to lose control.

It wasn't just provocative... it was the kind of sinful pose no saint could withstand. A trap, designed to tempt even the hardest rock to crack.

Alex's jaw tightened. Tisha's eyes widened slightly, then a soft laugh escaped her. "Haha… wow. She really knows how to make an entrance, I'll give her that."

Alex blinked, surprised at her composure. "Aren't you… angry?"

Tisha leaned in, settling on his lap, her warmth pressing against him. She traced a finger along his chest and whispered, "Why would I be? Do you think I'll throw a scene or get upset? Alex… I've seen enough, know enough about you… I don't care about anyone else as long as you're mine. Everything else… it's just noise."

He laughed, low and relieved. "So… you're a poet now?"

She smiled, playful. "Maybe. But seriously… who is she? From your expression, it's clear you weren't expecting that."

Before he could answer, another message arrived. "I'm sorry… really sorry… didn't mean to… please forgive me. I was sending it to Mike." The text seemed sincere... but Alex knew better.

"She says she sent it to me by mistake," he explained, showing her.

Tisha's eyes narrowed, a sly, furious smile tugging at her lips. "Unbelievable… this foxy bitch," she muttered, fingers tapping the screen. "Sent it by mistake… but not deleting it? Really?"

Tisha read it again, eyes narrowing, voice playful but firm. "Gf of Mike, huh? Well… if that's true, she's one bold little bitch, trying to tempt his friend. You better make sure Mike knows... don't let her get away with this."

Alex nodded. "I know… but don't worry. Mike's aware, and he is not emotionally involved. And we're just testing her."

Tisha's eyes sparkled with amusement and warning. "Be careful. She's not innocent in this. Every move she makes… she wants something. Don't let her manipulate you."

He looked at her, the warmth in her eyes grounding him. Her hand squeezed his, and he felt that familiar pull... the one that made him realize she wasn't just his lover; she was his anchor.

"And don't worry," she added, voice soft, teasing. "I know you, Alex. And I'm yours. Always."

He smiled, truly smiling, the tension dissolving in the intimate cocoon they'd built at that dinner table. The night stretched before them, full of warmth, laughter, and quiet, unspoken passion.

Alex's eyes flicked back to the phone, lingering on the audacious images. His pulse quickened, a strange mix of disbelief and… irritation? No, more than that. And an unmistakable respect for the girl's boldness.

You're really bold… he thought, lips pressing into a thin line. I'll teach you properly for this…

He shook his head slightly, trying to push the images away, but his mind kept returning. Lila's audacity, her deliberate provocation.

Tisha, noticing his lingering gaze, arched an eyebrow with a teasing smile. "You really like that pic, huh?"

Her fingers lightly traced along his arm, voice dropping to a playful whisper. "I can feel your… excitement… down there."

Alex's eyes snapped back to her, cheeks coloring as he quickly shut the phone.

They both burst into laughter, the tension dissolving instantly as she leaned against him, her laughter warm and mischievous. His grin mirrored hers, shaking his head at his own antics.

Alex had expected this from Lila... he knew what she was doing... but he was still shocked by how quickly she had gone for it.

The sheer speed of her forwardness sent a shock through him, a mix of surprise and admiration, though he would never admit it aloud.

And then his eyes flicked to Tisha, sitting serenely on his lap, her warmth radiating against him.

She wasn't jealous, she wasn't rattled... just confident, composed, playful. Her laugh still echoed in his mind, a soft melody that both calmed and ignited him.

And here I was worried… he thought, a small smirk tugging at his lips. I should have known better. She's mine, and nothing else matters.

The dinner, the wine, the intimate warmth of Tisha against him... everything sharpened his senses. Every brush of her hand, every playful tease, every soft laugh only made the thought burn hotter.
